Ninety-nine desert nights

Isabel has stage four cancer somewhere in her guts, so she has packed her bag and went to Raven's Cove, a beach resort owned by the Raven family. The resort offers a retirement plan for terminally ill patients. And one thing that attracted Isabel to sign up is the fulfillment of her bucket list. The Party

At six, a car awaited at the concrete road at the backside of her house. The Chauffeur assisted her to get in the black, sleek, and expensive ride.

"Good evening, Isabel. My name is George, kindly get in." Unlike Ed. He knew how to flatter girls. He looked composed, well dressed and mannered.

"Thank you, George."

He beamed at her and then closed the car's door for her. Then he drove the automobile to the ballroom. There was the signage of glitters outside the hall that said 'Isabel's debut'.

Was it? She thought, maybe an introduction to dying.

It's fine by her. It made her feel important, so she appreciated it.

Inside, she felt she traveled back in time. All looked splendid. They clapped when she got into the entrance. Isabel's insides were being squeezed hard.

She was not used to this recognition and not preferred this type of gathering. Someone drew her wrist and brought her to the center.

When she recognized the person who held her, she relaxed a little.

He leaned on her ears and asked:

"Are you enjoying yourself?" That was an attempt to make him less obnoxious.

"Yes Ed, thank you." She grinned, and she witnessed the dude blush more than ever. She regretted smiling at him. Now he's back to being awkward.

"Ed, please give me some more of these drinks. It's delicious. " She neutralized the situation. He turned and left to take her drink when she wanted to say some more.

By the moment the shy guy returned, George offered her a dance. His face had a trace of disappointment when she went dancing with the other.

After a couple of songs, she wasn't comfortable with the vibe anymore. She excused herself to the bathroom, but she sneaked out towards the seashore to have some fresh air.

It's difficult for her to adjust. Drained, getting close contact with folk, she didn't meet before.

Arrived on the Island for only a day and a half, but a lot had happened. And this party it wasn't what she was expecting. She thought it's different from what her family did, but she realized parties were not her thing.

Not happy of mingling with others. She learned how to fake what she goes through in front of everyone, but right now, she didn't need to.

The festivity gave her more anxiety than fun, and it's no longer than an hour since it started.

She took off her shoes and walked on the coast to de-stress and chill. The night didn't go to waste in her opinion because the old people seem to enjoy it more. Her outfit, she loved wearing it, so she wasted nothing.

She trailed her way home and loved the breeze from the ocean, but suddenly smelled a fragrant scent. She searched around to find the source, but the trickling sound of water distracted her mind, it enticed her to play chase with the smooth waves. Soon she heard herself laugh.

After a few minutes, the strong, persistent aroma was back, so she stopped fooling around with water and looked around. She searched the palm trees of some wildflowers that may be the source of the pleasant smell.

Her feet brought her to a cobbled stone path instead. She followed the track until she reached a shack that was abandoned and crumbling.

Inside, there was only an oil lamp that could hardly light the whole hut. But it didn't stop her to check in. The pleasant perfume was coming from the place. She peered around. The place was bleak. Maybe it tried to attract someone so it won't feel lonely. But she dismissed the idea, it's absurd.

"Why would a hut feel lonely?" She chuckled at her own thought.

"It's not, but I am." A thick and slightly grunt voice came out of nowhere.

"Who's there?" She got scared and alert and even if she denied fear because of her condition, it's just a human's natural reaction when sensing danger.

"Look around." The hut was lit with many lamps, looked different and grand. It has an Arabic or Persian atmosphere.

The contrasting colors of curtains and the colorful embroidery were explicit. The rugs on the floor too were beautiful. Even the drapes were screaming middle eastern, but there's a kind of twist that declared it's also not.

When she struggled to see the owner of the voice, an extremely black iris met her chocolate brown. The owner of the black irises was lying on a gold divan decorated with colorful furs.

"How you are here is not important, you're here for one reason." He spoke.

None of what he just said went into her head. What entered her head was the overwhelming sight in front of her. She didn't know that her jaw actually dropped.

Only half of his body can fit on a long divan revealing that he was tall. A leopard-printed cloth which possibly from a real leopard, covered half of his body. His exposed body part was so ripped that it convinced Isabel his DNA was all muscles. His skin was dark chocolate and looked delicious. She wanted to take a bite.

Damn! She was so tempted to touch his hard rock abs. She let her eyes wander around, her attempt to depart her attention from his body. Turned her head three hundred sixty degrees to check if there was a modeling pictorial and she was just interrupting. But no one was around except her and him.

"Why am I here?" the question to the answer he made earlier.

"To please me." The man said straightforwardly. By just his voice, Isabel held her breath and clench her thighs. Something in her came alive.

Oh my god! She exclaimed in her mind. She bit her lip and tried hard to not push him to the ground and take advantage. He was several heads taller and his body was probably three times bigger than hers.

She's tall for an Asian girl of 170 centimeters, but comparing her height to his was just preposterous.

He grabbed her hips and swept her away from the floor, and claimed her lips. Was he reading her thoughts?

The aroma of his breath was the fragrant smell, she's been looking for. She got addicted, and she wanted more of the taste and smell of his breath.

Instead of moaning, she made a purring sounds like a kitten that made him chuckle. She thought Philip's kiss was the best, but this was not even comparable. It blew her mind into pieces that she forgot she's human.

He paused for a bit and chuckled. Even his small laughs were sexy. She wondered why he was laughing.
