Bonie nodded her head before she turned to strode away but Nolan marched right up before her and blocked her path.
"Is there anything that I can help you? Mr Carson" Bonie sounded distant and polite.
Nolan calmly stared at the fair, small face in front of him. Bonie began to feel unsettled under Nolan's gaze. He had deep eyes with a gaze that seemed like pools of endless starry night.
Bonie made a move, as though she was about to leave.
"Did you get home that night?"
Bonie stiffened for a moment. Immediately, she understood the meaning behind his question. She merely stood quietly on the spot wordlessly before she finally responded, "Mr Carson, We are adults. We both knew that it didn't mean anything to us".
Nolan's brows knitted tightly together when he heard that and he pressed his lips together unhappily.
"It didn't mean anything to you?" He asked in a deep and alluring voice as he closed the gap between them.
"Bonie Green, Are you someone who kiss anyone and so chill?" His casual voice seemed to have a hint of tease in it. Nolan saw the dark clouds that gathered in her luminous eyes.
"So What? Shall we go out?" Bonie smirked.
"Why can't we try?" His voice devoid of any emotion.
Bonie squinted her sharp round eyes. "Is Mr. Carson kiss any woman and try to get luck with them?" Her lips twitched indifferently.
Nolan's face darkened, and he was seemingly vexed. He lowered his head before he took another glance at Bonie, who had already left.

"Miss Leila, Please come to CEO room right now. Sir would like to talk with you" Leila received a phone call from Julia.
Leila was feeling slightly tired at that point. "What's up with this man? I am busy too" Leila mumbled with distaste expression. She checked her reflection in the mirror before she step out from her office.
"Leila Green" It was a voice she would recognize even in the depths of dream. While pretending not to hear him, Leila increased her pace.
Leila looked at the direction of the elevator and step inside quickly.
"Leila, stop right there!" With just a few strides, Barry was already inside the elevator.
"Are you deaf?" Barry asked with a scoff.
Leila glanced at him briefly before simply looking away, not having any intention of talking to her.
"Leila Green, You are really good in acting innocent and naive!" Barry smirked. "Don't forget that I am your Department Manager" Barry's face shifted.
Leila glanced at him mockingly. "Because you keep asking me answerless questions!" Leila sounded annoyed.
"Why is it answerless? Don't play tricks with me! Because of you, I keep waking up in the middle of the night" Barry shot her a steely look.
Leila thought this man is laughable, unbelievable and even.
"Are you the one who warned me not to tell....?" His words trailed off when Leila cut him off impatiently.
"Give it a rest! Aren't you even tired?" Leila said in fed up tone. A 'ding' sound rang out as the elevator reached its destination. Leila walked out of the elevator with a calm and composed expression.
"That annoying girl...!" Barry frowned.

When Leila arrived at the entrance of Nicholas office, a woman angrily stormed out of his office. It was Belle, who had an ugly expression on her face. She slightly pushed against Leila's shoulder as she walked by.
"That crazy girl....!" Leila folded her arms in front of her chest watching her arrogant back.
Leila calmed herself, squared her shoulders and knocked on the door. She walked in only when Nicholas gave her permission.
Leila sweep her eyes across the room. A tall and broad figure with an extraordinary aura stood; he was dressed in a white shirt and a black suit. He carried a calm and domineering presence that made everyone put respectable distance from him.
"Have a seat." Nicholas nodded at the sofa opposite him. Leila obediently walked towards the seat in front of his desk and sat down.
"Take it!" Nicholas handed a cheque to her.
Her gaze flickered. She only glanced at the cheque on the table without any intention to take it.
"Is it not enough?" His long legs were crossed as he looked at Leila without any emotion. He smoothly loosened his ties, "Please take it, Miss Green".
Her eyelashes slightly drooped as it cast an aggrieved shadow over her face. Composing herself, a smile flashed into her face. "Thank you Sir for your politeness. But I couldn't accept the money. As I promise, I will try to be your dutiful girlfriend for three months". Her lips curled into the faintest smile as she commented.
Something seemed to have flickered across Nicholas eyes, but it happened so quickly that Leila was unable to see clearly.
His eyes became sharper as he seemed to appraise her. However, he smiled slightly after a while. "Sorry, I disturbed you".
"Can I leave now?" Leila asked.
"Sure... " His quiet voice was husky and seductive.
