Master of Holes

Despite Vice's grumbling, the plan went on without a hitch. Not a day after they slipped in the scrambler, Davi walked into the kitchen, and after checking the laundry room found the grey bucket missing.

He went back to the bedroom and commed Yunmi.

"The scrambler is in now," he told her. "Do your thing."

"I know, I had it set to ping as soon as it was moved. I'm accessing the network now. It's slow work, and I don't want to make a mistake. I'll talk later."

Davi left her to it and went back to the bedroom where Vice was entertaining Melissa by playing cards with her.

"Are you sure you've never played before? You're very good at this." Melissa and Vice were sitting cross-legged on the rug with a slew of cards in front of them.

"No. Cards are so analog," Vice said. "Way before my time."
