Holy Waters of Atonement
"We're in trouble now!" Elwin whispered, as he and Cassidy nervously pulled out their weapons, ready for a fight. The hall in which they were standing started to tremble. A massive sound echoed between the stone walls, as if an earthquake was coming. Then, four stone soldiers emerged from the walls, appearing suddenly like specters. They held huge axes and wore dazzling magical armor. Their gaze was cold and resolute, their pace slow but steady as they approached Elwin and Cassidy.
"It seems we must defeat these stone soldiers to take the Grail," Elwin said, gripping his long dagger with a determined look. Cassidy nodded, took a deep breath, and held her long sword tight.
Back to back, they stood in the center of the hall as the stone soldiers advanced. The sound of swords clashing with axes echoed throughout the room, sparks flying. No matter how they attacked, the magical armor of the stone soldiers remained unmoved, like an impenetrable barrier.
