3.TRAINING PARTNER
That evening, Ren started his training with simple exercises like stretches, sit-ups, push-ups, and pull-ups. He soon discovered that he had more stamina and a stronger body than before, thanks to the presence of chakra in his body. However, he didn't overdo it like Might Guy; he only did 10 repetitions of each exercise before coming back to the orphanage for dinner. With the recent war, the food at the orphanage was scarce, and Ren had to hunt in the hill area to get the nutrients he needed for his training.
During dinner, Ren noticed that almost all the children were crying, and it was because of losing their parents in the war. However, there was one boy named Haru, who seemed to be in a normal state. Haru was only six years old and had also lost his parents in the war, but he was one of the few children who could accept reality. After dinner, Ren and Haru went to the back of the orphanage and talked to each other.
Haru was surprised to see that Ren was different that day. Ren asked Haru what he meant, and Haru replied that Ren was usually crying every day like others, but that day he was calm. Ren then told Haru that he had a dream where his parents came to him and talked to him, and he realized that he had to become strong and become a great ninja so that his parents wouldn't be worried in heaven. Haru understood Ren's pain and didn't probe any further.
Ren and Haru got to know each other's parents, and Ren proposed a training plan to Haru. Haru was interested in becoming powerful, but he didn't know how, and there was no one to guide him because of the war. Ren suggested that they become training partners and help each other become stronger. Haru accepted Ren's proposal, and they both started their journey toward becoming powerful ninjas.
During the next six months, both Ren and his training partner dedicated themselves to improving their taijutsu skills. The Stone Village Head and the Anbu were impressed by their progress and took note of their actions. The Village Head even personally observed their training during his breaks and was astonished by Ren's astronomical growth rate in taijutsu. Ren himself was amazed by his own progress.
After conducting some experiments and research on his parents' background, Ren discovered that his soul was merged with the existing body soul due to his transmigration. As a result, his spiritual power was higher than his body power. Researching his mother's lineage, he found out that she was from a lava-style kekkei genkai bloodline family and had expertise in medical ninjutsu. Ren concluded that he had high yang efficiency and that his spiritual power was yin, while his body power was yang. He knew that his body power had to equal his spiritual power, as his yin power was more dominant due to his transmigration. Haru helped Ren improve his combat skills through sparring, and the Village Head Oniki began to like Ren more and more as he witnessed his progress. In addition to his training, Ren helped his neighbors and earned their admiration. As he integrated himself into the village, Ren felt grateful that he was born there. If he had been born in the Leaf Village, he would have had to deal with the "Darkness of the Shinobi" and ensure that his strength did not become known. He was relieved that he did not have to deal with any of that and that he could focus on his training.
oniki's pov
As he reviewed the files of the village's talented individuals and ordered the ANBU to investigate and catch any spies. As he studied the potential of each individual, one of the ANBU interrupted him and informed him of Ren's actions. Oniki simply laughed and continued his work.
A few days later, the ANBU again mentioned Ren, this time speaking of his training with a boy named Haru. Despite being young, Ren was improving quickly and focusing solely on taijutsu training, which was a difficult feat for a child his age. Oniki became intrigued and began observing him for months. He soon discovered that Ren's way of thinking was far beyond his years and that he had great potential.
It occurred to Oniki that perhaps Ren could one day lead the village. He was impressed with Ren's initiative in using snakes as bait to motivate the children in the orphanage to undergo basic body training. Not only did this improve the atmosphere of the orphanage, but it also provided the village with more potential ninja recruits.
Oniki was deeply impressed by Ren's potential and was contemplating the idea of taking him under his wing as his student. However, before he could even consider taking a break from his daily routine, he knew he had to face his arch-nemesis, the never-ending piles of paperwork. As he gazed out of the window, lost in thought, he couldn't help but feel a sense of overwhelming responsibility weighing down upon him. Despite his desire to take on Ren as his protégé, he knew he had to fulfill his obligations and conquer the tedious task of paperwork first. Nevertheless, the mere thought of Ren's untapped potential filled him with excitement and a sense of anticipation for what the future might hold. He knew that once he finished with his paperwork, he could finally focus his full attention on Ren's training, unlocking his true potential, and molding him into a formidable force to be reckoned with. Oniki was confident that Ren had what it takes to succeed, and he was determined to guide him every step of the way.
