Training some more

A yellow-haired boy charged in for an attack only to get slapped with a stick. Naruto had been training extra hard for the exams, he didn't know what could happen during the exams. Naruto has improved on his taijutsu a lot but still could only land one hit on Tobirama if he let him.

"You have gotten better but there's still a long way to go until you can hold your own against strong opponents." Naruto nodded, "Okay I will train harder! Naruto acted cold to almost everybody mainly because of the whole 'demon' thing but the Hokage were people he could talk to.

After some more training, it was time for him to meet up with Hashirama, they usually practiced medical ninjutsu. Naruto sat down in front of Hashirama, Hashirama said "we will be going to be learning a C-rank medical ninjutsu today, the importance of this is great as you never know what will happen."

Naruto nodded his head, Hashirama then handed him a scroll. "You have learned to do basic healing with no chakra needed but now you will be using chakra to heal, look at the scroll it will tell you what we are learning." Naruto then looked down at the scroll.

Description- A medical technique where the user moves chakra into the palm of their hands creating a sphere of healing chakra. When concentrated enough this can heal pretty serious external wounds but is not very effective in the body.

Naruto read it very quickly, "Ok I understand, this is for me to heal my minor injuries." Naruto was happy about learning such a useful technique. "You and your teammates, don't forget you are part of a team. Don't become too strict as people won't like you, just look at my brother!" Hashirama said the last part in a laugh.

Naruto nodded and started. A greenish chakra surrounded his hand slowly, seeing this Naruto tried to concentrate the chakra in a sphere but the chakra dissipated almost instantly." this made Naruto a little confused, although his chakra control wasn't amazing it was pretty good.

"Slow down, medical ninjutsu cannot be rushed or you will fail every time. A lot of procedures can take hours to perform." said Hashirama in a 'don't give up!' voice. Naruto agreed and tried again.

Just like last time the chakra surrounded his hand and then couldn't be condensed into a sphere. "You are still rushing, somebody of your age shouldn't be able to do this unless they only studied medical ninjutsu. Keep your head up!" Hashirama always kept Naruto in a good mood.

Naruto continued to try but couldn't do it still. Hashirama had expected this, it seemed they would have to continue to work on this for a few more days until they could perform this technique, hopefully, they can get it down before the exams.

After training for a while more it was time for Naruto to train jutsu with Minato. Minato had told him to go to the library and get a book with the name 'the step above, wind jutsu!' he assumed they would have some B-ranks in there.

He was walking to the library carefree until he felt a huge amount of killing intent. He soon scanned the area and used the only amount of sensory he knew to find the person. He soon found a red-haired kid up on the roof looking at the civilians.

It was clear he was the one giving off the killing intent but why to the civilians? Naruto wondered. The red-haired kid named Gaara was watching the civilians, if he could he would paint this village red!

Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder, "And what exactly are you doing?" Not bothering to notice who it was he threw his sand backward, he knew if he didn't feel the person sneak up on him then they were strong.

A huge slash was made in the sand, it was caused by a sharp blade. Through the crack in the sand, a yellow-haired kid jumped through it and threw a punch. Before it could land a wall of sand came up and blocked it.

Gaara then wrapped his sand around the kid and squeezed but the kid turned into smoke, it was a shadow clone! He then attacked the real kid but before he could the blond flickered away. Naruto looked over on a large tree, he had just used the body flicker technique that Tobirama taught him.

Naruto was interested in this kid but decided not to push it any further, he didn't want to get the civilians involved. That would make him a real demon. Instead of staring at the angry kid more Naruto just headed back off to the library to get his book.

It didn't take him long to find the book he was looking for, he grabbed it and paid for it, and left. He walked home keeping his senses alert for the redhead kid. His walk home was fast and smooth with no problems.

After getting the book and sitting in front of his father he decided not to tell him about the fight he had with that other kid. "I will be teaching you a strong and useful B-rank jutsu. It is the easiest one I think to learn and won't explode anything this time." Minato said, scratching his head.

"Open to page 25 it should be there." Naruto opened the book and saw what jutsu he would be learning. It was called Vacuum Blade. The description was quite simple, 'the user creates a small blade of wind like a sword. The blade looks similar to a DNA strand. This blade is very sharp and dangerous.'

Naruto read over it, it was a decent first B-rank. They soon began working on the jutsu. It was a simple idea but kinda difficult to pull off. Making the blade wasn't the hard part, the hard part was keeping the blade up with the amount of control needed. This was another thing that would take a few days to complete. The chunin exams awaits
