Before Time Skip
Jiraiya was sitting in his office. It had been a while since the escape of Orochimaru, he was thinking about what he wanted to do as Hokage. He really wanted to get rid of Dazo and his root but that was impossible. If he tried not only would the elders never agree neither would the civilian council. Even if he had the most power of one person in the village he was not all-powerful.
He was thinking about other things he could do that would be beneficial but Tsunade interrupted him. "Jiraiya, I don't think we can continue to send Naruto out on missions." Jiraiya had thought of this, even if he was on missions he would eventually have to return which would be a perfect striking time for the Akatsuki. "I already have some plans to get him strong enough to protect himself from even people like Itachi." Tsunade was surprised, "OK I will call them here." an ANBU member then left to get them.
Naruto had just returned from a mission, lately, he had been leading random task forces to improve leadership. It was apparently required for him to become a jonin, well that's what Jiraiya said. "Thank you, you were a great leader on the mission," said one of the members of his force. "Thanks, do you mind sending the report to the Hokage?" In every force for special jonins, there were two of them so either could submit the report, "Sure."
Naruto then walked off to train, he didn't know what he would train on but he would just make something up. That was until Sasuke walked up to him, Sasuke looked at his uniform, the only difference was the marking on the arm that signified you were a special jonin. Naruto's jacket was smaller than most, the reason was his healing, he didn't need as much protection as he would heal from most injuries.
"Do you want to spar? We never got our fight in the exams." Asked Sasuke, "Yeah sure, I don't have anything to do." Naruto and Sasuke walked over to a random training ground to begin the match, Naruto looked at his environment, there was water close by which was good, there were also plenty of trees for a good hiding spot if needed.
Naruto was going to start but Sasuke added, "One rule, no summoning." Naruto had no reason not to agree, "Ok let's start now." Sasuke activated his Sharingan ready for Naruto, "Come on, I will beat you this time.", "Sure, I hope you can fight for a little." Naruto also used something he had been practicing, after trying and trying to talk to the fox he finally managed to do it. After talking the fox allowed him to use a small amount of chakra from him to increase his power.
A small amount of red chakra flew out from Naruto, Sasuke was shocked he never expected anything like this! 'What is that red chakra?' Sasuke didn't know much about the fox Naruto ran full speed at Sasuke, Naruto was fast but not fast enough to completely outclass Sasuke with a three tomoe Sharingan. Sasuke had been improving on his taijutsu, he wasn't as good as Naruto but he was still catching up at a fast pace. "You have improved, good job." Said Naruto was impressed with Sasuke's growth.
Sasuke then kicked off Naruto, "Phoenix flower jutsu!" the miniature fireballs flew at Naruto who dodged them all skillfully. Naruto was going to get close again but a Chidori spear flew right past him almost cutting him. "Damn that was close," Naruto then body flicker getting close to Sasuke. "What?" even with his full Sharingan he barely saw Naruto get that close, "Chidori stream!" the electricity went wild in all directions forcing Naruto to body flicker away.
Seeing that getting close wouldn't be enjoyable he used his new jutsu, "Take this, Rasengan flash!" Naruto got this idea from the Chidori spear, the Rasengan stretched and shot like a beam at Sasuke. This blue beam shot across the training ground destroying multiple areas. Once the jutsu was over Sasuke came out of the ground, he used a jutsu he had copied from Kakashi.
Naruto walked over and picked him up, "you are getting stronger at a fast rate." Sasuke nodded, "Thanks, but I need more if I want to beat Itachi!" Naruto agreed, an ANBU member then hoped in front of them, "You have been summoned by Lord Hokage, go there at once." Naruto and Sasuke quickly left while the ANBU member looked at the damage, they were way too strong for their age.
When Sasuke and Naruto walked in Sakura and Kakashi were already there. "Ok good you are all here, first is Sakura, Tsunade has agreed to take you in along with some others like Hinata and Ino" Sakura nodded, "Thank you lady Tsunade." Jiraiya then continued, "Sasuke, you will be training alone with Kakashi, he has already made a plan for your training." Sasuke was excited, he would finally get much stronger!
Jiraiya then stood up, "The rest of you can leave, I have to speak to Naruto." the other members of team seven left leaving only Naruto and Jiraiya. "I have a plan for you, you will have three years to complete the things I want you to complete." Naruto nodded, he didn't know what he had to do but he expected three years to be enough.
Jiraiya then continued, "I first want you to master something that I never could, it is called Sage mode, it is achieved when you absorb nature energy and combine it with your own. Essentially becoming one with nature." Naruto had heard about this from his dad, it was probably something very difficult to learn.
"The second thing is the Rasengan, it is an incomplete jutsu. The reason for this is the jutsu has a change in chakra form but no change in chakra nature, so if you add chakra nature too then it will be complete. In your case that would be water or wind, I would go with wind as it is meant for cutting. Also once you have completed that you still have the rest of the time to train." Naruto knew about the Rasengan and how it was incomplete, he actually already had some ideas for it.
"Where will I be training?" Jiraiya nodded his head, "Mount Myoboku, it the home of the toads, I will summon Fukusaku, he can then reverse summon you to Mount Myoboku. I will give you a day to pack, I suggest you bring food, toads don't have a good appetite believe me!" said Jiraiya thinking about the food, just thinking about it made him sick. Naruto then went to collect his things, his three year training would begin soon!

Well that's the end of the chapter, what did you think? Should I include Sasuke's training? I think I will because it will make some interesting chapters but let me know what you think.
