Naruto : Behind The Scenes Big Boss System

My name is now Uchiha Gen. I was adopted by my uncle, and I have a cousin with a constant smug "legendary prodigy" look on his face—Uchiha Madara. I also have another cousin who’s perpetually annoyed by me but doesn’t dare say it because he can't beat me. His name is Uchiha Izuna. Then there's this absurd system I got stuck with, called the “Behind-the-Scenes Big Boss System.” Every day, it urges me to go and conquer the world, constantly threatening me with “elimination” if I don’t comply... for an Early Access to more than 200 chaps A month , feel free to join us on : Patreon.com/IndifferentVillain

Madara’s Unusual Behavior

(important notice at the end of chapter!!!)

No matter how fierce the battles on the battlefield raged, they had nothing to do with Gen. He was deeply engrossed in his leisurely life, enjoying it to the fullest.

Every day, he would monitor the progress of his young maid's chakra training, give her a few pointers, and then head to the Uchiha clan's training ground to mentor the new generation with dedication. This was a long-term endeavor aimed at engraving his prestige in the hearts of the younger generation.

After these sessions, Gen would leave the clan grounds to practice ninjutsu on his own. He scattered kunai all over the place and practiced the Flying Thunder God technique intensively, striving to enhance his adaptability to spatial manipulation.

Simultaneously, he delved into research on the Rasengan, aiming to enhance its power—preferably transforming it into the Great Ball Rasengan. He also attempted to integrate elemental transformations into the Rasengan, hoping to eventually create something like the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. However, progress in this area remained slow.

He had even tested the power of Kamui in secret, twisting and absorbing everything in his path into another dimension. As a trump card, it proved highly effective, though the side effects were severe. Gen vividly remembered the searing pain in his Sharingan after testing the technique, almost convincing him that he had gone blind.

Fortunately, he recovered the next day, but the experience left him drenched in cold sweat. Upon reflection, he realized that Kamui was originally a Mangekyo technique, placing immense strain on the Sharingan. Even with Mangekyo, excessive use could lead to blindness, let alone with his current Three Tomoe Sharingan. This insight deterred him from using Kamui again.

It wasn't until he stumbled across the system's exchange option for restoring Sharingan vision that he felt relief. At least he no longer had to fear permanent blindness. However, the cost was steep—10,000 points per restoration.

Time passed, and a month flew by. Gen's mastery of ninjutsu grew increasingly refined, and his research on the Rasengan began to show promise. He believed he was close to creating the Great Ball Rasengan, though adding elemental transformations still required further effort.

---

In a quiet forest, Uchiha Gen stood motionless, his Three Tomoe Sharingan slowly rotating. He held three shuriken in each hand, and small targets were set up in tricky positions around him, unreachable with a straightforward throw.

A single leaf drifted down, aligning perfectly with Gen's brow. In an instant, his figure vanished, reappearing mid-air. His shuriken flew in two rapid volleys. The second set overtook the first mid-flight, colliding and altering their trajectories.

Landing softly, Gen glanced up. All six shuriken had struck the targets dead center. The leaf, meanwhile, only just touched the ground.

"Alright, time to head back."

Packing up the shuriken and targets into his personal storage space, Gen mock-wiped imaginary sweat from his brow and began making his way home.

When he entered his courtyard, the young maid was sweeping fallen cherry blossoms. While beautiful in the air, the blossoms fell quickly and were a chore to clean.

Upon seeing Gen, the maid gestured toward the Wind and Rain Pavilion with an exaggeratedly haughty tilt of her head, prompting Gen to chuckle. It was obvious that Uchiha Madara had arrived, and the maid's imitation of his demeanor was surprisingly accurate.

---

Ascending to the second floor of the pavilion, Gen found Madara seated by the window, his face alight with satisfaction. A spread of wine was laid out before him, and he seemed to be enjoying himself thoroughly.

"Wow, you've really made yourself at home," Gen quipped as he stepped inside, silently grumbling to himself.

Madara turned, beaming, and said, "Finally back? I've already poured your share. Come, sit!"

With a gesture as casual as if he were the host, Madara pointed to the seat across from him.

"This guy not only treats my house like his own but acts like the host now?" Gen thought, silently ridiculing him before taking the seat. Something about Madara's cheerful demeanor felt off. This wasn't the same stoic and domineering Madara he knew—the whole atmosphere felt wrong.

"Come, drink!" Madara poured a glass of sake for Gen.

Gen eyed him suspiciously, hesitant to take the cup. Though it was a rare honor to have the legendary villain pour him a drink, the situation felt eerie. He activated his Sharingan to inspect the sake for any tampering.

"What are you up to? I'll tell you now—I'm not going to the battlefield," Gen said warily.

Madara burst out laughing and drained his own cup. By all accounts, they were still kids, and drinking should have been forbidden. But in the war-torn Sengoku era, children matured quickly, and these two, lacking self-discipline, treated the alcohol more like juice.

"Relax, brother. No battlefields today. Let's drink first; we'll talk after," Madara said cheerfully, raising his glass again.

Seeing this, Gen finally relaxed, downing his sake in one gulp. The slightly spicy liquid slid down his throat, leaving a unique aftertaste. Judging from Madara's cheerful tone and the way he called himself "big brother," Gen could tell the man was in an unusually good mood.

After a few rounds, Gen, slightly tipsy, leaned back and asked, "Alright, out with it—what's brought you here? You're acting way too strange today."

Madara grinned, "Father gave me a task today, and I think we should tackle it together. It's not a battlefield mission."

"A mission from the clan leader?" Gen's eyes narrowed. After being burned by a previous clan mission, he was especially cautious now.

He probed further, but Madara's evasive responses only increased his suspicions. Finally, he slammed the table and declared, "Forget it! I'm not going. Whoever wants to do it can go."

Reluctantly, Madara admitted, "Fine, it's true that the mission was assigned to me alone. But I figured teaming up with you would increase our chances of success. It's not a battle task, so don't leave me hanging."

Gen tapped the table thoughtfully. "Show me the mission details first."
