Scrolling through the list, he could not decide what to get. Some of these abilities could easily negate the effects of his curse. Even overpower it.

One such ability was the Blessing of Athena. It could easily overpower Born during the Eclipse.

The panel blurred before showing him a filtered list. Still, there were too many abilities and he couldn't decide what to get. All abilities ranged from Rank: F to B.

Since he did not have the time nor brain cells to open every ability and read its description, he asked the system for help, "Recommend me something that is useful for my current situation."

The panel glitched. Only two abilities were shown on the screen now.

Both abilities were good, he wanted both since they would basically negate his curse but since he only had one voucher, he had to settle with one for now.

He thought about it deeply. If he chose Genius then he would have a better chance at leveling skills fast, or he could be a tank and focus on his body with Earth Warrior Physique, which was not a bad ability but he would be stuck with only Earth element magic for a while.

Although he was thinking about both options, his mind had already decided what to choose.

"System, buy Genius." He said, firmly. With this ability, he could learn many skills and train them at a reasonably fast rate.

Having a decently leveled skill for every situation was a good thing to have. However, he would not be physically strong enough to beat his enemies head-on.

Although, being able to overpower his enemies with raw power was his favorite thing to do in games. This was, nevertheless, real life.

Making sound decisions and having a trump card to rely on if things go south, would be more useful than just going around beating them up.

Moreover, there were monsters in this world. He was not sure if he could take them on by only relying on his physical power. Not yet anyway.

"Good. Now I can get stronger a bit faster." He began making plans. The memories of the previous Darius helped a lot in making future designs.

After a while, he was done making a solid plan for the immediate future. For that, he needed to access the shop again and look for a specific skill. If the system had that skill, it would make his life much easier.

"System, open the shop." As soon as the translucent white panel appeared, he tapped the Skills tab.

A loading screen made its way onto the panel.

He just hoped that the skill he was looking for would be available. So, he quickly began to scroll through the list looking for that specific and life-saving skill, while also keeping note of any interesting skill that he came across.

Thankfully, he had luckily found what he was looking for. Seeing the price, he did not waste time and purchased it.
