Chapter 33 - Troublesome Mission

A few weeks passed and under the blazing sun, Kagami stood beside Mira as they stood near each other with colorful and well made umbrellas. Dressed in fancy dresses that showed off one wealth as both wore light make up. Kagami's cheeks were a bit redder compared to Mira as they slowly walked through a town inside enemy territory.

Sent out to gather and if possible to hinder Kumo from their annoying game of attacking and retreating. Kagami and Mira were currently inside a town that was well known for trades as well as a main town of defense for Kumo. Which was very dangerous as they saw many different Kumo shinobi wandering about.

"Please tell me, why am I cross dressing?" Kagami asked as a shiver went down his spine.

A hulking man smiled at them as he walked by and offered him a flower. Luckily it wasn't in a weird way, since the large muscular man seemed to be a flower shop owner. So, Kagami mentally wiped the cold sweat that gathered on his forehead.

"You know why." Mira smiled sweetly. "It's because you're so cute."

Kagami just angrily glared at her with tears almost forming in his eyes. Which just added to the cuteness, as a few young boys and teens blushed at the sight of him. While a few men just laughed at their reactions.

"Whatever, the faster we get this done, the sooner I can change." Kagami grumbled.

"Well, just blame the traitor who sold your information." Mira turned serious.

At the mention of the whole reason he was crossdressing in enemy territory. Someone had sold information of his mission, so both Kagami and Mira basically became the hot topic. Kumo shinobi were on the lookout for them with orders to either capture alive or kill them. Hence, both Mira and Kagami were dressed and acting very different from their usual.

"Still, we didn't manage to get anything worthwhile this last week."

Over the previous couple weeks, besides taking out a few squads, neither of them gained much intel. The most they gathered was that Raikage gathered a sufficient force inside this town and that someone sold their information. Hence, why they were in disguise inside the town now.

"Well, we have arrived so we should get information from here."

Kagami's eyes scanned the building before him and didn't know if he should praise the Raikage taste in gathering spots. For what stood before them was a multistory building with nearly five floors and a bunch of rooms. Strange sounds will escape a few windows while scantily dressed women would appear in a few either smoking or waving down at some passing males.

'This is totally a brothel with a side business of being a love hotel on the side.' Kagami blinked wryly at the building.

"Why do males like these places?" Mira grumbled. "So how should we infiltrate this place?"

Kagami smiled at her as he held up a wad of cash. "Shall we find a big sister for advice on how it's done?"

Black lines formed on Mira's forehead, but followed Kagami into the building.

After picking out a 'host', Kagami with Mira on watch drugged the woman allowing her to sleep peacefully for the next couple hours. So silently Kagami searched the woman and room without finding much, not that he expected to find much. However, they managed to overhear that there was a meeting on the top floor full of shinobi as a couple of women between customers walked by.

"Mira, you check the rest of the floors, while I check the gathering shinobi." Kagami said. "If trouble occurs, cause havoc and I will rush to help."

"I'm more worried about you running into trouble." Mira grumpily said as she left in a huff.

'It's not like the top floor will be full of jonin.' Kagami mentally retorted as he made his way to the top floor.

'Nope, the top floor is worse than a floor full of jonin.'

Kagami peeked into the room and there in the center was a muscular man in his twenties with blonde dreadlocks. In his arm was a dumbbell as he began to give out commands as a yellow hat with a white trim was placed beside him.

'When was a kage so free and able to leave his village.' Kagami thought as he cursed his luck.

However, it seemed he cursed too soon as a loud explosion below shook the building. Then large tentacles appeared outside as bad rap sounded soon after. Pinching his nose in annoyance, Kagami quickly regained his composure and prepared to leave. However, suddenly, the door he was peeking through burst into pieces as the hulking figure of the Fourth Raikage appeared before him.

Clapping his hands together, Kagami began to mold water chakra into his stomach. Then in less than a moment, he unleashed a small high pressure stream of water from his mouth. A water beam that easily cut through everything it touched like a knife through butter.

"Water Release: Water Severing Wave"

Yet, despite the close proximity of each other, Kagami watched as the Raikage dodge and launched a heavy counter attack. So right before his eyes, Kagami watched a fist covered in lightning draw closer to his face.

"Die."

Kagami activated his Flying Thunder God technique and appeared inside the room with the drugged woman. His back was tingling in coldness as he was nearly slammed by the Raikage fist. However, he couldn't rest for long as he jumped out the open window as he unsealed his large scroll and slugged it across his back. For he will need it to help Mira who was facing the Eight Tail Jinchuriki.

"Where do you think you're going, brat."

From above the hulking figure of the Fourth Raikage came crashing down blocking Kagami's way. So pulling out his sword, Kagami attempted to pierce the Raikage lightning armor with little success. Thus showing how tough his defenses are.
