Prologue

" Why... Why are you doing this to me!? " With a loud voice and a tiresome body, rei shouted as she tried to breath.

( Were... were did i go wrong?... why is this happening?... all my life... all my life i've been doing nothing but followed their order... so why the hell do i have to suffer like this?! )

An enormous amount of hatred dwell upon Rei's body. all the negative emotion that were lock deep down from her heart were now overflowing from her facial expression. As the bloody moon light is shining majestically through the darkness of the silent night.

A few year's before this incident happened, Rei was well known to be the empress of death. 30 year's ago she was merely an orphan that was adopted by the family alvariz, she was raised and well educated by them, she got all the food's that she want's, all the beautiful dress that she want's and most of all... their unbreakable love for her.

The reason for their enormous amount of affection is because the couple Alvariz were not able to create a child. but this is not just the end of her story, at the age of 12 she was just exploring the house when she accidentally found a secrete hideout hidden behind a large photo frame of her family. having the devil tickle her head, she went inside without a single thought.

Exploring the place, she keep's walking down the stair's. heavy breeze were running all over rei's body as she keep's on walking. as soon as she reach the lowest ground, only a single fire fly awaits her, it keeps on flying all over, is as if its telling her to follow its light.

After following the fire fly for a minute or 10, she discover yet another door, the door is not lock and is very easy to open for a child like rei. the fire fly went inside of the room as rei opened the door and continued to follow it.

" Woah!... this place look so cool! " Being amazed by the sorrounding, Rei tried to touch everything on it. the room is filled with guns and knife, even some medieval period of torturing device.

All of them were so beautiful and sharp. but there is one thing that caught Rei's attention, something that is very different from the others, and that thing is none other than the night rose. a ring with a rose on its top, the rose is like a royal purple, it glows beautifully as Rei were being mesmerized by it.

" I... i want to touch it... i want to wear it " Being tempted by the ring, she tried to put it on into her finger.

The ring was big and has the size of an adult's finger at first, but after Rei wore it, it became small that Rei couldn't remove no matter what she do.

" Oh no!?... mother and father will be mad at me if they knew that i wear this ring!? " Afraid that her parents might get angry, she tried pulling it off desperately, she look's arround and saw a can of oil, she came closer to it and putted some oil on her finger, but no matter how hard she tried she still couldn't take out the ring on her finger. It's as if, it turns into a part of her skin.

" Huh?... ohh!?... Rei!.. how did you get here?! " A woman wearing a dark purple dress came out from the other door, she look's at her daughter who's struggling to take off the ring. noticing on what have happened, she finally understood the situation.

" Mo... mother?!... i- i am terribly sorry... i- " Rei tremble's in fear, her reaction is like a cat who's been drowned from a cold bowl of water. she looks adorable when scared. her mother came to her side and calmly patted her head.

" So now you know?... or is this the thing that you only know? " She ask with a calm voice while wiping the teary eye of her daughter.

She didn't wait for her daughter to respond when she begun to speak. Telling everything to her daughter.

" Rei... now that you were choosen by that ring, you must bare the responsibility of becoming an assassin like me and your father " With a serious look on her face, she told about the ring's origin.

The ring was first originated when her great grandmother and auntie from the year of the Spaniard colonization, the family of her great grand mother were nothing but an ordinary commoner who lives a quiet life in a village, but everything change after she met the love of her life who is an assassin. The man is quite handsome and kind towards her, he always visited the young lady with a banquet of beautiful roses, flirting and telling joke to her every time day met and have a date. As they get to know each other more and more, they finally decided to get married and then two beautiful daughter's were born. one is named rose marie while the other is roasia. such a lovely name that originated from the flower that her husband alway's gifted to her.

But their peaceful life ended when roasia died from the hand's of one of the Spaniard noble. both of them felt hatred, despair and hopeless, the man went to avenge her daughter while the mother decided to create a contract with the devil and sold her soul in order to save her daughter. her prayer's were answered, but instead of bringing her daughter back from the dead, the unknown demon decided to turned the body and soul of roasia into an artifact with a power capable of destroying a kingdom, the ring has an unknown type of metal with a dark rose at the top of it.

And over the pass decade, the ring started to change its colour to whoever the owner of it. now that rei was chosen by the ring, she will need to abandon her ordinary life and will take over her family business that was passed by the other generation's.

After the tale ended, rei just look at her mother with a sad look on her face, she felt like crying just by listening to her mother's past relative's.

" That... is very sad... i felt sorry for my great great great auntie and grandma from the past... " Rei's said while facing the floor.

" It is ok my dear, i think that they are very proud of having a great grand daughter like you... * Muwaah~ * " Her mother said while kissing her cheeck.

" And with that said, this is our family's treasure and it look's like your grand mother from the past have acknowledge you to become one of us... although that ring didn't reacted when i was the one who use it, and i think that you are the only one who's capable of awakening it's power now that it became apart of your finger~" Her mother said while rubbing off the oil from from her daughter's hand with a handkerchief.

" Then... i'll do my very best in order to make my great grand mother happy! " Rei said enthusiastically.

And from that day on, her parent's focus on educating her even more. they made her mentally and emotionally intelligence. physically strong and other more. rei also did her best as she is an obedient girl who has a parent complex and would do anything that they told her to do.

After 20 year's she successfully reign over the top, became the no. 1 assassin that lurk's behind the shadow's. and obtained the title " Harbinger of death " for killing thousands of human.  Everything that she promised to her mother when she was young became a reality... or so she thought.

Just a year after her parent's left on a vacation, both of them died cause by an explosion on the ship. she became an depressed and heartless after the tragety, with her lover abondoning her and cheated on her with the female boss who took her after she became alone. soon after, they captured Rei and tortured her for a month before they finally ended up bringing her at the forest to eliminate her.

And so at the silent night, near at the center of the forest. Two individual were not so visible but only a silhouette of their body can be seen, one of them is standing while the other one is lying on the ground.

" Back from the they you are very nice... swishh, oh how i miss those day's were you are still an ediot who has a parent complex. " A man wearing a black cloak and a mask said while grinning.

" You... bastard... " Rei who's still suffering from the pain utterly said. she struggle to moved as the man we're kicking her stomach.

" kauhh!??! "

" Hahaha... ahah i can't... your face look's very adorable when you are suffering... just like that slut ahahahha!! " The man laugh as he keep's on hurting and kicking rei. then suddenly he stop when his phone begun to rang.

" Hello?.. auh yes i'm almost done... i just need to kill her now and... yes?... ok, ok don't worry i'll be there for about an hour so just wait for me. " He said with a smile as he hang up the phone call and turned his face to look at rei's miserable state.

" And so where am i again?... as yes, good for you that you can see your parent's in hell now... oh well, since you are about to die. I'll tell you a secret that only the men who's loyal to our boss knew about it. " With a wide smile that reach his ear, he enthusiastically said like crazy on how they murdered her parent's.

" You see, your parent's didn't actually died on the ship but rather... we killed them... ahaha "

" Wha-what? " With a little strength that she have, she asked in a complete shock.

" Ahahah!!.. I can't believe you still have the strength to ask... well, anyway. Your mother was quite beautiful and sexy even at the age of 30, so what do you think we did? "

" No... stop... please... don't "

" Yes that's right!... your mother received a rough gang **** from me and the other... she was quite strong and we couldn't fight back but after showing her your photo and threatened her that we will kill you, she beg and beg for mercy as she wish that she will offer herself just to keep you safe... ahahah!!.. man what a slut " The man still didn't end his story, meanwhile rei is starting to get more angry and mad as he keeps hearing the horrible story from the man infront of him.

" Shut up... shut up... shut up!?!? " Rei finally reach her limits, even after learning to control her emotion, she still failed to calm her self. with a terrible faith that comes to her mother, all the negative emotions was gathered and suck by her ring without her even noticing.

( If only I wasn't badly injured... I will ravagely cut this piece of shit into pieces!!! )

Her thoughts and will of revenge was so strong that it reach through the ring on her finger.

" Question: Do you desire power? "

( Yes!!.... If I can have power... i can avenge for my mother!? )

Due to her being corrupted by the negative emotions, she didn't think twice and just answered immediately. She didn't even notice that her ring was talking to her.

" Alert: The individual Rei E. Alvariz have succeeded to gathered 20,000 soul for nourishment.... all the negative emotions from the individual Rei E. Alvariz have been successfully collected. "

" Alert: The night rose will now undergoing evolution... successful... the night rose

have successfully evolved into Scientia. "

" Alert: All the virtue series have been successfully corrupted. "

The ring continued to speak as rei is slowly losing her strength, and was barely able to move her mouth to grasp some air.

" Yes that's right, she look awfully disgusting while being **** you know that... huh?... oii! " The man was still talking, he only notice the sudden change of the atmosphere when he saw that rei is no longer talking.

" Man, are you dead for sure?... Oh well, i think I've already talked enough... anyway i gotta go so goodbye and tell this to your mother in hell that... she's quiet delicious for an old woman~ ehehehe " the man disgustingly lick his lips as he throw a jar of a gasoline and a few bomb. He walk away and ride at his motor cycle, after reaching a few kilometres away from the forest, he click the switch for the bomb to explode.

*Boom!!*

As the gasoline alongside with the bomb exploded. The silent forest turned into a burning hell. without even looking back, the man finally left the scene. Leaving the body of rei to burnt and die as the fire continued to spread.

( Dammit!!... I can't... move my body!!... it hurts.... it's painful!!... my skin is burning!? )

Rei shouted in her head as she was slowly being swallowed by the hellish fire. she struggled to crawl but her body is being burnt into crisp that she only have a few minutes to live.

" My whole life was a fucking lie!!... I trusted them all and this is how they returned the favor!?... screw you all!??... If I were to be given a chance to live... I will... i will... kill.... you... all.. " The fire have finally burned her whole body, as much as she struggled to live, the item on her ring finally decided to take an action on it's own.

Even thought that it has evolved only a few minutes ago, it still tried it's best to save it's creator.

" Alert: All the traumatizing memories will be temporarily blocked... successful. "

The entity said with her voice so blank. It's like she's trying to erased the very dangerous memories that would mentally brake her master.

" Alert: Soul Crest have been successfully obtained... preparing for reincarnation... successful. "

At the end of her word's, a bright glowing crystal ball suddenly appeared aboved the burnt body of rei, it glowed and glows brighter as it reach the sky, after a second of levitation, the crystal ball then begun to explode like fireworks exploding at the end of the year. making the people from bellow look up at the bright and beautiful blood moon.
