Important Words and Names

Scraps is an old mechanic living on the desert planet of Polasty(Pole-uh-steigh) who primarily fixes spaceships with the help of his adopted child Hermes a.k.a. Socks. He also has a daughter named Athena. Scraps fought in the Intergalactic War and lost a leg during it. He managed to make a prothestic out of scraps which gave him his nickname. During the war he saved a Tharian civilian from being killed, which caused him to get a dishonorable discharge. Afterwards, he dedicated his life to fixing machines and helping others.

Hermes is a young man adopted by Scraps after he was found in an abandoned spaceship accompinied by his young sister, Athena, on the desert planet of Polasty. His goal is to get medicine from the planet Comasyn for his sister.

Athena is the younger sister of Hermes, and adopted daughter of Scraps. He was born with a condition Diselapholia, which leads to her pure white hair and extremely pale skin.

Diselapholia is a rare disease that weakens most body parts and drains nutrients quickly, leading to an almost albino appearence and frail, fragile structure. In severe cases it can lead to complete paralysis or death.

Polasty is a sand planet located third from the Sun in the Keger System. While there are still large deserts inhabited by carnivorous creatures, most of the planet is either taken up by large cities or small villages.

Comasyn is a barren, stormy planet located fifth from the Sun in the Keger System. The inhabitants consist of Ankhans. The most common paths that the people of Comasyn take are a nomadic lifestyle or selling items or creatures on the black market.

Ankhans are purple beetle-like humanoids with three eyes meant to see completely in all three planes. They originate from the planet Comasyn.

Holo-Coins are the currency used in many places both inside and outside the Keger System. Most planets use them if they are able, however some third world planets have not become technologically advanced enough to have the proper equipment to use Holo-Coins.
