Steps

After that certain passionate moment, the two still sat down on the floor as the galaxy projector continued to display the shining stars. The two reminisced of the old days. Garen lovingly stared at Liliane when it was her turn to talk, her smile lifts up his spirit and he simply felt so much love from that simple moment.

After a while, Liliane have grown drowsy maybe because she was still tired and deprived of sleep from last night. He noticed the small dark bugs under her eyes and her eye lids were in the soft hue of rosey-red. Garen still loved her even more when he saw that state of her, those marks are because of worry that Liliane went through because of him. The dark bugs showing that she couldn't sleep and the redish lids that was swolen from the crying.

Garen witnessed her lashes softly fluttered along with its shadow that casts upon her cheeks. It slowly shuts down and she eventually fell asleep. Garen's moment was stucked at that. Garen by her side, Liliane resting her head on his shoulder, and the beautiful scenery made from the starts that surrounded the room. Garen reflected and tried to think of a lot of things.

"Liliane wouldn't tell me still in spite of our long conversation but, I know that something is up..." Garen thought to himself as he gaze upon Liliane sleeping by his side, her head rested on his shoulders.

[Yuhan Verse Sent a Message]

A small voice from the bracelet they gave, notified Garen. Garen clicks on the notification screen and a glowing blue panel was projected from it.

[At midnight, come to my space if you want to be trained.]

There was no need to hesitate if it can make sure to protect his precious Lili.

Upon the small movements that Garen made, Liliane woke up.

"Garen?..." Liliane mumbles and her beautiful lashes fluttered with her drowsy eyes.

Garen softly hummed as he smiled and kissed her forehead. Garen heard Liliane's heart and it was peaceful. That moment itself was peace but, to keep peace, some things must be done---

Loud Screams echoed along with the noises of electric sparks, zapping in a rhythm within the confiment level of Yuhan's space.

"AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Garen's loud voice were like sharp roars from the pain.

He is currently being trained to control his alpha abilities at will. Not a hint of beastic appearance should be seen in spite of continuously activating his ability to regenerate his cells and make sure to stay aliive.

"Raise it to five hundred volts." Yuhan commanded behind a screen.

Raiji seemed hesitant and nervous as they all witness Garen's golden eyes glows profusely.

"This is too much..." Raiji says but, Yuhan simply clicked his tongue and frowned as he continued to watch over Garen.

It is indeed true. There are no more pupil showing in Garen's eyes. Simply, the golden glow escaping from it. He is barely conscious and was electricuted so much that blood is bleeding from his eyes and nose.

"We have to raise it to five hundred." Yuhan says but, a loud banging sound halted them.

Mishel came with an angered face and Raiji immediately stopped the operations.

"Yuhan! He's just a kid!" Mishel confronted Yuhan who also faced her with an intimidating gaze.

"So was I. I handled it before, he's the supreme. He could handle it better!" Yuhan stated and Mishel was not shaken.

Mishel was even more determined to go against Yuhan and in return, Yuhan's crimson eyes gradually shifts to his golden eyes with bloody streaks.

"That wouldn't work on me. You know that." Mishel says.

"Yuhan, do you really want to do to others the cruel things that the verse did to you?"

"What about Liliane? What if she finds out about this?" Mishel added.

Yuhan glared with beastic gaze at Mishel but, he knew it was futile so he eventually stopped. The man breathed deep once and tried to regain his thoughts. This group is soft to their youngest, Liliane and without a doubt, they all care for her.

Yuhan knows well that Liliane wouldn't want this young alpha to be in any sort of harm. Liliane deeply cares for Garen and would surely feel heartbroken once she found out of what kind of training Yuhan was placing Garen into.

By this moment, Garen was already regaining conscious. His sharpened senses could hear the conversation on the other side of the screen and attentively listened.pp Garen was barely able to move as he still feels the stinging pain all over his veins. He stayes quiet and let the conversation naturally reach to his ears.

"If you are jealous and hate-" Mishel was trying to talk to Yuhan but was cut off by the man himself.

"I AM. But, I'm not blinded by it." Yuhan's eyes reflected complete coldness.

"Liliane is my precious little sister." Yuhan says as if declaring the reason behind his actions. Saying that Liliane is someone precious to him and wishes that no harm to go on her way.

Garen could understand Yuhan because they deeply care for the same person and Garen knew well who harmed Liliane so much. It was him who harmed Liliane. Yuhan must be frustrated to try and help a scum like him so, he is rather thankful.

"Liliane is our precious girl and Garen is her mate."

"Yuhan, the boy clearly loves Liliane too. He is not at fault." Mishel tries to soothe Yuhan.

Yuhan's breathing goes deeper as his frustrations are.

"Do you not remember the state Liliane was?... She almost died because of this guy!" Yuhan screams it all out and Garen felt the pain from Yuhan's voice.

In that moment, Garen saw shards of memories flashing in his mind. It was the very same scenery where he saw blood dripping from young Liliane's neck. Her blood mixed with her own tears and there was this extreme fear in her eyes that stared upon him. The sensations were so real and painful that it was getting hard to breath.

"YUHAN HIS VITALS ARE TURNING ABNORMAL" Raiji alarmed.

Yuhan immediately went to the controls and activated the metal bracelet on Garen's wirst and injected tranquilizers. Garen's vitals are rising too much.

"GAREN RINE, CALM YOURSELF." Yuhan shouts.

Garen's vision showed the image of the girl, trembling and crying as her blood continued to flow and dye the floor. Her lips motioned words that he couldn't hear. Garen desperately wanted to reach to her but, Liliane's image shattered to glass shards.

After witnessing the girl, Garen's vision was dyed into a screen of blood.
