Chapter 7: The Truth
"I just got into a fight that is all." Sasuke brushed off his wounds without giving it any second thought or care. He was always a fighter till the end. So getting into fights really didn't bother him. He was an efficient and skillful assassin without any morals or emotions, he was much like Itachi, but not really the same, he was different in his own way kind of like Madara. Sasuke was a reborn warrior and avenger.
"With who?" Izumi's mother calmly asked Sasuke as she gently wipes the blood from his nose and lips. She really was a caring mother who loved her children she even cared for Sasuke even though he wasn't her child. Caring and beautiful, she was the ideal woman and mother.
"With some bullies and Itachi," Izumi says with a sigh as she shakes her head at her Sasuke brash actions.
"WHAT!?" Izumi's mother screams out with widen eyes as she drops the plates she was washing.
"Is everything alright Izuna?"Says a man with medium-short brown hair that was tied up in a ponytail. He was the father of Izumi. He had line-scar down at his neck after being slashed badly in a secret mission.
"Isn't Itachi that young prodigy in the academy, the oldest child of Uchiha Fugaku, the leader of the Konoha Military Police Force and our Clan. Itachi is the Genin everyone talks about in this village the one who has awakened his Sharingan at an early age. And you must be Sasuke who is his younger brother" Izuna says with a big sigh. He knew her son was now in trouble.
"Yes indeed he is. However, he is very quiet and mature for his age. He is not the type to pick fights. Unlike you!" Izumi's father points his finger Sasuke in a scolding way.
"Whatever," Sasuke quickly says as he just walks towards his Izumi's room and gets ready to inspect and arrange his Ninja System and figure out all of his current powers and Jutsu techniques.
Suddenly the front door is knocked.
*Knock!Knock!* The sounds of forceful knocks echo across the shrine temple house.
"Who can that be?" Izuna opens the door and stops midway, her jaw drops at the sight before her. Izumi was also shocked.
Right in front of Izuna and Izumi was Fugaku and his wife Mikoto. Itachi was right there ready to pick up Sasuke.
Sasuke and Itachi stare down each other.
'Am I really an Uchiha? The more I think about it...I look nothing like Itachi or his mother and father. My hair color and eyes, and even my powers are different than an Uchiha? I need to find out the truth of my bloodline and if this really is my family... But what are these memories entering my mind? It is like I have two lives?' Sasuke sees visions of his past when he was reborn. Was he first reborn as baby in the Naruto World? Or was he reborn into someone else's body? He needed to find out the truth quick if he wanted to understand his bloodline powers more and how his path will be chosen. He needs to plan for his dream...But what exactly was his dream? His purpose? His destiny? All that was about to unfold soon. Right now he was about to have dinner with Itachi and his family. He was going to ask questions during this strange situation.
