New Terra

Three years ago in a futuristic world, a planet inhabited by a winged alien race emerges out of nowhere before humanity, introducing magic to the world. This new intelligent race, known as "Angels" for their mastery of magic and destructive capabilities, threatens to bring humanity to the brink of extinction. Fashuel, a 17-year-old boy who lost his family at the beginning of the war between these two worlds, joins the army with the sole purpose of avenging the death of his loved ones at the hands of an Angel. Piloting the Xazers, magic-powered flying machines, Fashuel quickly becomes humanity's best hope for survival. However, one decision will change not only his life, but also the fate of both worlds.

Prologue

Magic, a concept invented in the Middle Ages long ago as a way to explain supernatural events. Nowadays, we know that many of the things they experienced were simply chemical or physical processes, and according to science, everything has an explanation.

If you perform magic nowadays, often you'll be questioned because people are skeptical of this concept. Even if you demonstrate its truth, they'll always believe there's a trick behind it.

If one day magic became real, how would people react? And what would be the change it would bring to society? Besides... what would come with it.
