The Cursed Kitsune

Suki had awakened and got prepared to leave out. She grabbed her collar and put it on. It had a little dogtag on it with her name on it. She heard the sound of crashing and went to see what was going on. Her ears raised when she heard meowing. She walked to Kana's door and noticed she was chasing a little toy mouse that I had got for her. Suki barked and Kana jumped up then turned around quickly.

"S-Suki! You scared me!" Kana said as she walked over to Suki and nuzzled her cheek.

Suki blushed and closed one eye. "I want you to hang out with me today."

"Oh? Really? Let me get ready then!" Kana said happily then hurried back into her room to get ready.

Suki walked down the stairs and noticed some construction workers in the cafe.

"We will have it done within a few days, Mr. Ka-"

Suki barked and everyone looked at her. I looked back then smiled and walked to her. I rubbed her head then her ear twitched. "Who are these villains with hard hitting weapons? Have they come to spy on us?"

"No they are construction workers. They haven't come to spy on us at all." I chuckled.

Aya looked at Suki and hid behind Kyorise. "She's a bit scary.."

Kyorise smiled and looked at her. "Don't worry there. She's a big baby when you get to know her. She wouldn't hurt any of us, in fact she's pretty overprotective."

Aya looked up at Kyorise the back at Suki. She nodded then relaxed a little.

Kana hurried down the stairs in a blue hoodie and blue jeans. She walked to Suki and smiled. "Ready!"

"Are you two headed out?" I asked.

"Mhm, we are hanging out today." Suki nodded. "We will be back later, Master."

"Bye bye, Master!" Kana waved and smiled then followed Suki.

"Those two have become good friends. Pretty sweet to see." Kyorise smiled.

"I had a feeling those two would've connected at some point. Both of them have huge imaginations, they like a lot of fantasy stuff and they are both almost always found together reenacting their favorite scenes from different anime." I chuckled.

"A match made in heaven." Kyorise laughed softly.

.....

Suki and Kana walked together along a path, headed to the park area. Kana saw a bird on the ground and wanted to pounce on the bird, but Suki grabbed her hoodie and stopped her.

Kana giggled then looked at Suki. "I have a question."

"Mhm?" Suki looked at Kana.

"Why do Momo and Miki always fight? Do they hate each other?" Kana asked.

"They don't hate each other. Despite them always fighting, they are actually really close friends. They care deeply for each other, nothing can truly break their bond. They both want the same thing, the love and affection of Master." Suki explained.

"Ohh! If Master's affection is that good then I want to get his affection as well!" Kana smiled.

Suki nodded and kept strolling ahead with Kana walking beside her. They made it to the big tree in the park before Suki stopped and growled at someone. Kana looked around for who Suki was growling at then noticed a woman who's brown hair covered their face. The woman wore a white cloak and white boots. She had fox ears and a bushy fox tail.

"Who is she?" Kana asked.

Suki took a step back when she noticed the woman walking forward. She yelped and took Kana's hand then began to run away. The woman appeared in front of them at seemingly impossible speeds. Suki skidded forward before falling on her butt. She stood up quickly and looked afraid of the woman.

"Who are you?" Kana asked, trying to remain calm.

"Follow me." She said.

"Sorry, but we can't follow you without our master present. Oh! Look a fish!" Kana pointed.

"What?" The woman looked where Kana pointed and saw nothing then looked forward only to see Kana and Suki gone. She looked behind herself then noticed them running away. "Hey! Liar! Get back here! You need to help me please the Kitsune Goddess so she can get rid of my curse!"

Suki and Kana rushed inside the cafe and panted. Kyorise and I looked at them then I stood up and walked over to them.

"What's the matter with you two? Got in trouble? Who did you make angry?" I asked.

"No one! There's a crazy Fox Lady outside chasing us! Master help us please!" Kana whined.

I looked at Kyorise and she shrugged. I walked outside then noticed a woman in a white cloak and boots running towards the cafe. "Stop!"

She looked surprised then skidded forward then stopped. "W-Whoa!" She lost her balance the fell forward.

I looked down at her and held my hand out. She looked up at me and slowly took my hand. I helped her up then noticed a bit of her face. I poked her face and looked surprised. "T-That's fur..!"

"Sigh...Yeah. I'm not a typical neko. I'm cursed. I have the face of a fox, but my body remains the same other than fur covering my entire body and somtimes I-"

A puff of smoke appeared around her and I looked down, seeing her as a three tailed fox. She turned back into her normal form.

"Do that.." She sighed.

"Now that's a trick if I've ever seen one." I said then sighed and scratched the back of my head. "Alright, come inside."

Suki noticed the woman enter then howled loudly. "You let her in?! She's definitely trying to kill us!"

"Y-Yeah! She tried to get us to follow her to our doom!" Kana said, panicked.

"Don't mind them for right now. What you did caused them to be startled, but they will eventually calm down. Anyway can we get a name?" I asked.

"My name is Hoshi." She said as her tail swayed a bit.

"Alright, Hoshi. Would you like some tea?" I asked.

"Ah..sure." She looked at me.

"That'll be $1.50." I said.

Hoshi's cheeks became slightly rosey. Her tail swayed more. "I don't...have money."

"I see. That's alright." I smiled and nodded then went to pour some tea in a cup. I came back and handed her the cup.

She took the cup and looked a bit astonished. "But-"

"Welcome to your new job. You've got to pay for scaring Suki and Kana. Pretty messed up you intimidated them and even chased them." I said.

"Sigh...I knew this was coming. Fine, I will work. I've been doing my job for over two years now. I haven't changed back and I mostly never will." Hoshi sighed then sat down on one of the stools.

"Luckily for you we have construction going on for a few days so you won't be starting until after they finish. Enjoy your stay." I smiled then went outside to see Kyorise.

"Oh how the mighty have fallen." Miki laughed a bit, looking at Hoshi. "Weren't you called the Witch of Heavenly Bay?"

Hoshi turned around to see Miki behind her. "And you are?"

"Number one cat girl in the cafe, Miki!" Miki said then did a cute little pose.

"Don't get ahead of yourself big tits. You haven't earned that title yet." Momo rolled her eyes, walking passed her.

"Say what you want, klutz. We all know you aren't getting that title." Miki said.

"Oh? You dare to underestimate me?" Momo turned around to look at Miki.

"I wouldn't waste my time estimating you in general." Miki rose an eyebrow and crossed her arms.

Momo's right eye twitched out of annoyance. "Oh...so that's how it is huh? You think you are better than me?"

"Because I am." Miki smirked. "Master likes me more and even loves me enough to let me sleep with him. I don't see...you in bed with him."

"I'll wipe that big ego from you. You are really getting annoying now." Momo hissed and the fur on her take puffed out.

"You want another butt whoopin'? I'll be glad to deliver Klutz!" Miki hissed.

Hoshi, Suki, and Kana watched the two girls taunt each other and hiss at each other.

"Is this a normal occurrence?" Hoshi asked.

"Yep." Suki answered.

Miki's meows became a little more hostile and Momo was getting a bit more amped up. They glared at each other then attacked one another.

"Oh! Oh my God!" Hoshi stood up quickly. "They-"

"Enough!" I said walking inside. "Both of you to your rooms!"

Miki and Momo stopped fighting and panted then turned away from each other and retreated to their rooms.

"How was that not surprising to you all?!" Hoshi asked.

"They do it every other week. At this point we know what to expect." Suki said.

"That was shocking to me! I've never physically seen them fight!" Kana said.

"They are very territorial of me. Both of them want my love and attention and I give it to them equally, but they still fight over it. I need some way to help them squash this beef they have." I said as I thought to myself.

"How about you ignore them both? Obviously it starts when you show them affection. How about ignoring them for a point of time?" Hoshi suggested.

"That will destroy them." I said.

"No it's called tough love. Ignore them until they learn to get along all the time. You love them, they obviously love you. Show them a little tough love, it won't kill them." Hoshi said.

"Mmm...I'll think about it, but surely I can find a way to get them to make up without emotionally destroying them.." I said.

"Whatever you choose, just make sure it works." Hoshi said.
