Or....is this Hell I was sent to for all the horrible things I was tasked to do?" ***** [Note: No Island is useless, only useless dweller that can't figure out it's usefulness!]
Alpha Flamingo!
*****
Elias stopped and grabbed a small crossbow and started shooting in hope of reducing the Bird number.
Did the arrows reach them, he didn't know but just a moment later...
Pop!
Pop!
Pop!
Countless Birds in suicide frenzy slammed on the Force-field Dome again. Either their head explodes, or they break their necks. After three seconds, everything stopped.
Woosh!
Elias trembled, just now, he felt something passed through the Fog very fast. He couldn't even make an image of it due to how fast it was.
He quickly retracted the Fog, with Wand he pointed at 10 Spears with sharp spikes and made them pass and floated above the Dome in a spread manner, covering every direction.
As long as that thing is bigger than him, it can't pass in-between them without a scratch.
As if tempting Elias, the large Bird went back and forth at fast speed. Then it came silently above Elias' spears and stared at them, then at Elias who was inside the Dome.
It flapped away silently!
The Bird was careful of Elias due to its experience with other Creative Bipedal Beasts. And, it was intelligent and capable of manipulating other Birds. Just now, it tested if the spears were fast enough to follow it. They couldn't… and it understood, the Bipedal Creature's eyes were silent!
Boom!
Elias heard the sound barrier-breaking. "Damn"
About 50 kilometres away, the Bird reached a Bird's nest on an Island. With its presence, it compelled certain types of Birds to follow it. They were slightly smaller than Elias.
And the moment they reached Elias Island, they went into a trance and dove fast toward the Island.
Elias heard the sound of flapping but before he did anything, one went around the spiky spears and slammed on the Force-field Dome.
The Dome trembled and then another one slammed, each dying as their head exploded.
Elias pulled back the spears, they were useless, without eyes he can't defend or attack using them.
He was about to take something out...Boom!
The barrier collapsed and the remaining Bird attacked with fury.
Twenty arrows shot out from the Sand, raining up at the Birds, then 10 spears shot faster than that, impaling all the Birds that were within the vicinity.
As for Elias, his security Bunker was activated and the floor he was standing on shifted and fell to the underground bunker.
The impaled and pierced Birds plummet and drench the Island with blood.
Before the second batch of Birds came, the Dome was raised again and this time, Elias had prepared a Dust Cloud. He seeped it outside the Dome and spread it to another Dome. And it rotated and vibrated fast.
Any Bird that met with it suffered gashes and its eyes began to bleed.
Due to pain some of the Birds broke out of their trance and tried to escape but their eyes were damaged.
The Dust Cloud were tiny metal scraps from one of the failed experiments. It has a magnetic field that made them attract and push one another and they respond with vibration to the slightest motion of the wind or any tremors.
The Alpha Bird noticed the Birds it sent died but it patiently observed Elias struggle before it flew off.
Later it came back with an unassuming Bird. A plump with a large Crop, a long wide beak and tiny eyes. One will wonder how it walks with its very small legs. The Bird resembles the Shoebills.
From time to time it would break out of trance and try to fly away but then came back.
Apart from that, countless other Birds of different species were following.
If Elias was able to see them he would have been terrified.
Far Above these Birds Of Prey was another Bird, twice the size of the alpha. It had been flying around, without joining the fight. It was this Bird that visited Elias one night and he had to sink into a Sand and hide.
The Magnificent Crane!
As the wave of Birds was about to attack Elias, a streak of light came from the East.
*Creee*
The Alpha cried out and all the Birds flew away and disappeared. The raid was aborted.
Since Elias was on the Sea level he didn't know that Sun was coming up until thirty minutes later when it ray kissed his face. But he has a frown, that last cry sounds like…
Flamingo Bird!
"Hoo. That was hard!" Elias mumbled with a frown before he fell on the sand and began to sleep.
Above the Island was a Giant Dove staring at him before its body phased through the Dome and scooped White Sand that appeared before it flew away.
Elias was oblivious to that because, by experience, Birds don't come in the light of the day. Even if they did come they are harmless.
Birds had smashed at his Dome before. He assumed that they didn't see the Dome, but an outright attack, this was the First.
An hour later, he was up. With Omni-view he went around setting more traps and preparing for a night assault. And this time, he prepared well.
[What is the content of the Fourth trial?"
[No enough information]
What happened today made Elias realize that he may have taken this Trial lightly. Maybe the time given was for him to prepare.
And prepare he must!
Using the 4 Crucibles Elias made Metal and Clay mix boulders. And raised more barricades and more spikes everywhere.
When the sun was high Elias's body began trembling, not out of hunger or fatigue but fear. An ominous feeling was creeping on him the more the hour passed, the more he felt it.
When the Sun passed noon, the goosebumps increased and affected Elias' work.
'What… happening!' He wondered, but he forced himself to finish what he could before hiding underground, shivering!
"Wa..nd what... Is happ..: Elias stutter.
[Dread Bird]
[A Giant Flamingo Species that probes its Prey multiple times. It has a Passive Effect of causing Tension to its Prey as it hunts it the Second time. The more Fear one felt the more the disparity of strength between them. Zero fear means the Prey is Stronger]
Boom!
Elias woke up with fright. He had passed out without knowing and this showed how weak he was compared to the Alpha Flamingo.
Far in the sky was an unknown number of Birds, each with a sharp beak and blue feather. Their eyes focused on the Island before they dove down.
With a single beeline, like a javelin, the Birds flew and they smashed at the Dome continuously. Amidst them was a Bird, Elias Size, made of metallic blue feathers that dive down and collide with the Island.
Boom!
The Island swayed and water waved but the Force-field Dome was still active.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The metallic blue Bird attacked while the smaller Birds paused for the Dome to be down. And yet it held.
Elias in the underground Bunker has his eyes closed and concentrated on maintaining the Force field no matter water!
