Lundan East District, Bedford Shipyard.
The nighttime harbor was shrouded in a gossamer mist. Whenever the fog gradually dissipated towards the sea, a gentle breeze would sweep it towards the shore, preventing it from spreading outward.
This fog existed only in Lundan!
Moonlight filtered through the thin mist and spilled onto the surface of the harbor, creating a blurry silver halo. Distant ships were barely visible, their faint lights like tiny stars lost in a dream.
The fog returned to the harbor with the sea breeze, bringing bursts of the sea's salty scent. The quiet bay at night was rarely rowdy with human activity; there were only soft waves lapping against the boats and the distant sound of ship horns as they approached the shore.
It was extremely quiet.
Every night, in some corners unknown to most, lights were lit, figures moved about, and quiet conspiracies whispered.
