Something Shocking

After Eros left, Namara immediately put her clothes back on. She's out looking for Ilene. Currently, the woman is sitting at the back of the building, embroidering cloth.

"Ilene, do you know where Xanda's room is?" Namara asked without a preamble.

"Why? Are you rejected today?" Ilene asked without taking her attention from the embroidery. Somehow it sounded mocking to Namara.

"Yes. So what? I still won't give up," replied Namara.

Finally, Ilene looked at Namara. She shook her head. "I thought you were a sane woman, but you're just as crazy as they are."

Namara felt a little stunned after hearing that comment. Crazy? Is she out of her mind now? It's hard to admit. After all, she has purpose and reasons.

"Where's Xanda's room?" Not wanting to argue, Namara finally asked again.

"She is Miss 9. You can look for her in Room 9," Ilene replied.

"Thank you."

Namara immediately went to look for room number 9. This building is large, some even say that this brothel is the largest on the continent of Saint Kingglen. It seems so.

Honestly, Namara doesn't know the ins and outs of buildings very well. It took her time to search. Now she was passing through a long corridor which of course was dark because the nuance of this building was indeed dark.

Namara continued through the corridor until she heard the voices of several women joking. When she came out of the corridor she saw several women who were sitting relaxed with some snacks at the table.

No Xanda or anyone else known. So Namara just passed by, ignoring them. However, before going any further, she heard someone talking about her.

"Look, look. It was a new woman who made Eros angry," said a woman wearing tight clothes.

"Oh, that's she? I've heard the gossip not long ago."

The woman, who numbered five people, immediately dropped their eyes on Namara. They watched Namara's figure from top to bottom as if they were skinning something.

"Just ordinary. What's so good about a woman from the Sun clan? I think you're still the most beautiful, Nera," said a short-haired woman who had the smallest body.

The woman in the tight clothes who turned out to be named Nera immediately chuckled happily at her friend's compliment.

"Of course. Besides, my sister has been chosen by Eros. So, you must know how I look," said Nera proudly.

"That's right. You sisters do have an equally beautiful appearance," said another woman.

Nera studied Namara with a grin. "You know? She was just summoned to meet Mr. Eros. Ah, I don't know what happened in there. However, seeing her flat face I don't think there is anything good there," said Nera, sounding so mocking.

"After all, did Mr. Eros likes women from another clan? What else did the Sun clan ever have conflicts with the Black Wings clan."

"Hahaha. The Sun Clan is no good at all. They can only play with the power of fire. What good is that?"

Namara closed her eyes while clenching her palms. Are they badmouthing the Sun clan? Are they teasing her?

Namara's footsteps stopped. She spun around and stared at the group of gossipers evenly. "If you don't like me then just talk about me. Why are you talking bad about my clan too?"

The short-haired woman who was previously flattering to Nera now looks at Namara sarcastically. She snorted. "Of course it's none of your business. Does someone need to ask your permission if want to talk about something?"

"No. However, I do not allow someone to demonize the Sun clan until their voice can be heard in my ears," said Namara. She didn't like someone badmouthing the Sun clan.

The short-haired woman couldn't believe Namara would answer and show her dislike so openly. Everyone should know that the Nera group is quite a household name in this house. Who dares to make trouble with them?

However, this Namara is too stupid or something?

"Look, Nera. Looks like she has a lot of courage."

Nera propped her chin while staring at Namara. "Then what? What can you do to stop us from talking about your clan?" She chuckled.

"After all, who are you? I think you're just a commoner over there. Why defend the clan you left behind? Aren't you a bitch here now?" Nera continued without noticing Namara's dark expression.

"Even if I was a bitch, I would be much more respectable than you," replied Namara sarcastically.

"What did you say?" Nera asked afraid that her hearing was wrong.

Namara just stared at Nera sarcastically. Arguing with such a woman would consume too much nonsense. She better get out of there.

Without answering Nera's question, she immediately turned around to continue the step that had been delayed.

Unfortunately, Nera still doesn't want to end the conversation. Her eyes stared at Namara's figure sharply and her mouth began muttering long-distance incantations.

Namara's body immediately felt cold. She got goosebumps a little. Suddenly her footsteps stopped. Her body felt as if it was bound by an invisible rope.

What happened?

Namara tried to rebel. However, she couldn't. The more rebellious the bond becomes, the stronger it becomes. Now she began to feel short of breath.

"I was wondering, why are you who are only newcomers so brave in front of me? I thought because you have high strength. It was not so," commented Nera who then stood up from her chair.

Nera walked towards Namara. "You are just a stupid woman who doesn't know your abilities!" scolded Nera, followed by scorn. She gripped Namara's arm tightly.

"Do you know who I am?" Nera hissed.

"Who is it?" asked Namara who was still not afraid.

"Nera! I am Nera, the woman who is the favorite of the visitors here. Do you know?!" snapped Nera. The woman in front of her made her angry.

"I do not know."

Nera became even angrier at Namara's answer. Is that woman challenging her?!

Seeing Nera's face, which looks worse, makes Namara pensive. She tries to remember, but it is during her stay in the brothel that she just finds out that there is someone named Nera. She couldn't be lying, could she?

"You bastard!" growled Nera. Her hand lifted and black smoke immediately appeared in her hand. As fast as lightning, the smoke shot attacking Namara and ...

Boom!

A powerful explosion was immediately heard. The room there shook for a few moments. When the impact of the explosion wore off, something surprising was finally revealed.

The person who was thrown away wasn't Namara, but Nera! How could this happen?

Namara stared in surprise at the figure of Nera who had fallen several meters away from her. Then she turned to research her own body which was fine. Even the magical bonds that had previously bound her body were gone.

What happened? Namara felt quite confused and surprised.

Not only Namara, but the group of women who were happy to gossip also felt shocked. How could Nera be defeated? Even though they saw clearly that Namara did nothing.

Had that woman been secretly hiding her strength in front of Nera? Various assumptions began to enter their minds.
