The New tattoo.

The sun has already risen Outside, the alarm clock that nobody remembered was set, went off ages ago.

Two bodies were tangled together on one bed, both missing a shirt and one missing something extra, his glasses.

As the annoying sound of the alarm continued, one large hand was desperately trying to reach the beeping device and turn it off, but when he miserably failed, Garrick pulled himself up from the bed.

However, something was hugging his torso like a teddy bear, someone actually, stopping him from moving freely.

Ned, not the slightest bit bothered by the annoying sound of the alarm, was still comfortably dreaming with his arms wrapped up around Garrick's body.

It was a sight that made The violet haired boy smile fondly at the Dark-purple haired boy.

Defeated in the sweetest of ways, Garrick laid back again next to Ned, he still can't believe he's next to him, on the same bed.

The boy from the woods, his first crush as little kid, was there.

A crush he never got over, never forgotten.

He wished he didn't have to do this, but the sound of the alarm was pushing him, So "Ned...hey Neddie." Garrick gently whispered while patting the doctor, "It's past 8 am, we need to get ready...Ned."

"Five More...minutes..Mmmh, Matilda~ stop acting like my parent." A still dreaming Ned, whined whenever Garrick tried waking him up.

"Lovely wake up~"

"Shut up Matilda!"

"I'm not Mati, I'm Garrick lovely."

Finally realizing it wasn't Matilda waking him Up, Ned slowly opened his eyes, without his glasses all he could see was the shape of someone with a bronze complexion.

He lifted his head a little, he could see now that bright violet hair even with no glasses.

"Shit, I slept here?" Ned muttered, "Good morning to you too lovely." Garrick replied with a big smile.

"Can you at least get me my glasses...I feel a bit dizzy."

Free to move at last, "Sure lovely." Garrick stood up and headed towards the living room, in a way or another, he was grateful Ned can't see the big dumb smile on his face.

Reaching the living room, He quickly grabbed the pair of glasses from the coffee table and headed back to his bedroom, doing his best to hide how happy he felt being the doctor's errand boy.

"Here."

"Thanks."

Suddenly, A strong knock on the door swept Garrick's attention away, "I'm going to see who's at the door! I'll be back!" he said leaving the bedroom quickly.

It took him few seconds to make it there and Open the door, but it happened before Yuuya would've knocked again, "Hey! good morning captain, oh wow! you got something on your face!" Yuuya greeted him with a mixture of odd expression.

"What's on my face? I don't get it?" Garrick replied, But he was pushed by a running Ned before he could get an answer, "Oh shit! Shit shit SHIT?! first day on the job and I'm already messing up!" Ned said as he ran out of the place and past Garrick and Yuuya, without even a proper hello or goodbye.

Yuuya was too stunned to speak, he didn't even want to question why the doctor just ran out of his commander's place shirtless, "Ah...Yuuya tell the others to get ready and head to the gate, is Kimberly gone yet?" Garrick said asking.

"Yeah Kim is already gone, Umm you know what!...I am sorry but you look weird as hell, you should really take a look at your face, I have no idea how to explain this." Yuuya replied.

Still confused, "Explain what?" Garrick asked.

Agu who just came by to find where his boyfriend disappeared to so suddenly, "Well sometimes, I wonder what his majesty sees in you Garrick?

Go wash your face and look at the mirror." Agu said before pulling Yuuya away from his collar.

"Hey? You guys are making a fuss about what now?" Stella popped out of nowhere startling Garrick like usual, "GAH?!... I swear everyone has it against me in this palace?! why can't you people just normally walk up to other people and say hi I'm here!

I just want to live one day without having to worry that somebody will literally comes out of nowhere to FREAK ME OUT!" Garrick said glaring at her.

"If it wasn't for your fighting skills commander, I don't think his Majesty would have made you a knight in the first place... can't believe you're his majesty's bodyguard!

And By the fucking way Garrick, what the hell is that on your face? did you get a new tattoo or something?...wait, it can't be that...Oh la-la!" Stella replied surprised.

Confused once again about what everyone is talking about, Garrick hurried to his bathroom mirror.

"What the..." looking back at his reflection, an obvious 'diamond' mark has magically found its place right under his right eye.

"A diamond!...Wait? that means!" a big smile popped on his face upon realizing what the mark was possibly symbolizing.

" Yes! it's gotta be him! Haha!" a moment he was happy, then suddenly anxiety creeped into him as well from the very same realization, " Oh no! what if he rejects me?!...wait he's not going to reject me, is he?we literally just ate each other's faces last night...but...he can still reject me! UGH NO!" Garrick spoke to himself.

...An hour or so later...

"You guys made me lose One hundred Golds you fucking idiot!" Matilda spoke complaining, she accidentally told Socorro earlier about Ned and Garrick, and her new mate requested the bet money or she'll expose them.

Matilda wasn't actually angry, it was just an opportunity for her to Tease Ned, "Why are you mad Mats?! you're literally rich As fuck Now sis, get over it!

Besides, you gave it to your mate...it's a good investment in the end, so don't act like you don't like spending money on people you love, I bet you're going to shower her Ass with gifts and money from now on!" Ned said.

"And Btw, i still can't believe Miss Belmonte said yes to you! we need to celebrate you officially being caged by a mate for life." Ned Added while wearing his white coat, he and Matilda were having Their talk in his new office.

But Something peaked Ned's curiosity all of the sudden, As he caught matilda sniffing the air from time to time, ever since she came to see him this morning, "Does something smell bad here? should I open the windows?" he asked.

"Not a bad smell, and it's coming from you.

Your pheromones are getting stronger Neds, The smell of ice cream is filling my nostrils.

Guess your heat is close by, don't forget to take some medicine soon enough." Matilda replied.

"SHIT?! I DIDN'T NOTICE!...I don't feel anything yet, why my first day at the job gotta be hard like this! Anyways thanks for the heads up Mats." Ned said.

Smiling, Matilda nodded, "You're welcome bestie...I remember my first day here was a disaster too, but things got better for me in the end, and it will be the same for you."

Noticing the visible happiness on his best friend's face, Ned smiled back " look at you acting all mushy like a School girl with a crush, it's been few hours since your mate accepted you and here you are! walking around with eyes shaped like hearts."

"I can't help it, you'll understand the vibe when you get your own mate Neds."

"Not going to happen, it's like a 1 in million chance that you actually found yours, it's impossible that I'll have a mate as well."

"You'll never know Neds...did you check yourself today? to make sure that your little 3am rendezvous with Garrick didn't leave a mark on either of you?"

"The only thing I'll be checking is these cupboards for some heat suppressants."

.....( Meanwhile).....

"Yes put it there...No no not you! I asked for roses not flowers and make sure they're red and white roses only...AND HEY! YOU! CAREFUL YOU MIGHT BREAK THAT!" Socorro was having a hard time trying to guide the servants decorating the ballroom, her perfectionist attitude made her a little less popular with the servants today.

"Miss Belmonte?" Lucius spoke softly as he bowed to the king's assistant, " His Majesty king Thorn, has arrived earlier than expected."

Her eyes went wide open, "Everyone continue your work here and Fast! I want the ballroom to be ready by sunset, please do your best!" Socorro ordered with a firm expression.

"Yes milady!" the servants all bowed for her as she left the ballroom with Lucius.

The moment they stepped outside, she began asking questions to the King's favorite errand boy "Are you sure he is here already? did his Majesty Thorn bring his assistant as well?"

" King Thorn is actually 'about' to be here, I suppose in few minutes, and yes his Assistant will be present as well, we have received a notice about that." Lucius replied.

"Have you informed your king?"

"Yes milady."

"Very well, I'm putting you in charge of supervising the ballroom preparations, I'm counting on you Lucius, you can go now." Socorro said patting his shoulder, Lucius bowed to her and went back to the ballroom to carry out her orders.

... Few Minutes Later...

All the knights including Garrick's unit lined-up at the gate, Muriel with his hair in a ponytail was surprisingly dressed in a suit, as he stood with Socorro by his side, waiting to greet king Thorn upon his arrival.

Ned convinced Matilda to sneak with him outside, he wanted to see who is this legendary King Thorn.

As the gates opened up in few seconds, A tall and well-built Young man with a cinnamon-like skintone and white hair, walked inside.

He was Dressed in a formal Crimson Red and white mixed outfit, and by his side was a shorter man with fairytale-like long purplish-pink hair and a Mahogany dark skintone, dressed in a light green and pink outfit.

That was King Thorn with his assistant Aroon Tar by his side, from the northern and colorful neighboring kingdom, Junglaya.

"Damn why is everyone good-looking around here? Even That pink haired assistant is hot as hell." Ned whispered.

"Your majesty king Thorn, His Majesty's Assistant Aroon Tar, Welcome to our humble kingdom! we are very delighted by you visit." Socorro spoke gracefully before bowing to the two visitors, however Thorn's gleaming red eyes didn't greet the woman at all.

Aroon had a sour expression on his face, It didn't make Socorro feel any better about this situation.

"King Thorn." Muriel spoke bowing for the man before him, Thorn's intensive and confused expression made him feel uncomfortable.

Thorn on the other hand, was trying to find the right words to express his gratitude, but the introvert he is struggled, "Muriel...Thank you."

A puzzled Muriel barely blinked twice upon hearing those words, before he was hugged like a teddy bear by Thorn.

With gasps, everyone was staring at this unexpected interaction, a king hugging a king.

"Your majesty!" Aroon said in disbelief, Socorro was clueless about what's happening, and she didn't like that.

"Thorn? are you alright?" Muriel asked as he felt Thorn's heartbeats against his body, "Would you like to come into my office?"

Feeling embarrassed, " Yes your majesty! it would be for the best to carry this matter somewhere private." Aroon the assistant spoke, agreeing to the proposition.

Finally letting Muriel go, " I'm sorry, I should've asked for your consent first before embracing you, but honestly i couldn't help myself." Thorn stated, his eyes softening as they met the blue and golden pair of Muriel.

"No need to apologize Your majesty...it seems as if you were in need of that hug, and I would have not minded it if you held me a little longer." Muriel gently replied.
