ANBU vs Akatsuki
Hidan was swinging his scythe around desperately trying to hit the ANBU members attacking him, but these were probably the two fastest members in the group! Hidan couldn't land a hit on any of them. "Rabbit, keep up the barrage I will try to sever his head with my strings." "Yes sir!" replied Usagi. Usagi quickly ran in, she took out her two special daggers and attacked. She used one of the daggers to block Hidan's attacks and the other to attack him. Both the daggers and scythe collided creating sparks in the air.
Her daggers were made with not only chakra conductive metal but also poison, when chakra was put into the blade poison would cover the blade. It was one of the technological advancements made with Jiraiya as Hokage, it was only available to the ANBU and special jonin for now. Usagi threw one of her daggers at Hidan but Hidan dodged, but little did he know he fell into a trap! When he dodged backward he felt himself unable to move, "What the hell is this!" Hidan cut the string as soon as he felt it getting tighter. He was able to cut it and save his life but he lost his left arm in response.
"Damn you atheist jerks!" Souei was mad that he missed the opportunity to end the fight. Souei then retreated again, he was best at setting up traps and catching opponents off guard, not in a head-on fight. "Oni, catching him off guard will be difficult a second time." "Yeah I know, luckily he isn't the smartest of the bunch." Souei would now go with another plan, he had to take his scythe. "I will show you the will of Jashin!" Hidan jumped down on them crushing the ground, Usagi and Souei barely dodged. Hidan swung his blade sideways at Usagi, she put her daggers up and blocked the attack but lost one of her daggers, Usagi launched a counter-attack and hit Hidan as Hidan expected to take no damage. But this poison was not a deadly poison, it was a paralysis poison!
Souei took this opportunity and took Hidan's scythe and covered him in his chakra strings. "Idiot, I can never die, lord Jashin will never forgive you!" even if Hidan could move now he didn't have a weapon and he was tied up. Souei walked up to one of the strings and pulled on it hard. Hidan's head flew off his body, Usagi caught his head and tied it up in bandages, and put a temporary seal on him. Souei walked up to Usagi, "With his head severed from his body he probably can't move his lower body, we have won this battle but from our intel, he is one of the weakest members, we are still too weak to deal with the Akatsuki as a whole." Usagi nodded.
-Earlier with Sasuke and Honzu vs Kakuzu-
"Wind release, extreme pressure!" Sasuke used his raw speed to dodge the attack but Honzu had to take the attack head-on, but it wasn't a big deal, Honzu had natural high power and he knew some medical ninjutsu to heal himself, he might use the same technique as Tsunade to increase his power. Sasuke charged at Kakuzu with his Chidori, Kakuzu grabbed Sasuke's arm and threw him into the building behind him. Honzu threw a punch at Kakuzu but he was too slow to hit him, Kakuzu thought that even one full-powered hit from Honzu could take out one of his hearts.
Before he could do anything he felt something pierce his back, "Damn you." he looked back and saw Sasuke with strange lightning extended from his arm. The heart containing the wind-style jutsu broke off of his back, both of them knew this meant he had lost one of his hearts. Sasuke then appeared next to Honzu, "Bull, we already took out one of his hearts, let's keep this up." "Yes captain." Honzu performed some hand seals so fast the regular human eye could barely keep track, "Earth dome jutsu!" a giant dome arose from the ground trapping Kakuzu inside. Honzu then used his signature jutsu, "Partial expansion jutsu!" that's right, Honzu is from the Akimichi clan! Honzu's giant fist slammed into the wall crushing the dome and destroying another one of Kakuzu's hearts!
Sasuke was still surprised by his power, in all honesty, he expected the Akatsuki to completely overpower them, but then again they were facing some of the weaker members. Well, they had to take care of the weaker members before the stronger ones, Sasuke still couldn't help but think how far away he was from Itachi. "Bull, he has only 3 hears remaining, I have a plan to take them all out at once but I need time before I can do that, I need you to buy me some." "No problem!" Sasuke jumped back, he was planning to use Kirin but the setup for that jutsu would take a while and would be near impossible while fighting Kakuzu in hand-to-hand combat.
Sasuke began to ready his jutsu, because there were no thunder clouds he had to create them by using powerful fire techniques to produce the necessary storm conditions. He would need to use his strongest fire jutsu to create the clouds, it would take a lot of chakra to use but it may be able to end this fight in one shot. Sasuke started on his jutsu and Honzu got ready to fight Kakuzu alone, who will win?
