Grandparents

Cedrick immediately pulled me out of the grand hall. Medel and Diego gazed at us, as did Kersten and David when we left. They are confused as, why we left the hall.

When we got to the car I got inside and Cedrick followed. He immediately pulled the car over. I felt even more nervous when that text message came back to my memory.

"Sweetie, I'm scared ..." I suddenly whispered, causing him to turn to me.

"Don't be afraid, sweetie. I'm here. I will not leave you. Don't be nervous, I'm here."

The nervousness I felt suddenly vanished because of what he said. But I can't help but wonder who is the person behind those text messages.

Why is he threatening Cedrick and me? What are our sins? What are his reasons?

"Who do you think sent me those text messages, sweetie?"

"I don't know, sweetie. But, don't worry. I'll find a friend of mine. He will investigate who sent you text messages. And, when I find him, he will pay for his threats. " he said, aggressively, at the same time he held my hand resting on my thigh. He held it tightly.

It looks like he has no intention of letting go of my hand.

When we got home, I immediately sat on the sofa and looked very tired. I felt Cedrick sitting next to me as well, so I opened my eyes wide and looked at him.

"It's gonna be okay, baby." He said while hugging me. I closed my eyes and hugged him back.

"Thank you, sweetie. All I can think about is the twins. Maybe, they will be the focus of the person you sent me the text message to." I said while hugging him.

I felt his hug tighten on me. "I will not let him do that, especially to you and to our twin."

I hugged him even tighter. I wondered in those moments, who exactly was sending me those messages.

Is someone angry at me? Is anyone mad at me? For Cedrick? For my family? Does Cedrick have an opponent in the company? Why would that person be so angry with us?

"Let's sleep now, sweetie. Don't even think about it. I'll take care of it, the person who sent that message." He said at the same time we both lost our hug.

I just nodded. I sighed when he suddenly carried me to our room. I just clung to his sturdy neck. At the same time, I closed my eyes again.

I felt Cedrick lay me down on our bed. He took my two sandals and put them in the dressing room.

The last thing I remember before I went to sleep was that he came out of the room to get dressed.

My eyes widened when I felt someone kiss my forehead. When I woke up, I saw his face.

His eyes were dark, his nose was sharp and his lips were red. If I hadn't known him, I would have mistaken the angel in front of me.

"Good morning, sweetie. How was your sleep?" He smiled at me with a smile.

"Good morning too, sweetie. I slept well. How about you?" I hugged his neck at the same time. I saw the side of his lips lifted.

"It was good too, sweetie. You are the flesh of my dreams." I suddenly slapped his bare chest.

I was swallowed by what I saw and touched. Why did the dish come to me this morning?

Six-pack abs.

I was shaken by that thought. Until now, am I still fantasising about Cedrick?

"You want breakfast, sweetie?" I suddenly looked at his face when I realised I was looking at his abs.

The width of his smile and he danced his eyebrow. Suddenly my cheek warmed up in embarrassment. What just went through my mind and I just looked at his abs?

His abs are a temptation.

"Huh?" None of my questions to him.

"I said, you want breakfast?" He laughed and asked me again.

I suddenly covered the blanket wrapped around my body. To interrupt the redness of my face out of embarrassment.

Cedrick suddenly grabbed the blanket that covered my head, so I suddenly sighed.

"My gash!"

I want to beat myself up for coming out of my mouth.

"So? You want bread for your breakfast, sweetie?" He pretended to ask a serious question while looking at me, but he made me laugh.

I swallowed before answering his question. "Ahm, what. . . n-no...I'm still hungry."

His eyebrows rose and he stared at me intently. The reason why I looked down.

I was shocked when he grabbed my nape and suddenly kissed me.

I could feel my heart beating faster and the butterflies flying in my stomach. Even my heart was pounding because of the strength of its beating.

I felt millions of voltages of electricity flow through my whole body.

"I miss you, sweetie. I miss you badly." He whispered as our lips parted. We both gasped after that hot scene.

"I miss you too, sweetie," I whispered back to him. I felt his hand slide against the curve of my body which brought me a tickle.

He pulled me closer to him, and suddenly kissed me again.

"Ena, you are in a good mood today, huh. Also, Cedrick having a wide smile on his lips," Mama asked me a question.

We are now at Hacienda Marquez, where we are picking up the twins. But, we lingered because we still greeted mama and papa.

Only now have we been able to visit, since we left the twins with them.

"No, Cedrick and I are just happy. Of course, by the way. The 50th anniversary of the V-club is near. I hope you can go."

"Well, of course, your dad and I will not miss that. You can expect us to go to that event." Mama smiled in response to me.

I looked at the door when someone came in. It's Dad.

I got up to go to where Cedrick was.

"They're already there. Be careful when you go home. Cedrick also said goodbye to me. He didn't come up here, because Rick wants to go home. Maybe he's eager to go home." I nodded at what my father said.

I kissed their cheeks and hugged them, saying goodbye. "All right mom, dad. Please say hello to Mesy ha. When she can come home here."

"Alright daughter. Be careful coming home." Mom said while waving at me.

"Our grandson, take care." Dad chased.

"Yes, yet! All right, ho and I will continue." I waved to them and left the room.
