Jason parked in front of his apartment. He got out and walked to the other side. He opened the door and picked up the now sleeping Annabelle in his arms.

Jason struggled to open the door but he eventually did. He dumped her bag unto the couch before heading to his room.

Jason gently dropped Annabelle on the bed and watched as she curled herself up into a ball. He looked at her for a while then proceeded to remove her jewelry so she could sleep comfortably. After tucking her properly in his bed he stood straight and watched her.

' She looks cute when she sleeps ' he thought and smiled. He frowned when he realized what he had just thought. He brushed all thought of her from his mind.

Jason went to the bathroom to freshen up. He came back fully dressed in his pajamas.

He glanced at the sleeping girl and then left the room.

Jason was met with the sound of a phone ringing. The tone did not sound like his so it had to be Annabelle's phone. He walked to the couch and picked up the phone.

It was a call from Annabelle's mother. He hissed not knowing whether to pick up or ignore. He decided to pick up and inform her of the where about of her daughter.

" Anna why took you so long " came the worried voice of a woman. " Anyway when are you coming home it's getting late" she added.

" Annabelle is with me Mrs. Watson " Jason said in his usual cold tone.

Mrs. Watson panicked when she heard a male voice instead of her daughter's.

" Who are you and what are doing with my daughter " Beatrice asked worried.

" Mrs. Watson it's me Jason " he said.

" Jason!! What happened to Annabelle " Beatrice was still a little worried. " She just drank a bit of alcohol and is drunk, so I brought her to my place and she is currently asleep " he explained in a go. Beatrice felt at ease that Annabelle was with Jason.

Even if they never got along, she knew Jason would never harm Annabelle. Aside them being mates in school since childhood, their families are also close hence the reason why she is not worried.
