Kakashi Hatake
- 3rd Person Pov -
Room #7 was just a regular classroom, empty as the students from this classroom had gone on a trip not too long ago. In this classroom, Kai was lounging on the chair while putting his legs on the table. Naruko was staring at the window and Shikamaru was sitting on a table, his eyes fixated on a singular position.
"So... This is a team?" Shikamaru asked.
"I'm pretty sure this is a team," Kai replied, "But we'll manage somehow,"
Shikamaru glanced at Kai who seemed rather quiet about the whole ordeal and the door was suddenly pushed open, This time, Naruko hadn't tried any pranks on Kakashi... Because Kai insisted on making a good first impression on Kakashi, Of course.
Kakashi had spiky silver hair and a piercing eye, Kai noticed it seemed to be analyzing the battle prowess of everyone present. Then his Headband was tilted, of course to cover his Sharingan eye which was the reason he was called the 'COPY NINJA'.
Kakashi's eye landed on Kai and Kai felt an indescribable force, searching through his heart and soul and then he realized that Kakashi was far more skilled than his anime counterpart.
"Alright," Kakashi said, "Take your seats... normally,"
Shikamaru sat on a chair and Naruko did the same, Kakashi grabbed on a chair and sat on it backward much to their surprise.
'I THOUGHT YOU SAID SIT DOWN LIKE A NORMAL PERSON??!!'
His eyes landed on every single one of them and he smiled.
"My name is Kakashi Hatake and I'll be your Sensei," Kakashi said with a smile, "Now one thing you need to know is that, you are weak,"
Naruko wrinkled her eyebrows as she heard what Kakashi said and Kai also looked confused.
"What are you? A team that just got crafted together by the Lord Hokage… You're weak, You hardly know anything about the moves and the fighting styles of the next person," Kakashi said with a sigh, "If you don't know much about your comrade then you're weak, In this line of work, You're put in life and death situations at regular intervals… A choice to sacrifice your teammate for the good of the mission… Ambushes from enemy Ninja and a lot more things,"
Kakashi put his palms together.
"Being a Ninja means putting your life on the line for the betterment of the Village Hidden In The Leaves! So, If you're not ready, Then step out of this room!" Kakashi's voice was raised, "An Experienced Jonin like me has lost a lot of friends in this line of work,"
Kai hadn't expected Kakashi to discourage them at the beginning but as he looked at the faces of Shikamaru and Naruko, Their determination burning as bright as his. They all stood up and locked their eyes with Kakashi's.
"We refuse to back down!" Naruko and Kai voiced out.
"What a drag…" was Shikamaru's reply.
Kakashi looked at his squad and admired their determination, yet he still needed to know if they would have such determination when the Survival Exercise came along…
"Now introduce yourselves," Kakashi said while releasing his hands and grabbing the wooden top of the chair, "Starting from you!"
Kakashi pointed at Shikamaru, the heir of the Nara clan.
"Like what kind of introduction?" Shikamaru asked.
"Like your name, your goals, hobbies, stuff like that," Kakashi said, "I'm not going to give an example though,"
Shikamaru sighed.
"What a drag… My name is Shikamaru Nara and I'm 15 years old, Hobbies… Well Sleeping is my hobby… Goals, huh? I don't really have any right now," Shikamaru said, "And that's pretty much it,"
Kakashi blinked, it was blander than he had expected…
"Oh, Me Next! Me Next!" Naruko exclaimed and stood up flashing Kakashi her signature smile, "My name is Naruko Uzumaki, And my goal is to become the greatest Hokage! If I do, then the people will stop disrespecting me and look up to me… And my hobbies, I guess that would be eating Ramen and spending time with Kai!"
Her cheeks lit up as she said the last part, a crimson blush crossing her cheeks as she had admitted that she loved spending time with Kai… but was she hiding it?
'So she has a crush on Kai, huh?' Kakashi thought.
"And you," Kakashi said to Kai who narrowed his eyes at Kakashi and sighed.
"My name is Kai Uchiha, My goal… It's still in formulation but It's something hanging around becoming the Strongest Ninja and becoming the rival of the Hokage but it's still in progress," Kai said with a shrug, "And my hobbies, I guess that would be training and practicing my Jutsu, plus occasional talks with Naruko and some of our other classmates but nothing more,"
Kakashi looked at Kai and shrugged.
"Alright, That's all for today, Tomorrow we're having an exercise that will show if you're ready to become Ninja or you repeating the academy," Kakashi said.
