The meaning of life is manifold, often intersecting with concepts such as religion, philosophy, consciousness and soul, morality, good and evil. Clashing together, the answers are varied.

Wayne wasn't a philosopher; as a mage, he contemplated life based on what he learned through personal insights and the theories of the Magic Realm.

Magic is about balance, about evolution; the human body is akin to the universe, and the evolution of a mage reflects the development and changes of the universe—self-growth, reproduction, will, evolution...

These both fit within the meaning of life and fall into the category of the universe.

The so-called life is, in essence, the universe.
