Transfer

"Careful, Kareena. Don't drag your feet. It's easy to fall if you walk like that. Lift your leg up."

As Kareena and I were focused on getting her to walk on two legs, we heard a loud rumbling, which seemed to come from Kareena's stomach.

Seeing her cute triumphant smile turn into an embarrassed one with her cheeks turning bright red, I rubbed her head gently.

"It looks like you're hungry now, Kareena. We've been doing this for a few hours, and it's almost sundown. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Come here, you should take a drink first." Bringing her to the river, I showed her how to cup a handful of water and drink it.

"Kuhuk, nnn."

After choking a little, she quickly learned how to drink.

[Well, I doubt it was any different from drinking as a sheep. I should go back to the place where I got those apples since both Kareena and I are hungry. I don't think Kareena would want to sleep in the cave tonight. She's comfortable with me now, but I don't think she wants to part from her herd after just a few hours of being human. I guess I'll be accompanying her and sleeping in a herd of sheep tonight.]

Seeing the sky turning orange, I picked up my shortspear and gestured for Kareena to stay put, which took a while for her to understand. Once she stayed put, I quickly went back to the place where I found the apples and returned, feeling the constant stream of dejection from Kareena ever since I left.

As soon as I got back, I could feel the joy emanating from Kareena and her short fluffy tail that was hidden underneath her pants cutely swinging back and forth. To calm her excitement, I gave her some apples.

[I need to find a way to transfer knowledge to her. The way humans and sheep live are completely different, and the sooner she learns that, the better.]

Teaching Kareena how to eat while thinking of ways to transfer knowledge to her, the sun dipped and the moon rose, with the sheep forming a loose circle around their young, elderly, and us.

Seeing that Kareena was about to sleep face down like the other sheep, I stopped her.

"Kareena, that's not a nice position to sleep in." Holding her shoulders to stop her from planting her face on the soil, I flipped her over, laid down with the fur cloth under me, and leaned her head on my right arm.

"This is how humans sleep, Kareena. And this is how we'll sleep from now on." Seeing her cutely staring at me while leaning on my arm, I realized how important it is for her to understand what I'm saying.

"Sleep, Kareena. I know I'm handsome. You don't need to keep staring at me," I said softly, covering her eyes with my left hand. She tried to pry them open but was unable to.

[This is embarrassing... I'm sleeping practically half-naked on the ground with her practically leaning on my bare upper body. Thankfully, Kareena's long, fluffy hair is keeping me warm and covering me. But damn, two days after getting transported, and now there's a beautiful girl sleeping in my arm. I guess this is the best part of getting transported to another world.]

Thinking of everything that had happened in the last two days, I waited for Kareena to fall asleep before attempting to transfer my knowledge to her.

[The most important thing when using soul energy is will. I doubt Kareena's soul would have been bound to me and turned her into a human just because I ejected all my energy into her. It must've worked because my intentions were clear. I wanted to tame something and have someone to accompany me in the forest. So, if I want to transfer my knowledge, I need to be clear that I want to transfer information to her. I think the theory that has the highest possibility of working is transferring the energy through my brain and into hers since all information is stored in the brain. I need to be clear that I want to transfer knowledge, not memory. I think this has a 70% chance of working based on what I've seen so far. The longer I ponder this, the more variables I'll start to consider. Sometimes, I just need a leap of faith. So I should stop thinking. The pain would be hell, though. I might just fail because of how painful it'll be.]

Seeing that Kareena was now sleeping comfortably, I prepared myself for the excruciating pain as I moved the energy to my head.

Leaning my head against Kareena's perfect face, I looked internally and saw that my soul energy was now full, though the capacity wasn't big anyway. Moving all the energy I could, I instantly felt pain intense enough to make me want to bash my brains out as the energy moved through my neck and toward my head.

Trying to end this as fast as possible, I moved the energy through my brain. As soon as the energy touched my brain, I felt that I could remember almost everything I'd ever learned and done in my 17 years of life. With that lessening the pain and reminding me of my objective, I thought of transferring as much knowledge as I could.

Moving the energy to my forehead, which was touching hers, as soon as all the energy went through, dizziness kicked in, and my vision went dark as I saw Kareena scrunching her eyebrows.

Lying on the fur cloth, feeling that the dizziness from before I went to sleep was gone, I opened my eyes and saw Kareena's beautiful light blue eyes staring intently at my face from the right corner of my view.

Seeing her face with the background of the sky slowly getting brighter, I thought she was absolutely beautiful with her cute little nose and pinkish-red lips.

"G-good morning, master."

Seeing I had woken up, she blushed and looked away. Her soul core signalled her embarrassment.

Looking at her reddened cheeks, I felt the urge to poke them. Which I did, and she reacted by covering her face with her hands.

"Good morning, Kareena. You can talk now? How are you feeling? Why are you blushing?"

"Nn, I-I can. I practiced while you were asleep. I have a lot of questions, master. But first, c-can you please wear some clothes?"
