The day after training with his father it was time for him to meet up with Arc who would come to a nearby forest once in a while. This was one of the days that Arc would come. He knew when Arc should come because of the sheathes he had the unicorn chakra that was generated when Arc was near and it also gives Arckk an idea of where Riku is at all times. He was in the forest and saw the light that normally meant that Arc was coming.

Arc: Hello young Riku I presume that we will continue training today.

Riku: Yes I want to make my Horn Slash stronger but I also want to know if there are other techniques that can be performed.

Arc: Hmmm. I will think f a technique that can be used with a sword and sheath. But for now continue on your training with strengthening your technique.

The day went on with Riku working on his charging speed of the sheaths and the power of the attack. As the time went on the impact and his charge time improved under the guidance of Arc as Arc continued to think about how to help Riku improve.

Arc: Young Riku I believe that I have a way to help you with another technique. But keep in mind the overall power of this technique isn't as strong as the other but the speed is greater.

RIku: Ok.

Arc: This technique is what we unicorns call The Dance of a Hundred Cuts.

Arc started to perform the technique on a nearby tree t appeared like he was dancing at a speed that Riku could barely keep up with. He saw Arc constantly applying the unicorn chakra onto his horn while discharging that chakra into the enemy the attack really was a thousand cuts it was phenomenal.

Arc: The idea of this technique is that you focus on your speed which you told me that this is one of the points your Sensei is focusing on. The idea is to constantly release it into the opponent and reapply quickly. If you add your sever release to this it will be very deadly. You maybe thinking that you might take longer since you have to constantly sheath your sword but I think that if you train enough you will be very fast as the unicorns have to constantly generate the chara while you already have it stored so you replace a step.

Riku: Ok then but isn't it possible to just charge once and discharge it in parts.

Arc: Theoretically yes but it is very difficult so I want to start you off with this. The reason it is so difficult is that you need to focus your chakra on speed and discharge the chakra. But for you knowing how you use the unicorn chakra you will want to combine it with your sever release as well making it harder but with enough practice you might be able too.

Riku started to practice the technique but when he practiced the technique he couldn't get the technique anywhere near as fast as Arc. He needed to get a technique that would help him get faster, he also needed to get better at distributing his chakra which was chakra control again as well as he needed to get better at fusing the chakras faster. He continued to train this but not much progress was made in this process.

Arc: Young Riku you must be patient in this. This technique will be very difficult to learn.

RIku: Ok Arc I will practice and I think might ask advice from Ryu sensei.

Arc: That is a wise decision.

The next day RIku meet with Ryu and he started to explain the technique that he was working on with Arc. He needed help in chakra control, fusing the chakras, and a way to increase his speed. He was getting the chakra control help from his father and fusing the chakra with Arc so he needed help with speed. So Ryu thought of some ways and took Riku to the normal spot that they trained in.

Ryu: Let me explain to you how we will fix your speed issue. There is a technique that I think that you can try to recreate or improve on.

Riku: Ok.

Ryu: The technique I use to help with my speed is with wind release as you know that is my affinity. The way I do this is by manipulating the wind currents around my body to propel my body forward and remove the resisting air in the way of that movement giving me phenomenal speed. I can match many shinobi known for speed in thi aspect.

Riku: That sounds like a good idea but why are you contemplating improving it.

Ryu: I think that you can improve it because of there is a Lightning release armour that helps to increase our physical parameters. If you are able to combine the theories behind these techniques you could create a stronger technique made for your kekkei genkai.

Riku; That seems to be a incredible boost in strength if I can do this.

Ryu: Yes and I have the basic theory of the way of the way to use the lightning release armor so that I could use it but the wind release technique that I created is more useful for me as my affinity is better and it feels more natural.

Riku:; So you could guide me on both.

Ryu: Yes. So lets get started.

What Ryu did next was tech both of the techniques to RIku so that he knew them well. He then told Riku to practice the two techniques separately when with Ryu as he could give detailed instruction but if he attempts to combine the theories and apply sever release go to his father as it would be safer. So he would perfect the techniques with Ryu and while practicing the sever release with his father sometime was put aside to help in the combination.
