Zabuza would need about 5 days to recover his body movement was affected due to the inducted cardiac arrest caused by Haku so I had 5 days to hone my strength before the second encounter where this time I would defeat Zabuza.

Out of all my stats Agility was the one I had the best chance of improving to break the limit considering that days well focused on one stat I gain about 5 points in 2 days I'll be able to break my limit.

A day ago I managed to upgrade my lightning nature to level 1 so I decided to upgrade it again to see if I could reach level 2 along with the fire nature which would also help me a lot in battle.

Strangely enough my lightning nature hadn't been upgraded to a new level so I was curious to take a look.

Looking at my status I saw that my lightning nature was already halfway there. Something I realized was that the chakra nature is harder to improve at level 1 than it was when I didn't have a level so these limit breaks will most likely be necessary for me to be able to improve my natures.

I believe that more powerful jutsus will help me to have more affinity with certain natures so I won't have as much difficulty in the future as I do now.

In any case I had to continue training if I wanted to go head-to-head with Zabuza and defeat him.

2 days later

In the evening as Sakura Kakashi and I were having dinner in the presence of Tazuna's relatives Naruto and Sasuke knocked on the door extremely tired.

"We made it... we made it to the top of the tree" Naruto said leaning on Sasuke's shoulder.

That day due to Naruto's exhausting training Naruto stayed at home to rest while Sasuke Sakura Kakashi and I accompanied Tazuna to the bridge it was an important day because the bridge was almost finished it was a crucial period in the construction so it was also the most dangerous.

Naruto was very exhausted so Kakashi gave him the day off but when he woke up he felt very sorry for Kakashi's decision thinking that he had somehow been left behind so he gathered his things and went straight to the bridge as soon as he woke up.

On the bridge

Arriving at the bridge we are surprised to see several injured workers lying on the ground.

"We've been attacked !"

"Haku and Zabuza could be nearby we'd better be on our guard" I answer Tazuna's concern.

A thick fog rises over the bridge Zabuza explains that he's out there watching all of us making a few provocations but nothing that has any effect until 4 water clones appear around us completely surrounding us.

"You poor thing are even shaking" Zabuza teases Sasuke.

Sasuke stops shaking and says.

"You think so? I'm not scared" Sasuke says with a mischievous grin.

"What?" Zabuza asks.

"Sasuke now" I call time to attack.

I defeat 2 clones with a quick slash imbued with raiton while Sasuke defeats the other 2 clones with his kunai.

Shortly after the 4 clones are defeated without a scratch Zabuza and Haku appear in the distance with Zabuza saying the following.

"Surprising let's see how you deal with real ninjas now"

"Let's see Zabuza!" I said.

A while later the battle continued the entire battle taking place just as I had seen it in the manga Sasuke being placed inside the demonic ice crystal mirrors Kakashi being prevented from helping Sasuke Tazuna being attacked and me staying with Sakura after pretending to be hit by Zabuza.

Knowing that everything would be fine I let the events unfold.

In the end after Naruto released some of Kyubi's chakra something much more terrible than anyone could have imagined from the manga.

Zabuza with his two arms already immobilized takes a kunai by the mouth and attacks the mercenaries and Gatô.

Despite being hit several times Zabuza manages to kill Gatô and some of the mercenaries. After Zabuza's death the mercenaries say they won't leave empty-handed threaten to sack the village and say they're armed and hungry for money.

What they didn't expect was that the town was ready to welcome the criminals and a rebellion was brewing headed for the mercenaries who were terrified.

While the mercenaries were running away and the villagers were trying to attack them I took the opportunity to blend in with the mercenaries and get on the boat next to the bridge which belonged to Gatô.

Inside the boat I found a backpack containing the likely payment for Gatô's mercenaries. While the riot was going on I took the opportunity to take the bag and hide the money in one of the support towers of the bridge to get it later.

I climbed up one of the towers on the other side of the bridge to avoid the suspicion of Kakashi Sakura Naruto and Tazuna.

After a few days the mercenaries left.
