8. Grand party

In the grand and opulent castle of Hell, Lucifer lounged on his throne, a smile playing on his lips. The room was an eclectic mix of grandeur and whimsy, rubber ducks scattered around as a peculiar personal touch. Suddenly, a small fly buzzed into the room, carrying an envelope.

Lucifer curiously took the envelope and opened it. The letter inside was written in an elegant yet chaotic script:

*Hello Brother,

Hope you come to my grand party tomorrow, and bring Lilith with you. It's tomorrow.

From your dear and crazy Beelzebub.*

Lucifer raised an eyebrow in surprise. It was the first time that Beelzebub extended personal invitations, especially not to him. The notion of a grand party intrigued him. Deciding it was worth the diversion, he made up his mind to attend.

Meanwhile, similar envelopes found their way to the other deadly sins. Satan and Belphegor both dismissed the invitations outright. Belphegor, still unconscious from Beelzebub's earlier attack, had no choice in the matter, while Satan simply couldn't be bothered, dismissing the event as a waste of time.

The other sins, however, responded with interest. They wrote back their approvals and handed the envelopes to the flies that had brought them. These messenger flies, buzzing with purpose, promptly returned to Beelzebub with the replies.

The anticipation for the grand event built steadily. Beelzebub, who had personally orchestrated this intricate web of invitations, stepped out of her room with a gleeful smile. Her plans were coming together perfectly.

Moments later, Pandemonica emerged from her quarters, a shadow of discomfort etched across her face. She had recently endured a punishment from Beelzebub for disclosing her escape from Belphegor. The memory was still fresh and vivid in her mind. Beelzebub's punishment had been as imaginative as it was cruel—flies in her mouth, crawling inside her body. Even though the flies were gone now, the sensation lingered, a haunting reminder.

Pandemonica steeled herself with a resolution not to make any further mistakes. As she walked down the hall, the Cerberus girls, always bubbling with energy, jumped around her excitedly.

"How did it go? Did you get punished?" they asked, their eyes wide with curiosity and a hint.

Pandemonica forced a smile, nodding slightly. "Yes, I did. And I don't intend to experience that again."

The Cerberus girls giggled, clearly entertained by the notion. Beelzebub's unique way of running her household was an endless source of fascination and amusement for them.

As preparations for the party reached fever pitch, Beelzebub watched over the hustle and bustle with satisfaction. Every detail was falling into place. Her castle, normally a hive of decadence, was transforming into the ultimate party venue. The grand halls were adorned with lavish decorations, tables groaned under the weight of sumptuous food, and the air was thick with the promise of revelry.

On the other side of Hell, Lucifer and Lilith prepared for their visit. Lucifer couldn't help but feel a mixture of curiosity and concern. Beelzebub had always been a wildcard, her parties legendary for their excess and unpredictability. Yet, there was an underlying tension, a sense that something more was at play.

As they prepared, Lucifer glanced at Lilith. Hell had changed her dramatically, but she still held onto a semblance of control, a flicker of the person he loved. He took her hand, a silent reassurance passing between them.

The day of the party dawned, and Beelzebub's mansion was a whirlwind of activity. Guests began arriving, the atmosphere electric with anticipation. Beelzebub, resplendent in her regal attire, greeted each guest personally, her excitement barely contained.

...

Lucifer and Lilith arrived, their presence commanding immediate attention. Beelzebub greeted them with open arms, her smile wide and welcoming. "Brother, Lilith! I'm so glad you could make it."

Lucifer nodded, his eyes scanning the opulent surroundings. "It's quite the event you've put together, Beelzebub."

Beelzebub's grin widened. "You haven't seen anything yet."

As the party unfolded, it became clear why Beelzebub's gatherings were so infamous. The food was exquisite, the music intoxicating, and the atmosphere electric. Yet, beneath the surface, there was an edge of madness, a hint of the chaos that Beelzebub thrived on.

The other sins—Leviathan, Asmodeus, and Mammon—arrived in due time, each bringing their own unique presence to the party. Leviathan, with his serpentine elegance, mingled easily, his eyes always calculating. Asmodeus, the embodiment of lust, reveled in the opulence, drawing attention wherever he went. Mammon, ever the avaricious one, couldn't help but admire the sheer excess of it all, his fingers itching with the desire to claim something for himself.

Throughout the night, Beelzebub kept a close eye on her guests, savoring every moment. The presence of her siblings added an extra layer of satisfaction. She had orchestrated this event to perfection, and the night was still young.

Pandemonica, now in her element as the party's organizer, moved through the crowd with efficiency and grace. Despite the lingering discomfort from her punishment, she performed her duties flawlessly, determined not to incur Beelzebub's wrath again.

As the night deepened, the party reached its zenith. The revelry was at its peak, a whirlwind of indulgence and excess. Beelzebub watched from her throne, a glass of wine in hand, her eyes gleaming with a wild, almost feral light.

Lucifer, observing his sister, felt a pang of concern. Beelzebub had always been unpredictable, but tonight she seemed almost unhinged. He wondered if there was any way to reach her, to bring her back from the brink of madness.

But for now, the party continued, a testament to Beelzebub's insatiable hunger for excess and indulgence.
