I closed the door behind me, dressed in my casual wear and a blue scarf around my neck before I began to walk away.

I'm sure Amber thinks I left because I got tired of the nonsense she was sprouting out, I mean, I did get tired… but that's not why I left.

I simply left so I could pay a visit to my parents, I did promise to check up on them every once in a while.

And since my big sis might be leaving next week to her online job interview, I might as well use this chance to pay them the visit.

That said… I stop walking… slowly turning around to face the two idiots following behind me.

"What are you doing?" I asked, a narrowed gaze on my face as I stared at both Rose and Tess standing a few distance away from me.

"Hmph! Krista hates stalkers!!!" Yelled my little escort.

"Is there a problem master?" Rose asked, a calm expression on her face like usual.

The audacity of this woman.

"Yes Rose, yes there's a problem, why are you following me?"

She tilted her head to the side, "I am your sword… where else would I be if not by your side?" She asked me back.

I couldn't help but smile nervously at her words, she isn't exactly wrong, I did use to carry my sword every where I went…but that was before I found out its an actual woman.

Sigh!

"And you? What's your reason?" I shifted my attention to Tess, dealing with Rose is more stressful then it's worth.

"Oh me? Hmmmm… I'm your sheild?".

"Why are you asking me?!!!" I shouted.

"Hahahaha! Ouch! You are totally yelling at me.." Tess laughed .

Honestly, dealing with these girls will do nothing but damage my brain cells.

So, I ignored them and let them do whatever it is they wanted.

When we got to the main city, I made sure to pass the secrets route I know of, perks of being a delivery boy.

You might be wondering why I'm passing close paths and so on, well you see… I dont exactly have the best reputation.

Something to do with the fact someone weirdo from a gang has been trying to get me, ever since I was a little kid.

Despite how many times I tried informing my parents and cops, they all seem to think I'm lying and something like that.

So I learned to counter it and have slowly grown into hiding myself before I get kidnapped out of nowhere.

All in all, it has never failed me.

"There we go." I voiced out with a smile on my face, standing a few distance from my parents house.

From the window, I could see the light passing through the curtains which could only mean they are around.

My big sis is probably going to be surprised if she sees these two with me, yeah, she can be quite over protective when I'm around girls.

"Tess, Rose, you two wait out here for me… when I'm done I'll meet up with you".

"Are you sure? I could always just…"

"Please?" I smiled at Rose.

And she sighed, looking to the side with her cheeks beet right, "As you wish".

Hehe, works everytime.

I switched my gaze to Tess.

"Nah I'm cool, I'll wait here." Tess voiced.

"Good… Let's get this overwith."

Just when I was about to move, my little flying spirit friend Krista spoke,

"Krista doesn't feel comfortable… Krista feels you should use your time skill just in case".

'Time skill?'

"Yes, Redo… all krista needs you to do is say the word Redo and it activates".

"Redo?"

"Krista wants you to add magic… not just plain words."

"Redo." I said, but this time with a bit of magic, seeing as Amber had thought me a few things about magic, it was relatively easy.

Although I couldn't understand what she was saying, but it's Krista, she has always been assisting me in the place, she's like my personal assistant.

Once we had gotten that out of the way, I began to make my way towards the door.

As soon as my grip touched the door knob, I felt it, a very suffocating feeling that poisoned my chest.

Was it fear?

No, it felt like death was staring at me, but not just that, like it was just at the other side of this door.

I didn't think about it, my body moved on impulse.

Pulling the door right off its hinges, I charged into the house,

"Mom! Sis!" I called out.

"Welcome…home… King of vampires".

My eyes widened in shock from the sight in front of me.

My mother had been capacitated on the ground and my sister was barely alive, her lower part almost torn apart.

And the man responsible for this, was one with his face clouded in darkness, dressed in a black cloak and a black hat.

The whole living room was filled with the creatures with sharp looking teeths and weird forms despite them being humans.

But that wasn't the least of my problems… my family… had been murdered by them.

My heart raced.

And the next thing I knew, I was screaming, tears trailing down my eyes before launching myself forward.

Flames hugged my fist, the rage pushed my forward but even that wasn't enough.

The moment I got close, my head was slashed open and my body falling to the ground.

The evil grin on the man's face and the terrifying look on my family's face were hitched in my memories.

I couldn't protect them… I'm sorry, that was all I could think about at the moment, how I failed them, even now.

And then, I died.

At least I thought I did.

Opening my eyes, I found myself standing in front of my parents house.

My eyes were filled with so much anger and rage but at the same time, I was very confused.

What was happening? Didn't I just die?!

I kept thinking to myself.

Grabbing my head I immediately looked at Krista who stared back at me and spoke,

"The power of the king… has been activated".
