THE MYSTERIOUS MAN

I sat still using my hands to cover my erection and trying hard not to think of what was happening but as usual, Isabel read my mind again and smiled. "someone's having naughty thoughts"she said as she pushed her boobs on my back even harder.

This girl was just plain crazy, what kind of a temptress did I string along. I tried my best to hold myself back. "how about telling me more about your home and your past" I asked as I pull myself away from her.

As I asked her expression suddenly changed. "I rather not talk about my past, how about we get some rest" she said as she changed her appearance to match that of a regular human girl. Her skin complexion changed and her tail and horns disappeared. Although she changed her appearance, she still looked very pretty, she could easily rival any the top model.

It was already 7:39PM and it was getting dark, I had a long day ahead of me and needed to rest.

I laid on the floor and with my face up as I kept thinking about my survival in this current world.

I turned to Isabella who was also laying beside me facing the opposite direction. "are you alright Isabel" I asked. She just nodded without saying anything. Yh she was probably disturbed by the topic I brought up earlier.

"I'm really sorry for reminding you about your past, I didn't know you had…." I was about to complete my sentence when Isabella interrupted.

"I come from a proud race of demons. My clan, the Asura clan are one of the strongest clans in the demon realm and no one dared go against us. Well that was until we were betrayed by my father's aide."

I listened to her as she told me how her clan was brought down by a single demon and got wiped out completely, well all except Isabella.

I could understand why she was not happy when I asked her past. We had so much in common as we both lost everything and everyone we loved.

"let's forget about the past and focus on the future. Besides you have me now, so cheer up" I said to her as I smiled widely.

Isabella laughed out loudly with tears coming out of her eyes. "you're really bad at cheering people up, but thanks anyway"

She said as she hugged me.

"hey…hey….hey!!!you're too close". I complained with a tomato red face.

"it's only normal for a husband and his wife to be this close or is it not?"she said smiling.

I mean she was wasn't wrong but having a beauty lie so close to me was so tempting. I could feel her breath on my neck.

"how about we do something that's meant for couples huh?" she whispered in my ears

This got me fired up and as hard as a rock. Was I finally going to leave the realm of the little boys? Was I going to be a man after this night? ...no I wasn't.

As I was about to kiss Isabella, the door of the warehouse burst open and a giant swarm of bees came flying in. They were the size of a full grown rat.

I turned around to see what was going on and saw the bees headed towards where Isabella and I laid. I quickly stood up pulling Isabella with me.

"how the hell did they find us here?" I asked as I jumped over some crates and hide behind a pillar which was supporting the warehouse structure.

"why are we running? I can easily wipe out those disgusting insects, a simple fire spell should do the trick" Isabella said as she got ready to cast a spell but I stopped her.

"I think it would be better if we reserved our mana, if we attack those insects now it may attract other monsters that are nearby" I explained to her.

"oh I didn't actually think of that" Isabella said while thinking of how to take out the monsters without making too much noise.

"You don't need to worry about those bees, I have an idea on how to take care of them without drawing any unwanted attention. Is there anyway I could hide my presence from those insects?"

Isabel thought for a while before speaking "well you can envelope yourself with mana and trying matching the man around your body to the mana in your surrounding, that's would do the trick I guess"

I stood up and concealed myself with mana, it was more of a camouflage. I brought out a dagger I got from the shop earlier that day and cover the blade with mana making the blade even sharper.

I dashed toward the bees with the dagger. I jumped towards two which were closer to Isabella and cut off their heads with one clean sweep.

I turned around instantly and cut off the wing of another bee. After about ten minutes I had already killed all fifty bees.

I stood there looking at the body of the insects and as I lifted my head, I noticed someone standing in a distance. I don't know if it was just my imagination but the person just stood there looking at me but as soon as I blinked I didn't see the person.

"are you alright!!" I heard Isabella call out to me as she ran towards me

"yh I'm fine just saw someone, he gave off a weird and chilly aura but as soon as I blinked he was gone." I said to Isabella who was now holding my arm.

"really? I couldn't sense anyone"she replied as she looked at me with and uncertain expression.

"I don't know, maybe I was just tired" I said as I looked out of the window.

I was wondering who the person I saw outside the gate was, was he perhaps the one behind the insect attack? I kept thinking but laid back down to rest.
