The Truth

Sasuke got angry and confused, "Did you say protect?! You've got to be kidding!" the masked man sighed, "I will say it again. You think you know about your brother, but you know nothing." Sasuke got even angrier, "If you keep speaking such nonsense, I'll kill you!" The masked man almost had enough, "I guess it's not that easy to accept. Well, calm down, for I Madara Uchiha will tell you the truth about Itachi Uchiha!"

"Just get out of my sight! I killed him, I got my revenge!" "No! You will listen, you need to hear this. It is your obligation!" Sasuke continued to get angrier, what was there to hear? He killed his clan for the sake of power and now he's dead!

"For the sake of the ninja world, for the sake of the hidden leaf village, and for your sake, your brother risked everything. You will know how Itachi Uchiha lived!" Sasuke's skin was boiling from anger, "Shut up! Itachi murdered his clan, my clan!"

"Itachi was determined to make sure that you and I would never meet. You will understand why, as well as everything else when you hear me out." Sasuke was tempted to use Amaterasu on the orange masked man but knew it would not affect him, just like last time.

"Those who knew the truth about Itachi were Danzo, The third Hokage Hiruzen, and his advisors Homura and Koharu Just those four. Jiraiya of the Sannin might have known it as well but that I don't know. Hiruzen died and now, only the three aging folks know of his past. Still, those people will probably never reveal the abominable truth. The truth about Itachi will fade into the darkness forever. And that is what Itachi wished."

As I said earlier, Itachi died before he figured out I knew about his past. However, he undoubtedly wanted to make sure. It seems Itachi did not trust me. So just in case, I did know the truth, he did everything he could to keep us apart."

"What are you saying! If the truth about Itachi will change anything, then why do they keep the secret to themselves!?" the masked man laughed, "Because it is their fault, that Itachi murdered the Uchiha clan. Think back, think carefully and remember about Itachi. About your kind brother." Sasuke started to breathe harder and harder remembering his past.

-Flashback-

Sasuke was riding on Itachi's back looking at the police station. "What's wrong Sasuke?' Itachi asked nicely and calmly. "This is it right? The place where father works?" Itachi nodded, "This is the headquarters of the hidden leaf police force." Sasuke nodded, "I've always been curious, why is the Uchiha symbol on the police logo?"

"I'm surprised you noticed that Sasuke. Well, simply put, it's an organized police force created by our ancestors. And so, they used our family crest as the symbol of this organization. From ages past, our clan has been entrusted with the safety of the entire village. The Uchiha crest reflects the pride of our clan. While its numbers have dwindled, even today, nearly everyone in the clan serves on squad one. After all, only exceptional ninja are capable of preventing crimes that ninja commit."

Sasuke smiled big, "Father is great after all! Oh, brother are you going to work here too?" asked Sasuke curiously. "I wonder about that, if that's what you want, I want to impress you after all." "You should do it!" cheered Sasuke happily.

Sasuke looked up with anger all over his face, "No, he, he tried to kill me! He tried to take my eyes!" flashbacks of times with his brother came back to him, watching him throw shuriken, riding on his back on the way home, talking to him after his father yelled at him. And at last, him killing the clan.

Sasuke began to hyperventilate and started coughing like crazy. The masked man walked up to him, "Calm down. Breathe slowly." The masked man grabbed on to him to help him breathe better, "Don't touch me! You have to be lying! There's no way Itachi did anything to protect me!" Sasuke started screaming louder and throwing himself around.

The masked man cleanly knocked him out and tied him up with a rope. A few hours later Sasuke woke up and saw the masked man looking at him. "Sorry, but I took the liberty of tying you up. Since you weren't gonna stay still and listen to me."

After waking up Sasuke was much calmer, "Itachi, he was my enemy. He killed our parents, everyone in our clan. He was a rogue ninja, a member of the Akatsuki. He was despicable. So despicable I trained my whole life to kill him, he was my target."

"It's true that he annihilated the Uchiha clan that night. And that he deserted the hidden leaf. And that is what he was ordered to fo, by the hidden leaf." Sasuke's eyes opened wide, he couldn't believe this. How could his own village order his brother to kill everyone!

"That is the beginning of the truth about Itachi Uchiha. That night Itachi killed his personal feelings and fulfilled his mission. It seems you've calmed down a bit. In order to talk about Itachi, I must take you back to the early days when Konoha was founded. Itachi sacrificed himself. This is fate that has continued since ages past. He was sacrificed for it."

Sasuke was about to speak but the man cut him off, "If you want to know the truth about Itachi, and the truth about Konoha, I need one thing." Sasuke narrowed his eyes, "What is it?" "I need you to join the Akatsuki. Don't answer right now, think about it, I have some business to attend to at the moment." Before Sasuke could say anything he was gone.

-at the Uchiha hideout-

At the Uchiha hideout, there was a team of 3 ANBU members searching the area, they were from Sasuke's ANBU team. "Bull, have you found anything?" "No, I don't think Madara would stick around here, it's best we search somewhere else."

Before anyone else could answer they saw someone in the corner of their eye, it was Madara Uchiha! All three of them jumped back instantly, "Everyone get in formation. We can't go easy on him!" Rabbit and Bull nodded and got into position. Even if this was Madara, there was no way they would lose!

Hey basically all this month I have tests, so don't expect much. But once school is over I will update more until we finish this! After that, I will take a break for a little and then probably make another fanfic.

I was thinking maybe MHA, and maybe have like the 8 gates in it or something but IDK yet, I have a lot of ideas. Anyways bye!
