9. Meeting

Like that Guy dashed off towards the forest of death and Mai followed behind him.

Guy flickered through the back streets of Konoha in an attempt to evade as much people as possible at full speed with his destination set as training ground forty-four. Mai was also flickering close to Guy letting him lead the way.

*Whoosh....Whoosh..*

They now flickered through the forest of death as they entered one of the most fierce training grounds in the village which was commonly used as a training for the chunin exams when held in Konoha.

The beasts in the forest were alarmed by this intrusion as people rarely entered the forest. None of them came around to attack them as they were moving at blinding speeds. Se of the beasts in closest proximity to them were left overwhelmed and some unconscious by the aura that was leaking off of Nahen which would put even a seasoned jonin to shame.

As if a lion was parading through the jungle and all the animals bowing in his path, all the beasts trembled in fear as Nahen's aura made them tremble in fear and they were submissive to his presence.

'Just hang in there Nahen...' These words kept ringing in Mai's head as she kept staring at Nahen who was out cold. 'Just what could have caused this, I know his from a once former clan with unmatched prowess but this....?. Could it be? Let's hope not or else the other part of it might be true.'

Soon a huge tower came into their view as they got closer and closer.

They slowed down upon reaching the entrance of the tower and were met by two guard ninjas quite a distance from the door.

"Subzero level, Stronghold 7" The guard yelled as he had been cautioned prior and decided to keep his distance and not get too close.

'Subzero level?!. What are they planning to do, keep him down there for who knows how long.' Mai had a pensive look on her face as she heard the guard speak and if she could, she would strangle him right there to get rid of all the rage she just had after hearing where they were going to keep Nahen.

The Tower's Subzero level was a basement level within the Tower that has multiple Strongholds strong enough to tank at least two fully charged bijudamas from the nine tails and still survive a barrage of multiple ninjutsu waves before caving in thanks to some fuinjutsu seals and talismans. These were set up as sealing chambers by Mito Uzumaki, the former nine tails jinchuriki before Kushina Uzumaki.

Entering the Tower Guyade his way through the halls and made his was down a long pile of stairs and finally made it down to the basement level and headed towards a door labeled with the number 7. It was one of the most hospitable of all the strongholds, probably used as an escape room for the higher-ups if they ever need one.

A figure inside the room directed Guy towards a chamber made of a glass like substance with a mattress inside. Guy placed Nahen down and exited the chamber. As soon as the door was shut, wierd sealing formula chains crept on the sides of the chamber and made a web like pattern across then with tens of hundreds if not thousands of runes covered this chamber big enough to fit 5 grown men. Similar formula chains also erupted from underneath Nahen and covered his body.

As soon as this chains fell on Nahen's body, Guy and Mai both had worried looks as they could no longer feel Nahen's presence. First the sealing formula cut supply to the outside making the chamber a somewhat breathable in vacuum. Then it started siphoning off chakra from Nahen to weaken him in order to subdue him and induce him into a comatose state where he'll be rendered immobile and vulnerable to subjugation. Well that's what should have happened.

But as soon as his chakra was being siphoned and cut out of his system, black flames appeared on the sealing formula on Nahen's body and instantly devoured it.

"....."

The eyes of Guy, Mai and the Anbu that had gone ahead to prepare the chamber and one of the two guards stationed outside that had come to land a hand inside all had their mouths wide open and their eyes bulging out at the site before their very eyes.

This site was shocking to them as these chains were able to subdue even a tailed beast extraction were just burned away like they were nothing. These chains were the same ones that held a rampaging Kushina after she lost herself to the nine tails and Minato teleprted her into this stronghold and stabilized her after the kyubii's chakra almost corrupted her whole. Beats me why this place wasn't chosen to be the birth site when Kushina was in labour and the sealing formula would have strengthened the seal, but would also trap Kushina in the mix as well as the baby Naruto at the se time.

Back at training ground six.

The sky was still gloomy with dark clouds hanging over the sky with a feint vortex spiraling over a medium sized crater in the middle of the training ground. The clan heads were evacuating the scene when ninja in dressed in uniforms belonging to the officers of Konoha's police force arrived.

Most of them were shocked to see the damage done to the area as they found their clan leader there and it had been news to them that later today there would be a celebration for the patriarch's younger son who'd be unlocking his chakra today. Seeing Figaku here and the other clan heads they knew they weren't part of the main force but realized that something happened during the ceremony y for the young clan heirs which were being evacuated from the premises of ground six.

Before they could wander in their thoughts any longer a voice dragged them out to reality. "Spread out and evacuate every living being in the vicinity of half a kilometer around the crater and erect a level 2 precautionary barrier and close this place off." Fugaku's voice brought them back and when he finished, they flickered away to close the place off.

The Hokage who was giving orders to his ninjas took a moment to breathe to digest what had happened here. His thoughts were running all over the place when he saw a couple of shadows flicker and intercept the police force. This alerted him since they were Root Anbu. Before Hiruzen could say anything, the police force ninjas left the scene upon orders recieved from the root ninjas to do so.

At first they were hesitant to do so, but they thought insubordination would be taken since they were told the order came from the higher-ups. The situation was now contained by the root ninja. The rest of the clan heads and present ninja saw the Anbu and root ninja take care of the situation swiftly and praised them at sight without having seen the police force arrive first and be dismissed almost immediately.

*Whoosh*

An Anbu flickered infront of the Hokage and he gave him an order to summon all members of the konoha council for an emergency meeting. After that he left along with all the remaining extras and he went to his office to prepare for the meeting.

Meanwhile back at the Tower.

As the chains were burning out, the fire they engulfed in was slowly dying out as the chains were receding. Just then a fail-safe in the sealing formula came alive as secondary sealing chains erupted in the blink of an eye and engulfed the flames in one fellswoop and a power struggle between the flames and chains which seemed to be at equal odds.

After a brief back-and-forth between the two forces, the chains slowly gained ground and extinguished the black flames and the remaining ones receeded back into Nahens body and the chains successfully siphoned and drained his body of it's chakra and rendered him into a comatose state after sucking about a jonin's worth of chakra from him.

Everyone witnessing this was perplexed by this since they could visibly sense the amount of chakra that was being sucked by the chains and were amazed as to how much chakra Nahen had in him. This continued until it came to a standstill and the chains crept up on Nahen's skin and sealed away his remaining chakra.

Seeing this successfully happen the Anbu then flickered away to report back to Hokage about what happened here.

In an underground room in the Hokage building, several figures were seated at an oval shaped table with numerous number of seats. Seated around the table were all the various clan heads and other commanding members of the different divisions of konohas forces and civilians members too.

The silence was broken by a hoarse voice sounding from inside the room and came with some disdain. "Where is Hiruzen already." The man icked his tongue."We should start the meeting already".

"Calm yourself Danzo, Hiruzen is the Hokage and we can't start the meeting without him, besides his the one who called for this mission" Homura on the side cautioned Danzo.

A while later while in his office getting everything in order, the Anbu from the Tower appeared infront of him and gave a report of what went on in the Tower. After hearing all this Hiruzen was silent for a moment until he broke out of it and made his way through the building into the meeting room.

Chitter and chatter were going around the room as the people within the room were discussing among themselves what this meeting was about. The talking in the room was silenced by the opening of the door as the Hokage burst through the doors with a tense expression on his face unaware of it himself and sat down on his seat.

"Now that the Hokage has arrived, we can start this mission" Koharu spoke upon seeing Hiruzen sit down without saying a word.

Shikaku Nara the jonin commander,after eyeing the Hokage still silent got up and narrated the series of events that took place leading to this summon of their meeting as a witness of this event as well as the intel gathered by the intelligence division.

He motioned a look towards the other clan heads that were also present as he had mentioned them in the report and all responded in a nod of affirmation to confirm this. Except for Fugaku who had his eyes closed the entire time, everyone present could feel the rage fuming off of him.

The rest of the council were surprised to hear this as it had appeared to be an attack on the village but turns out it was an internal affair and not just that but from a 4 year old who can't even control his own chakra much less had just awoken it.

"Where is the boy now?" One of the council members asked, a question burning inside everyone's minds.

"He's secured, in Subzero level chamber in the Tower." Horuzen said his first words silencing everyone as they didn't expect him to answer.

"What's to be done with the boy?. After all he isn't any ordinary in any way."

"Once the boy has been examined and proven to be in a stable state and normal, he'll be released with precautionary measures as well as an Anbu watch detail watching him to make sure all is in order." The Hokage said lighting and taking a puff from his pipe.

"For how long will he be stable, huh?" Danzo's voice sounded as he got up from his chair. "We've all seen and witnessed the terror this boy has. How long until he goes on a rampage and raze this village to the ground, how long until this power of his goes to his head and rebels against our village."

Whispers were spreading in the room after Danzi had said this and the people were taking in the meaning of Danzo's words. The boy had to be killed before he becomes a problem or turns this village to the ground.

"I say we integrate him into the Anbu forces and train him into a fine weapon for the village, an ultimate weapon that will imbed konoha's place as the strongest of all the great hidden villages. I offer to take him into my root Anbu and train him personally under my watch." His voice bolstered again cementing his words into the heads of the people present.

"Danzo that's enough! This isn't some weapon were talking about here. This is a child who still has his life ahead of him and you want to turn him into one of your mindless minions? The boy will be trained efficiently and watched to make sure everything is safe."

"Of course you're going to play favorites and be soft when it comes to the child of your friends student. This is an opportunity to raise and train him in a way that will benefit the village, for the greater good of konoha. Isn't that what you want?"

"The boy will be made into a ninja of the village, serve the village and he will be a weapon of the village under the right circumstances. You forget that his parents saved this entire village after your root ninja messed up and they died during that mission, and now you wanna taint their legacy by weaponizing their only child." Hiruzen had the last word as it made sense that this wasn't just any shinobi that could be tossed around to the front lines.

He wasn't even a shinobi, but he was a child of heroes. Not as much as the Fourth was but the indirectly saved the village from facing another war after the kyubii's attack when they were vulnerable.

The meeting then continued and they addressed a lot of issues that had rose up and precautionary measures to take in case it happens in any instance, which brought up another matter as well.

"During the evacuation and perimeter launch I failed to witness any members of the police force, aren't they to be deployed for this situations. Why didn't they come through in the event of this crisis?" Hiashi Hyuga asked.

Thoughts ran through the minds of the people present as they remember barely seeing members of the police force active. This drew a tick on Fugaku's head as he opened his eyes and for the first time since he got in here spoke.

"Members of the police force were deployed to the scene first and they were first to respond and reach the site. Upon reaching the grounds they deployed countermeasures and evacuated the young clan heirs to safety including the Hyuga heiress herself" He said while starring at Hiashi dead in the eye with his stern face.

"Upon that, they recieved orders from one of the Anbu captains from root to leave as this was now an Anbu operation. And so the deployed into the streets and continued their duties." He finished as he fixed his eyes on Hiashi one last time before closing them once more.

Every clan head that was present nodded their heads as they remember the police force members taking their children away. Hiashi who felt the glare of everyone gritted his teeth and grumbled behind his teeth words only he heard.

Even though that was the case the police force was further looked down upon and was ridden as another failure to operate in time even though they did. This made Fugaku boil even further at this but decided to stay calm and say nothing as this was a trap layer down to catch him when his tongue slips and further ostracize the Uchiha.

After several back and forth the meeting was dismissed and everyone left the room except for the Hokage and the elders.
