Apologize

Oliver decided to buy 5 flowers, each for every loved one he'd lost, his mom, his dad, his sister, Yetta's mom, and lastly Yetta, he had to watch them all die and it definitely was too much to take but he still coped he wouldn't be able to bear it if he had to watch another person die.

He would apologize to Yetta for not visiting her earlier, apologize to his mom for not knowing her since she died during labour, to his father for being an unfilial son, his sister for not knowing her value earlier, to Yetta's mom for not being able to save the daughter she left behind.

He would apologize for every single thing he did and find a way to atone for his sins, afterall Yetta died because of him, all he needed to do after that was to find out how he became immortal and finally be able to die and meet Yetta again.

Austin insisted on going with him, he was actually confused when Oliver said he was going to visit his family's grave, was Oliver born here, how come he never knew, Austin couldn't help but think.

When they entered the graveyard they walked for a long time, it was like his family had been buried a long time ago, Oliver finally stopped at a grave, with the name 'Athena Riggs', luckily there was no date on the tomb otherwise Oliver would have been busted.

Then they stopped at the grave of man, who to Austin seemed like it would be Oliver's dad, Austin almost screamed when they stopped at another grave which belonged to a woman named 'sadie Riggs'.

"she's my sister, now calm down we still have two more grave's to visit"Oliver teased sensing Austin's shock, he tried to ease the tension in the air, he dragged Austin with him to visit Yetta's mom's grave.

"aren't we done yet, I wanna go home, it's already evening, when the hell did your family members die for their graves to be so far from the gate of the yard.

Oliver ignored Austin's bickering after giving him the 'i didn't force you to come with me, you insisted' look, Austin kept sulking till they halted at the final destination, Yetta's grave.

The inner battle Oliver was fighting within himself was so obvious at this point, after good 2 thousand years he was finally here to visit her grave, he crouched down as he place the flower on the grave, but I stead of getting up he just stayed like that, he started talking to the grave.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come to visit you for a long while, must have thought I abandoned you, right. But I'd never do so, I just hope you can forgive in sorry from the bottom of my heart, I wish I could change the hands of time, maybe I would have been able to save you and I wouldn't be suffering miserably here today.

After spending a whole hour talking to Yetta's grave he finally decided to give into Austin's pleas and they finally left for home, on their way back it started to rain heavily, they saw the house they saw the other day that they thought seemed abandoned.

They walked towards the house they opened the door, they walked in, they had to stay there for a while for the rain to stop, the inside of the house actually looked well kept like someone was living in it.

Oliver took a walk around the house, he came across a room, there was only one paper on the study table, he checked it and his jaw dropped but at the same time Austin called out his name saying the owner of the house was getting close to the door.

Oliver hurried back, as he sat on the chair near Austin the door opened, Freya stepped back outside and closed the door immediately she saw Oliver, why was he here, because of the rain, but how come, well the closer he is to me the more advantage I have to get him to fall inlove with her.

She walked back into her house, both Oliver and Austin stood up, Austin greeted her while Oliver just looked intently at her, she looked at Austin and then at Oliver, she found her voice and finally started talking.

"uhhm, you must be here because if the rain, you can stay here till it stops, no problem" Freya said and walked away from the living room, she saw Oliver's drawing on the table.

The way couldn't have seen it yet right, she quickly hid it and went back to the living room to accompany them, she wanted to try starting a conversation with them.

"my name's Freya, so why did you come from the city to the town"Freya asked and Oliver creased his brows but didn't say anything, while Austin was thinking of something to say.

"I'm Austin Wyatt and here is Oliver Riggs, I'm not sure, but this man over insisted on coming so I had no choice"Austin said making Freya laugh a little Austin was sneaking peeks at Oliver to make sure he was still seated dat from him and he would be okay from Oliver's death glares.

"and I remember telling someone I was fine and I didn't need their assistance, but the person insisted on following me"Oliver said as he cracked his neck in a damn intimidating way.

After the rain stopped, Freya offered to walk with them back to their apartment, she was going to take any chance to get closer to him, when they got to the apartment, Freya intentionally tripped herself.

Her original plan was to just injury a little bit and then they would take her in to clean the wound, but instead she hit her head, and lost consciousness, Oliver had to carry Freya into their guest room, he told Austin to get a night wear for a girl, and things Freya might need.

To him she might hold the secret to how he can end his life, for her to have a sketched of his 18 year old self, although he doesn't age, he looked mature now, so she might know something he can't let anything happen her.

He had to bath her and get her dressed, he out her to bed, after tucking her to bed, he went to get the medicine that would make her get better and prevent memory loss, he was looking for ways to give the drugs to her.

Then he remembered one time, Austin's wife was sick but she refused to take her medicine so Austin took the medicine into his mouth and kissed her forcefully making her take the drug.

He then decided to do something else, he couldn't just do that, he went to get a syringe, he removed the needle and sucked the medicine into the tube, he put it near her mouth and made her drink it that way.

When he was about to leave, a hand stopped him, he turned and saw it was Freya's, he sat beside the bed as she started twisting and turning, maybe she was having he usual nightmares.

He sat more comfortably on the bed, kept his legs under the duvet, Freya wrapped her arms around his waist as she snuggled around him, he turned stiff, this was the first time he had been this close to any woman.

The only women in his life were Austin's wife and mother, but his mother recently died, ever since Yetta's death he couldn't make up his mind to move on, so the present situation was kinda making him tense up.
