CHAPTER 2 MYRIAD SPIRIT BIRD

Mary retreat her hand and say "Don't think too much about the past if you really want to do something for your parents then you should become strong enough that you would never need to run again".

"Now show me your Martial Soul" Kai nodded and released his Martial Soul as a Pair of pure white feather wings with cyanblue radiance appear on his back, three white halos also appear around him. These are soul ring, when a soul user reach level 10 a soul ring naturally appears. One more sou ring will appear on every ten level interval, while the colour of soul ring represent the user's attribute.

Kai's three ring shows that he is above level thirty while his soul ring is white because his Martial Soul is a normal type which grows affinity with different elements with its growth.

"My Martial Soul soul is a rare ancient bird 'Myrian Spirit Bird' I am a control system soul user".

"Ah, you don't have Shiva family's wind dragon Martial Soul?" She asked. Even though Kai's Martial Soul is rather good but it is still can't be compare father's Wiind Dragon Martial Soul. In terms of skills this Martial Soul Kai more skills but its attack power is not so great.

"I inherited this Martial Soul from my mother who was also a control system soul user" Kai replied.

"I understand that you are an orphan now but let me tell If you want to study here by getting scholarship then it is not so easy. You are not the only talented person in this empire there are kids that are even better than you". In this country system of scholarship is very simple you need to work for the academy for covering the fees.

Kai nodded in acknowledgement.

Kai followed Mary's instructions and went to the boys dormitory where he pass a later that Mary gave him to an another man who look to be a guard. The man gave him a room key.

His room is number 7. He entered the room, every dormitory room is for four students to share. The rooms don't have anything inside except four wooden beds.

Kai place a wooden plate on a side of the first bed with his name written on it. There was no bed sheets or anything else in this room except dust, which means his roommates might not have arrive.

As Kai looked at the dust he release his Martial Soul and white wings again appear on his back, he stretch out his right hand, suddenly fast wind start to flow that gather all the dust in the room and and form dust ball.

Kai made a flapping motion with his right hand and the dust ball flow out of side window. This is the quality of his Martial Soul which them control over wind element.

Myriad Spirit Bird which is already extinguished from the continent was a rare soul beast. The user of this Martial Soul get an innate attribute of wind after reaching level ten, but an another attribute will also appear at level 30 which is random and can be any attribute.

Same thing will happen at level 50, 70 and 90, which means a saint with myriad spirit bird Martial Soul can manipulate five different elements. But this Martial Soul is still not consider a top tier Martial Soul why? Because no matter how many attribute its user got he can't use high level attacks of any of the element.

For the high level soul masters stronger skills are more important to several weak still. No matter how many moves you have it would become useless if you can't even break your opponents defense.

Kai pull out a bedsheet from his storage type tool and spread it on his bed. After that he sat crossed legged on the bed and entered a meditative state, the scholarship test will happen at the noon so he want to be prepare for the test.

Actually Kai is very amazed by the vice principal who seems to be able to completely see through him, she figured out that he is from rudra empire by just his name.

As he just has entered the meditation he filled someone's arrival and subconsciously open his eyes. It is a chubby boy about the same age as Kai, he is wearing plain clothes which means he is also a working student.

He entered the room and place his bed on an empty bed as he don't see any dust on it he also subconsciously looked at Kai.

Kai smile and say "hello I am Kai what's your name".

The boy become little flustered at Kai's unexpected greeting " he-hello my name is Tony I am a new student if I passed the scholarship test".

"Well same goes for me" Kai chuckle while reply.

Tony looked at Kai's robe in surprise and asked "are you also a working student?" He was a little doubtful as he thought that Kai belongs to some rich family by his clothes.

"Well you can say I am a fallen noble" Kai.

While they were talking tony has also put a his bedsheet on his bed. After their small chat both of them went to their on bed and started meditation, Tony is visibly much more nervous than Kai.

Just after Kai leaved an another person came to Mary's office. It is a girl of the same age as Kai, she has pure black hair and pupils.

She knock at the door and say "can I come in grandma".

"come in Sera" Mary.

The girl name Sera open the door and walk in, she seems to have something in her mind as she look at Mary and ask "grandma that boy just now, was his name Kai?".

Mary nodded "yes he was also from rudra empire, do you know".

Sera nodded "grandma did you forget I told you about him, he is the crown prince of the empire. But why was he here".

Mary frow as she recall what Sera has told her before and she can't help but smile bitterly `how did I forgot such an important thing`.
