"Guy, you have done well guiding your team"

Sarutobi read the mission report and looked at Guy standing before him along with Gojo, Lee, and Neji.

"It seems my decision to hand them over to Guy was right after all"

Thought Sarutobi as under the guidance of Guy, team 6 have completed 30 D rank, 10 C rank, 1 B rank, and 1 A-rank mission.

"No, Lord 3rd, I just merely guided them; they all put great effort and didn't let their days of youth go to waste"

Guy denied the credit as he looked at his three students with satisfaction in his eyes, as none of them disappointed him.

It's been a whole year and 3 months since they have graduated and 9 months since Gojo returned from his vacation.

"Then, Guy, what is your opinion this time?"

Seeing Guy praising his students, Sarutobi took out a form and handed it to Guy.

"Chunin Exam"

Guy took a look and was surprised to see that it was the Chunin Exam entry form.

"Last time, you refused to let your team participate, Guy; I think they are more than ready for it"

Sarutobi looked at Guy as he hoped he would agree to let them participate this year since it concerned the image of the village.

When other villages see the talents like Neji and Gojo, the deterrence of Konoha will increase a lot.

"I didn't let them participate last year because I wanted to strengthen their basic Shinobi Skills"

"This whole year I have seen their growth, so I, Might Guy, recommend"

"For the Chunin exam"

Guy didn't have a second thought as he immediately recommended them for the Chunin exam.

"You have made a great choice, Guy; this time, all the neighboring villages, as well as village hidden in the sand, are all participating in the Chunin Exam."

"This will also be an opportunity for these three to measure their strength against Genin of other villages"

Sarutobi spoke for a long time and told about the importance of this Chunin Exam and its effect on the village's reputation.

"Chunin Exam, huh~ it seems finally something interesting is happening"

Thought Gojo as finally these dull days of doing missions are over and something worth looking for is happening.

"This Chunin Exam, I will prove that I'm better than you"

Neji looked at Gojo, the person he couldn't understand and the one he wanted to defeat badly.

"You have three days to prepare, the Chunin Exam will start on 1st of June, lift the village's name"

Sarutobi looked at them and reminded them one final time.

"It's finally over~; that Old man really speaks a lot"

Walking out of the Hokage Building, Gojo heaved a sigh of relief.

"Satoru, I have a request"

Gojo, who was thinking of visiting the sweet shop, was suddenly stopped by Neji.

"What's the matter?"

Asked Gojo curiously, and even Lee looked at Neji, wondering what happened to him suddenly.

"If we happen to fight each other in Chunin Exam, I hope you won't hold back"

Neji looked at Gojo and the fighting intent burning in his eyes was visible to the naked eye.

"Do you really want me to go all out? ~ You might regret it"

Gojo smirked while looking at Neji as he knew Neji won't last more than a second if he went all out.

"I'm prepared for everything"

Said Neji with a determinant tone as he turned around and left.

Gojo smiled at the tough words of Neji, but he would never go all out against a friend since the other party would surely die.

Shaking his head, Gojo bade farewell to Lee and was on his way to the Amaguriama Sweet Shop.

"Hmm~, that boss, he sure has some taste in his hands"

Munching on the red bean cake, Gojo praised the sweet shop owner as he walked around the streets of Konoha with leisure.

Only a day is left since the start of the Chunin Exam; after bunking the special training session of Guy, Gojo bought his favorite red bean cake, and with nothing left to do, he decided to stroll around the village.

"Huh?"

Gojo suddenly stopped as he spotted three colorful heads along with three kids a bit ahead.

"That red hair guy seemed strong"

Naruto looked at Sasuke and Sakura and had to admit that the gourd guy seemed strong, even stronger than Sasuke.

"And you just had to make him our enemy!!!"

Sakura yelled at Naruto, who fought with that puppet guy.

She was still feeling a bit terrified as that gourd guy really had a nasty look and terrifying eyes.

"But it was Sasuke who challenged that guy!!!"

Naruto felt a bit wronged.

It was obviously Sasuke who messed with that red-haired guy.

"I'm going back, and rather than complaining, you should make yourself strong, loser; I don't want to lose the Chunin Exam because of you"

Sasuke warned Naruto as he wanted to fight that red hair boy and didn't want to be left behind because of Naruto.

"Bastard, Sasuke!!!"

"Huh?

Sasuke turned around, ready to go home as Naruto behind yelled at him, but the steps of Sasuke suddenly halted as he spotted a figure before him.
