Chapter 4 - Discussion

Still inside the 3rd Fleet Headquarters of the Wachia Navy, the group led by Vice Admiral Otto was busy discussing essential matters related to maritime affairs including the location of natural reefs that usually made ship movement difficult as well as the wind direction in the seasons found on the Buviland continent.

The Buviland Continent itself mainly consisted of deep seas on the west, meanwhile all the land regions were in the east. The biggest and only landmass was located from the north to northeast of the continent, while the rest of the land-created archipelago spanned below the landmass from south to southeast and east of the continent. There are precisely 13 nations in the Buviland Continent which vary from small to large. The population in the continent ranges from Humans, Beastmen, Elves, Dark Elves, and Dwarves with 13 different cultures almost following the nation's border.

In the north to the northeast part of the region, there is the Kingdom of Wachia with its vessel United Republic of Kolomih on the northwest border and the United Kingdom of Quilkia on the east border of the Kingdom of Wachia. Then on the east bordering the Kingdom of Wachia and the United Kingdom of Quilkia, there is the Kingdom of Asfelia. On the east of the Kingdom of Asfelia, there is the Almewesian Union with the Cold Mountains region on its north-northeast border. Lastly, on the northeast side of the continent, there is the Kirlowbigian Empire with the Almewesian Union and the Cold Mountains region on the west border. The Kirlowbigian Empire also bordered the Duchy of Bredalis in the southeast border.

In the south of the landmass, there is an archipelago with the Thearchy of Narokh bordering the Grand Duchy of Nol. On the east of the Grand Duchy of Nol, there is the Island of the Principality of Zileuthloth. On the southeast of the Principality of Zileuthloth, there is the Protectorate of Captanes, a vessel of the Republic of Baranzib. In the south of the Narokh, Nol, Zileutholth, and Captanes, there is the Republic of Baranzib. On the western side of the Republic of Baranzib, there is the Tovigerian Khaganate. And on the western side of the Tovigerian Khaganate, there is the Bayandelian Khaganate.

"Hmm... after looking at the Buviland map, it turns out that you only use the north, west, and east directions huh?"

"That's right, to make it easier for sailors to determine their location, our predecessors agreed not to include the south in the coordinates. However, the south direction is generally used when goods/people/things are moving towards the south direction."

Democracy is a system of government in which the majority of the adult population participates in politics based on a representative system, which then ensures that the government is accountable for its actions and decisions. So it can be concluded that the people's decisions will return to the people of a country itself. Citizens can also reject and revolt if they feel that the existing system of government is unfair and oppressive."

"Hoo... quite complex, but in outline. A country with a democratic system will usually be considered as a common interest where if there is a deviation, the impact will be very fatal."

"That's right, overall the democratic system is not perfect, but it can solve most of the problems that a country has."

Vice Admiral Otto's group along with Admiral Pierot broke straight through the enemy siege and ran towards the harbour where KRI Raden Eddy Martadinata was anchored. The air units that saw their Captain's group running towards the harbour immediately positioned themselves to protect them.

"Unit 1 to Bridge, we confirm the movement of Garuda 1."

"Bridge to Unit 1, protect Garuda 1 at all costs, but ensure there are no third-party casualties."

"Understood."

Once it was deemed safe enough for the Garuda 1 group from the enemy forces. Unit 1 immediately opened fire on the enemy using machine guns to slow them down. At the same time, Admiral Pierot ordered his men to raise anchor and immediately set sail with the 9th Fleet towards open waters. Leadership in Bagaantulag would be given to Colonel Rutzen. He would lead the troops to counter the behaviour of the Governor of Bagaantulag who had suddenly turned into a threat to the Kingdom.

When the Garuda 1 entourage had entered KRI Raden Eddy Martadinata, the warship immediately lifted anchor and moved away from the harbour. KRI Martadinata immediately joined the 9th Fleet to discuss Admiral Pierot's invitation to the capital of the Wachia Kingdom. Inside the ship, he, Laksma Agas and the navy chiefs discussed the plan.

"We have no problem ourselves, but according to Admiral Pierot's information, the Wachia Kingdom is at war with its neighbouring countries. So there will be a possibility that there are spies/assassins in the capital of the Wachia Kingdom."

"If that's the case, then we can do something like that. But the risk level will be higher. Given the large population of a capital city and the panic that will occur."

" Vice Admiral Otto to the entire fleet, we will move towards the capital of the Wachia Kingdom. Maintain fleet formation and change fleet status to red alert."

Meanwhile, Admiral Pierot began to lead his ship and directed his 5 Frigates to escort the 9th Fleet towards the capital of the Wachia Kingdom, Runca City. Admiral Pierot's fleet will move in front of the 9th Fleet where we will match our speed with Pierot's fleet.
