Chapter 12

The clones were running rampant through the Elemental Nations while actively sensing their surroundings with Observation Haki. At first, nothing out of place could be sensed until one of the clones picked up a strange presence near the Valley of the End. It wasn't that of a human or any other animal that Shibai was aware of at least. 'This must be it,' the clone thought to himself.

Shibai's Kage Bunshin entered the Door Dimension so he couldn't be sensed anymore and approached the creature. With his devil fruit he managed to pass through walls and sneak to the hideout without anyone noticing him. 'I was right to feel strange about this presence,' in front of Shibai was a black humanoid form just looking into the distance doing nothing.

'What a weird guy,' the clone mused to himself as he exited the dimension and cocked his fist back. Zetsu managed to sense him right as he appeared behind him but he was nowhere near the level where he could dodge one of Shibai's punches even though it was thrown by a clone. The creature was sent flying and right as it was about to collide with a wall, a door appeared and it was sent through it. When the capture was successful the clone entered the dimension again and appeared in front of Zetsu.

"So you must be Black Zetsu, I'm unimpressed," He said.

The humanoid form had so many questions floating through his head. He couldn't understand how someone had found him and even knew who he was.

"Wait wait! Who are y-"

He didn't get to finish as Shibai spoke over him, "You've been running things from the shadows for a little too long so I came to execute you." Hearing this, he started panicking slightly. He was trapped in a weird dimension with a guy whose chakra levels were completely ridiculous and he was out for his head.

Shibai didn't waste any more time chatting, "Fūton: Rasenshuriken!" The jutsu was formed almost instantaneously and thrown straight at Zetsu. He just managed to dodge it, escaping with his life but it had managed to cut one of his arms off before exploding in the distance. The blast caught Zetsu off guard again and he was launched forwards to where Shibai was standing.

"What? Why did you dodge that, didn't I say I came to execute you?" He joked with the black form now lying at his feet but it seemed that it wasn't amused.

"Wait let's ta-"

Shibai didn't allow him to finish this time either and threw a full powered punch at him. The punch landed and it hit hard. Pieces of weird black flesh were flying all around the hideout. Shibai could still feel a life force left and though it wasn't dead yet but after a short while, all trace of life was gone.

'And just like that, the person who has been puppeteering all sorts of events for almost a millennia now, completely erased in a few breaths without no one ever knowing it happened, it's quite funny.' The clone came back up from the hideout and continued marking down the area he was assigned before dispelling and sending the information to the original Shibai.

~Back in the Andeyas mountain range~

Shibai just finished touring the academy and his castle, he was now eating dinner in the courtyard while countless clones assaulted his brain by sending tons of information upon dispelling. He was luckily used to the information dump of the clones already otherwise he would be crying his eyes out from the pain. The information he was receiving was only completing the map of the Naruto world in his mind until he suddenly found out that he had managed to wipe out Black Zetsu completely.

'It seems that my Observation Haki is really too op. Even though he was perfect at erasing his chakra signature, my Observation Haki still picked up his presence. Him reviving Kaguya wouldn't really concern me, having said that it's still one less annoying guy to deal with in the future. Still, just by killing this guy the future of this world will probably go in a completely different trajectory than in the show and it's quite exciting.'

After finishing the food he waited for a while to let the clones map out the world and went to the gym in his castle plus did some cardio. He felt the last clone dispel and found out that he could now teleport to most places in the 5 elemental countries and all the minor ones that are situated between them like the Land of Rivers or the Land of Hot Water. Shibai was now ready to start scouting for clans but he had to make a quick stop at the Land of Rivers first before he forgot.

Shibai arrived near a small town in the Land of Rivers called Kawamata, the walls of the village could be seen just around the corner. He sensed that the strongest person in the country should be the village leader of this small town and the one who would found the future Tanigakure (Hidden Valley Village), a village with the same name that Shibai wanted for his own village so he came here to do some negotiations. "Ahh it's great to be out in the real world," he beamed and approached the large gates that allowed entry into the town.

"Halt!" A buff looking samurai wielding an odachi said to Shibai as he approached the man.

Shibai stopped right in front of him. "Do you need something sir?" He lifted his face up now looking at the samurai.

The man was stunned for a moment, having never seen any man or woman as stunning as this one. "Uhh, 50 ryō for entry. We don't want any hooligans causing trouble during the Tsuribune Matsuri."

Now a realization came to Shibai, he didn't have a single ryō on him. Even though he didn't quite understand how money would work as a currency in a world like this, the fact remained that it did. "Right…" he started, "Wait a second I'll be back." He walked back to the area he came from before that was out of sight of the guard and entered his dimension.

'I'll have to do some light cheating here.' He walked up to the guard again, this time he wasn't asked to halt and just let Shibai walk past him since he would have a tough time stopping people who don't exist in the same reality. 'If I get 50 ryō somewhere I'll go tip him for good customer service.

Shibai arrived at the outskirts of the village where fields surrounded him. There were small houses with thatched roofs for families working in agriculture. He kept moving through the residential areas of the town where he could already see many people moving about their day taking glances at him since he seemed to be the odd one out. After a while he arrived at the busy town center which was full of bustling food markets where people sold their fresh catch of the day and in the distance he spotted a large temple where the leader of the town resided. 'Hmm this guy must be pretty strong to keep the town stable and prevent any bandits from looting this place and taking lives, in the Warring States period at that. I wonder how I could meet up with him, I don't just want to barge into his place since if someone did that to me I would probably despise them for the rest of my life.'

He walked up to a normal looking young woman possibly in her early twenties. "Excuse me," he said after giving a light cough to get her attention.

"Ahh yes," she turned around to see who was talking to her. "What is it?"

"I was just wondering if you know how I could meet up with the leader of this village," Shibai looked into her eyes and smiled.

The woman's knees suddenly felt really weak and a light pressure formed in her stomach signaling her nervousness. She had never seen anyone this good looking. "Oh, are you new here?" She replied quickly to avoid any slip ups.

Seeing this Shibai smiled internally, enjoying the feeling of others finding him attractive. He had always needed to try his hardest to gather even the slightest bit of favorability but now people felt attracted to him even without him doing anything, it was great. "Yeah I just arrived and need to do some business with him," he said.

Immediately a suspicious look appeared on her face "I suppose you don't have anything nasty planned, do you?" She questioned him.

Shibai put his hands in the air playfully. "Of course not, do I look suspicious or something?"

"Hmm, you don't but there have been lots of bandits trying to cause trouble in recent times so we have to make sure no one has any bad intentions for Ito-sama."

"Looks like people really care about him here, must be a great guy."

"Of course we do, he is a great leader and always protects us if there is trouble. Because of him we can live the way we do here," she smiled happily. "He is usually pretty private so most people don't know much about him but luckily for you, he is holding a public speech today.

"Today, what's happening here today?" Shibai asked.

"It's the start of the harvest season so a three day festival called 'Tsuribune Matsuri' takes place where all the people come together and celebrate. He often makes an appearance then."

"You think I could come into contact with him then?" He said.

"It's your best bet if you ask me."

"Thank you so much Miss… May I ask you your name?"

"It's Fujita Hanako but you can just call me Hanako if you want," she gave a sweet smile.

"Miss Hanako, it was nice meeting you, I'm Shibai. Kuchiki Shibai," he offered her a hand to shake and she extended hers. But instead of going for a typical handshake, he seized her hand and put his lips to her knuckles, giving a short kiss.

After he let go she was left stunned and a small red tint rose to her cheeks. "Well, see you then Miss Hanako," Shibai said and walked away. 'Heh what a slick move, now that I'm attractive I can get away with things like this.'

Hanako was left still standing at the side of the street gently rubbing the spot Shibai kissed. 'I got over my initial nervousness and managed to act normal after a while but he still got me blushing like mad. Damn it he's too hot,' she sighed. 'I wonder if I could see him again…'
