Waking Up

"Umm..." The young man opened his eyes slowly as he looked at the ceiling above him.

 "Where am I?" He wondered as he looked to his left and right, it was a neat room filled with a gentle fragrance of incense.

Before he could get up, a sharp pain hit his mind as memories began flooding into his mind. The memories were of a kid whose father died while he was just born.

His name was Naruto Uzumaki, the son of Minato Namikaze, who died while fighting against the mighty Nine-Tailed Beast.

It was a valiant battle as both of them fought together for the whole night. Ravaging the lands as the mountains outside Konoha village were destroyed.

But this didn't stop the two combatants as they continued to fight until they reached the Abyss Ridge, a dreadful place where Demonic Beings reside.

Legend has it that it was directly connected to hell, but no one can verify it as even Madara and Hashirama never dared to enter this hell hole.

But Minato purposely chose this place as Kushina was already waiting for him there with their babies, he already had a plan to seal the Nine-Tailed Beast inside his kids.

Yes, there was not only a single boy but also an equally beautiful girl in Kushina's hands. She was the twin sister of Naruto and the child of Minato and Kushina.

She named her Mitsuki Uzumaki while Minato decided to name the boy Naruto.

Naruto and Mitsuki were born just a few minutes before as Kushina was also in a weakened state, they had never expected that The Nine-Tailed Beast would attack their village even in their wildest dreams.

This caught Minato off-guard so he had been fighting against him for a while now.

Kushina had come here after someone kidnapped her children and brought them to this place. She found them lying on the ground and picked them up, and seconds after that she saw Minato and Nine-Tailed Beasts fighting while coming towards her.

She stood frozen on the ground as she couldn't move fast enough to avoid them, but before they got any closer she mustered her courage and jumped back, nearly entering the Abyss but stopped in the end.

Minato also noticed this as he turned serious and began to attack the Nine-Tailed Beast with all of his techniques, but alas the beast's skin turned out to be thicker than what his kunai could pierce.

Left with no other choice, he performed the forbidden jutsu, Reaper Death Seal. Dragging the soul and chakra of The Nine-Tailed Beast outside from its body.

At this point he was already standing in front of Kushina, having his back face her as he faced off against the Nine-Tailed Beast.

Dragging its soul towards him as he used another forbidden jutsu, Karma Blade, he divided the Nine-Tailed Beast into two equal parts as a single body couldn't handle its immense power.

He dragged both parts forward and sent the bright one toward his daughter and the darker one toward his son.

He looked at them inexplicably as he knew this was his final moments, he hurriedly went forward and made seals with his hand to seal the beasts inside of them.

He felt his life force fading as the price for using Karma Blade was this, the death of the soul. With no chance of reincarnation.

He didn't mind that at all as he soon finished drawing the spell on both of their stomachs, before he could even heave a sigh his body began disintegrating into particles.

Kushina looked at this scene in shock as she hadn't expected that her husband would die here. He softly muttered under his breath while looking at his wife and children, "Take care of them, I hope you all can live a peaceful life afterward."

He spoke freely as he felt liberation from the mortal life, he knew he was finished and would never return, so he hoped for the best for her love.

Kushina shed tears as she saw Minato dying in front of her, "No don't die yet, we haven't even spent much time together."

Minato revealed a sad smile as he answered her, "I hope you can move on." He turned into particles before evaporating into thin air.

Kushina didn't even have time to calm down before he was fine, she could only stare at the place where he had been as she felt her whole world was crumbling down.

The Young Man opened his eyes, his eyes shined in excitement and pain, "Fuck! My head! Are these my memories? But it doesn't look like I'm in Naruto's body" he said as he looked at his body.

He picked up a mirror from the side and looked at himself. He had black hair, black eyes, and fair skin.

He remembered that he used to be an average otaku in his past life, nothing was remarkable about him.

But now, he has the memories of Naruto, the son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.

He also had a twin sister named Mitsuki Uzumaki. She was a redhead beauty similar to his mom with fair skin.

But alas, due to being a Jinchuriki since birth, she has no friends. She only had her big brother to play and spend time together with. He was the one who took the most care of her.

"What the fuck is even happening?" He felt excitement coursing through him at the thought of becoming Naruto but the lingering doubt made it nearly impossible for him to calm down.

Just then a voice sounded in his mind.
