Chapter 131.2 : Third Raikage vs Minato!!

Namikaze Minato suddenly felt the weight of the situation. Even in his prime, he would be no match for the Third Raikage, let alone in his current state: "Raikage, are you sure you want to fight here? I hope you can reconsider, or this might lead to war!"

His words were a caution to the Raikage to be mindful of his role and position.

A violent gale whipped up the gravel, sending it whistling through the air like concealed weapons.

"Just as expected, it's the Flying Thunder God Technique."

The Third Raikage withdrew his fist from the ground, his eyes quickly tracking the teleporting Minato Namikaze. 

With a focused expression, he said, "I've only heard of the Second Hokage being the fastest ninja, but I've never seen it for myself. Let's see today who is faster!"

Boom!

With a roar that sounded like thunder ripping through the sky, the Third Raikage launched himself into the air.

Though the Flying Thunder God Technique should have given Minato Namikaze the advantage, the Third Raikage's speed was beyond ordinary. 

Almost immediately, a massive figure clad in lightning armor, exuding a fierce aura, appeared right behind him.

Minato Namikaze realized that with his trio, he couldn't confront the Third Raikage directly.

"Kakashi, Obito and Rin are in your hands," Namikaze Minato said, his voice low but urgent. "I'll draw the Third Raikage away. Make sure you inform the Hokage that Cloud Village has allied with Iwagakure and plans to wage war against Konoha!"

With that, he threw the three of them to safety and risked direct contact with the Third Raikage, activating the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Under the watchful eyes of Kakashi, Obito and Rin, both Namikaze Minato and the Third Raikage vanished in an instant.

Swish!

In the blink of an eye, they reappeared hundreds of meters away.

"Well, to protect the younger generation?"

The Third Raikage's face showed admiration. "Yes, you are a remarkable teacher. You didn't abandon your students and flee."

He charged again.

Ignoring the mechanics of inertia, he spun around and struck out with his four fingers together: "If you had only stayed in one place, you might have used the kunai you set up as a jumping point. But now, you only have one position."

"Hell Thrust - Four-Finger Nukite!"

The lightning at the tips of his four fingers was compressed, sharp like a blade cutting through the air.

It was the renowned ninjutsu, *The Strongest Spear*, used by the Third Raikage!

"No, you're mistaken!"

Minato Namikaze, mid-air, had a deep look in his eyes: "I did this on purpose because..."

The hellish thorn, as sharp as a blade, struck the air directly.

The Third Raikage was momentarily stunned, as if he hadn't reacted yet. But then he suddenly turned his head and saw Minato Namikaze appearing behind him.

"This is Flying Thunder God, Second Stage!"

Minato Namikaze gathered a storm-like sphere in his left hand and pressed it hard toward the Third Raikage: "Rasengan!"

However, when the Rasengan hit the Lightning Release Armor, it felt like hitting solid steel.

Although the powerful spiral force slightly damaged the Lightning Release Armor, it could only create a minor impact against the Third Raikage's strong physique and then stopped.

The Rasengan, not yet fully developed, was simply not enough to break through the Third Raikage's defense.

"One-Finger Nukite!"

The Third Raikage transformed his fist into a sword and struck directly at Minato Namikaze's chest.

"The strongest shield," Minato Namikaze gasped, struggling to maintain his composure. "Truly lives up to its name."

With that, Minato's vision blurred, and he finally succumbed to unconsciousness.
