Namara stepped in through the previous path followed by Elise. When she arrived near the stairs there happened to be a maid who had just entered the Star Palace. The waiter brought two boxes arranged top to bottom.
"Ah, what a coincidence," said the maid who then approached Namara. "Miss, lunch is ready," she said.
Namara was about to accept it herself, but Elise had already taken it. "Thank you," said Elise. The maid just smiled and turned to leave.
Hattchhii!
"Why doesn't the Star Palace have its kitchen?" asked Namara in her nasal voice. She no longer cared about her sneezing.
"There is also a kitchen here. However, because Mr. Eros is not always in the palace, the kitchen is barely used," explained Elise.
"So you guys received food from the main palace kitchen?" Elise nodded.
"Isn't that troublesome? Where is the kitchen by the way?" asked Namara while walking up the stairs. She pretended to ask that on a whim.
"That's… a little hard to explain. Miss, you know this palace is very big. If I explain maybe you won't be able to understand it."
Elise's reply was quite disappointing for Namara. She was eager to know where it was. Then she could infiltrate the kitchen and poison their food.
Hahaha ... That idea sounds so simple and trivial. However, Namara knows to achieve it she will need a lot of effort and time.
Namara stopped in front of the large room across from the room. She sat on the chair, then Elise opened the box containing the lunch.
Several plates of different foods were placed on the table. Amongst the food was a piece of roast duck which gave off a wine scent.
Seeing the food made her think of her father. Her father used to like a duck that was soaked in wine before roasting. The scent is very authentic.
Elise took hand washing water and gave it to Namara. She had to admit, there Namara got good treatment from the maids. At least they weren't as cruel as she imagined.
"Miss, eat please. After this you should rest to recuperate," said Elise.
Namara was just about to pick up the roast duck when she suddenly heard footsteps from the end of the stairs. She reflexively turned her head and immediately saw the man, Eros along with Lyco.
Namara felt bad. Moreover, the expressions of the two men looked quite gloomy and cold. Don't tell if the two of them already knew about her meeting with Leor?
Namara and Elise looked at each other. Honestly, they both feel the same way. Angry and worried.
Eros stopped in her tracks not far from Namara. "Did you just see Leor?" His voice sounded cold, unfriendly, and… Namara could feel anger in it.
"Sir-"
"My Lord, it was Mr. Leor who requested that Miss Namara come to see him. It was not Miss's fault," said Elise who immediately cut off Namara's words.
"And you let her go?" Eros stared coldly at Elise. "Don't you already know the rules that apply here?!"
Elise's body trembled slightly. She immediately knelt on the floor in fear. "Sir, I'm sorry."
Eros snorted. "Lyco, give her the punishment she deserves!"
He had warned the maids never to come into contact with Leor. However, today Elise herself took Namara to meet the man. He never tolerated anyone's faults.
"Yes, Sir!"
"Sir, don't, please! I can't possibly refuse Master Leor's request. He is the… future clan head." Elise tried to plead and beg for understanding, but Lyco dragged her away anyway.
Namara bit her lip guiltily. "She's innocent, Sir. I should be the one being punished," she whispered.
Eros looked directly at Namara coldly. "You think you won't be punished?" After that, he immediately dragged Namara to the room.
"I will punish the sex slave who did something wrong!" he hissed.
Namara grimaced as Eros gripped her wrist. It felt like the man had exerted a lot of force to crush her wrist.
She tried to struggle, but Eros paid no heed at all. That guy is really scary when he's angry.
Brakkkk!
Eros closed the door violently then threw Namara to the ground. The thrust was so strong that Namara's temple accidentally hit the marble wall.
Her head immediately felt dizzy. Her hand moved to her head. She can feel something damp in there. Turns out her temple was bleeding.
"Are you in cahoots with Leor?" asked Eros with great emphasis. He didn't even care about Namara's injuries.
"No," replied Namara. She gritted her teeth against the anger that was starting to take over her heart.
"Then why does he want to meet you?!" snapped Eros.
Namara held her breath. Now she was even more certain that Eros and Leor must have a hidden conflict. However, right now she couldn't think much. Her body is not limp, her head is also dizzy.
"Useless!" Eros raised his hand then a silver whip instantly appeared.
Namara's reflex shuddered at that. Her body instantly shrunk to the wall. Her face only grew paler.
"You've been flogged by Verna, but you've never felt how I lashed," said Eros quietly.
Namara's body became tense. She shook her head a few times. No, she didn't want to be whipped. The pain of the past lashes still imprinted on her mind very clearly.
"My Lord, please forgive me. I promise… never to see him again," said Namara. There was a tremor in her voice. She was afraid.
Too bad Eros isn't that good. He raised his hand and a loud lashing sound immediately echoed along with Namara's heartbreaking scream.
"You know what you did wrong now?!"
Slaasshh!
Once again Namara felt the sting of pain. A red line was instantly imprinted on her clothes. She couldn't help but scream. It hurt tens of times more than Verna's lashes.
"I promise… never to see him again," Namara repeated her words.
Eros walked over to Namara and dragged her onto the bed. "You won't understand if you don't get punished," he said. His eyes were still cold, a sign that anger was still gripping him.
Namara became more and more scared. The man didn't want to stop her sentence. Then she saw Eros violently tearing her clothes. Now she's getting naked.
Eros raised his whip again and Namara couldn't help but close her eyes in fear. Once again the painful lash hit her bare skin.
Once….
Twice ….
Three times ….
Namara screamed. Her voice echoed throughout the room. Tears trickled down her cheeks. However, it was a mistake.
"Don't cry in front of me!" snapped Eros. It was a rule that Eros had said before.
Finally, Namara stopped crying. Slowly she wiped her tears. That's right, she couldn't just sit back and surrender like this.
She had to think…. She had to think.
Eros was about to whip again. It was at that moment that Namara immediately raised a hand to stop him.
"Please, stop… stop. I see you have a dispute with Mr. Eros. Yes…, right?" asked Namara a little scared.
Sure enough. Eros instantly stopped his lashes. Then the man looked at Namara suspiciously.
"So you conspired with Leor?" He hissed.
