CHAPTER-35 WAR COMMAND DEPARTMENT

A middle Age teacher was exiting Mary's office after a brief discussion regarding a certain mater. After the teacher left the office, Mary let out a helpless sigh `what a kid, really if he was able to open his first soul lock he should had came to me instead of showing off in the academy`.

Kai don't even know that his yesterday performance has become a gossip among first grade students and eventually reached the ears of teaching council. Just now was the head of war command department Kazama Kuro who has come to request for Kai's transfer from blacksmith department to the war command department.

Kazama's request was completely reasonable, as Kai's abilities as a control system soul wielder gave him an edge in war command department but his request was rejected by Mary by her point that every student as a right to choose their profession and neither teachers nor the academy has any right to force him to chose another profession.

If it was any other teacher than they would not dare to do anything after such a direct rejection but Kazama his different because as the head of the war command department he is not under the command of Mary but of the imperial army.

His work is to secure rare talents as candidate for imperial army and this is not any secret but a common fact known to all. Even many of the students takes admission in the surya academy for joining the imperial army and it's the duty of the head of the war command department to determine whether the students are feat for the role of imperial soldiers or not.

It is not easy to find suitable candidates especially when many of the students belongs to big clan it becomes even more difficult to pull them in the army, as teachers their duty is to guide students not to force them.

But it doesn't mean that he can't try to convince students themselves to join the army, in Kazama's view Kai is a perfect candidate for imperial army even though he knows that Kai belongs from the former Rudra empire's imperial family but he he don't know that Kai is not jus a member of the family but the former crown prince.

He thinks that Rudra empire have already fall and there is no chance for its revival so it is better for those soul wielders whether they were former nobles or imperial family members to just live their remaining life as normal citizens of land they are in, in his view it is already very generous of Surya empire to accept those refugees.

Kazama is a very knowledgeable person and knows the history of both empires. Actually the royal families of but empires have a very deep blood ties as they are the descendants of same ancestors, the nation had to be divided when two geniuse brothers were born in the same generation.

Even though the younger brother with mutant bloodline was better than the older brother, he didn't fought for bigger land but accept the smaller piece of land given to him which later developed into the rudra empire and in a way all its citizens are native of Surya empire.

Mary don't have any time to think about all this she just hope that Kai would not cause any more problem for her but also at the same time she is amazed at his rapid progress, there had been some geniuses in the history of Surya academy who had open their first soul lock in the first year but none of them was able to achieve that feat in their first semester like Kai.

Mary write something on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. She exit her office and released her aura, soon Ema appeared beside her.

"I need to go see master, you take care of academy" Mary said and fly out of the academy heading south towards the capital.

On the other hand Kai completely oblivious of all these thing directly went mission department, taking on a mission and head to golden wood forest.

But he was not alone, Tony, Ria and Sera who his not even a working student followed him. Tony and Ria have their own respective missions while Sera just wanted to accompany them.

"So grandma don't want anyone else to know about Kai's mutated martial soul until principal himself make a decision". Sera explain Tony and Ria the reason for cancelling their small match with Dazzlings.

"you saw their faces this morning? Its like someone has stolen their goods" Tony comment in a joking manner.

"what is so good about it, we also lost an important opportunity to prove ourself" Ria said in disappointment, she is still not satisfied with her performance last time.

"Sorry guys I know it is because of me but I think this is a good was a good thing"

"Good thing?" Sera repeated with confusion at Kai's explanation.

"How long it has been since Tony and Ria became soul fighter? Just few days, our cultivation base is not comparable to them, now that we have right time to make ourselves stronger. Recently both my body and martial soul have gone through big changes of which I have not adjusted yet".

"On the other hand although Tony's cultivation speed has increased but his cultivation will still take some time to catch up with dazzlings" Kai calmly explain his point and he is completely right, not only he and Tony but also Ria herself has got a chance to become stronger under the guidance of Ema who took Ria as her personal disciple.

And there is also Sera who despite being youngest among four of them still has the highest cultivation, both her spear techniques and ice control is also becoming better day by day. Kai expect her to open her soul lock before the third semester.
