Elias was standing on the Sand waiting for the sun or the Birds to kill him but the grotesque babies, with their black soaked skin, grey eyes, and black rotten tongue were sticking to his body!

The largest baby was influencing Elias to kill more of its kind for one reason, to regain his Eyesight!

The two tiny babies with dangling umbilical cords that slipped through Elias' eyes had informed their Elder Brother of the extent of the eye damage.

Wure Liquid had destroyed Elias's iris, sclera and nerve cells that helped the eyes capture images and sent them to the brain for processing.

And to fix it, the two tiny fist-size babies, transformed into Eyes of the Deep. Their size further reduced, their black soaked skin became white soaked skin, their pupilless turned pitch black, more of Starless, Moonless Dark Night! And their umbilical cord shrunk to normal…

...then they fused with Elias' eyes, reviving the organ, from utter cessation but that wasn't enough, it took the death of hundreds of Children of The Deep before Elias was able to sense dull light!

The light of the Sunrise!

Elias stood with his aggravated injuries due to excessive movement in his killing frenzy. But the Great Healing Trait did its good job stopping his bleeding and making him recover!

It was good… the warm Sunlight that kissed Elias's wet skin made him feel fresh and awake. As if he had been in a trance—which he was!

His right hand was broken due to the impact of Drillars on the shield he held! 

His right ribs were broken due to many impacts by Drillars!

His thigh flesh was mangled and his femur shattered due to the Alpha Flamingo's head falling on him!

Every part of his body was riddled with a wound deep and shallow, some still dripping blood!

Now that his mind has calmed, he can see the notifications. And then… the pain hit him strongly now that he wasn't under the control of the babies!

But that didn't occupy Elias's mind the most, it was;

The Luck value!

He had used it so many times to count and to tell the truth—he had suppressed the wariness that stemmed from using it—unconsciously.

But today he rejected the Null, by confirming there was no safety in using it. 

Elias dropped with a groan, his broken ulna and femur creaking, and then he began to cry—a cry of helplessness and anguish. 

He felt lost due to his lack of strength and power—but more so against the unknown—he summoned himself!

He had heard it called to him numerous times but he ignored it by force—but there was a tug of war that he was constantly losing!

His mind and consciousness pulled him helplessly toward the Voice, wanting him to concede and respond… he, himself, wanted to respond to end the suffering!

It was an urge which External Stimuli Influence the Internal Stimuli... in the end, he dreaded the Internal more as he had no idea when he would give in to it!

The idea of giving in… made him faint for a second before he regained his consciousness—at that time Elias longed to face the Flamingo rather than the Children of The Deep.

He lies facing the sky and wished for death… but can't bring himself to… he cried until no tears came out of his eyes. 

The flame, Will to live, unceasingly fueling him to fight back till the end!

Later hunger crept on him when it was noon. Vaguely seeing the light of day calmed his mind. But….what will he do for the coming night?

He had no idea!

It was when the Sun was at its Zenith that his Omni-view of the Island returned in all its glory. And he observed the damage with recovered clear sanity due to the Sun rays washing away the Aura of Despair

His improved Mental Capacity began working!

He dragged his ass and ate food and then he treated his left hand, rib and thigh.

The terror that may follow after the darkness made him suppress all the pain and pushed his body to prepare!

With the Wand, he parted Sand, 3m deep and dragged out Giant Metal Boxes and also pulled other things out. 

Grabbing a used Casting Wood, Elias was surprised, it was harder than steel. Then his mind went into more understanding.

The Children of The Deep came with cold water and the Casting Wood that was soft after being kissed by fire has now become harder than it originally was!

An idea clicked and he smiled!

With conviction, he began to prepare for the next fight. His healing trait was Great as it kept making his body demand nutrients that equate a quick hunger for Elias and also fast healing.

"Why Increase of Sight, Body Stability when the fishes were killed... I can understand Water Affinity!"

[Clear Sight: Sea Life forms spend their life increasing their senses. Senses were suppressed deep in the Sea. Those with high senses evade the Predator easily or be the best Predators]

[Body Stability: Sea Life forms have to fight against underwater current whenever a large creature moves and when disturbance comes from elsewhere. By that, they fight for Stability]

[Body Stability: Sea Life forms feed on almost everything to survive, which most often may result in drastic and unknown mutation. Body stability to cope with the new changes as needed]

[Water Affinity: They live in the Sea]

"What about Birds? Why Stamina and Mental capacity?"

[There are three stages of Birds in this okenus. In the First Stage, Survival—they feed to survive. In the Second Stage, Strength and Stamina—they feed to improve their strength to hunt more. In the Third Stage, Intelligence—they hunt to increase their Mental Capacity]

[Birds don't have a designated home. Most were in constant movement. And they meet with a lot of danger. For that they evolve to learn and evade that danger]

While Elias was preparing for whatever was coming in the night, he was also asking all kinds of questions.

"Children of The Deep…! What are they?"

[Second Trial Okenus human-like infant Life forms. Bigger ones have intelligence…]

[No Enough Information About Them]

Elias frowned. Sometimes the Wand is like an encyclopedia but when it was needed the most, it was ignorant like a well fish.

But he had been with it to learn its aspects. 

Whenever he was dealing with high intelligence things, it lacked enough Data about them. Even if Elias interacted with them… for example the Ram.

All it knew was that the Ram is Royalty.

But also it lacked data on anything Elias come in close contact with for the first time. Like the woods he used for forging, that were attributed to his Island. 

It's as if the two are not connected at all. Some Island information can't be viewed by the Wand. In fact, it was easier to learn about outside things than things about the Island.

With time he realized that the Island and the Wand are two separate things. Each one is independent of the other but also compliments the other.

As for Wands. It's not some cheap computer system that was designed to have all the information Elias needs. Like logging into Google to just search for an answer but an accumulation of Elias' experience that was adjusted from the Fog!
