70. The gift

It was exactly a week since Abraham visited his brother. During the week, he has mostly spent his time training Quinn. In his free time, Abraham would just train the control of the different energies inside him. After the evolution, he had to get used to his new body.

When Abraham informed the family that he was going on some mission, all three of them, Albus, Ginny, and Quinn were against it. they did not want to separate again from Abraham.

To comfort them, Abraham promised to visit occasionally when he was free.

Right now Abraham has just teleported and he was on a different planet, one that was controlled by the military.

He did not have time to observe the surrounding as, as soon as he was on the platform there was a man coming to greet him. Both of them had a great smile on their face.

"I'm extremely happy that you have accepted my invitation and we are meeting after two years, Mr. Abraham." The man bows down as a sign of greeting.

"The pleasure is all mine, and there is no need for formality between us Andrew. I'm eager to see what type of gift you have for me." Abraham replied by giving a slight bow.

Andrew was the forger to whom Abraham taught Qi energy at the Green's place. Andrew was also known as the best forger as he is the one that has been able to transform a demon beast crystal into the only demon beast weapon that is available to humans. As a sign of recognition for teaching him Qi, Andrew has prepared a gift for Abraham.

Andrew was overwhelmed with happiness when Abraham call him and informed him that he was coming to meet him. That's why he was already waiting for Abraham at the teleportation portal.

This time, Abraham had gone through the normal portal instead of using his shadow.

After greeting each other, Andrew immediately walked away and guided Abraham to his forge room.

As Abraham entered the forge room, a gust of warm air, heavy with the tang of heated metal, enveloped his senses. Shadows danced and flickered across the stone walls, cast by the flickering glow of the blazing furnace at the heart of the room. There were around five forgers in deep concentration each manipulating a beast crystal. Then they finally reached the back of the room where a single metal door was located.

As they crossed the door and it closed behind them, the temperature dropped noticeably and Abraham found himself in front of a shelf.

A shelf full of beast weapons and armor. As Abraham's Inspect skill got to level 5, he was able to scan all the objects at once. There were two king-tier weapons and the rest were of lower tier. But from Andrew's position, Abraham understood that none of them was meant for him. Instead, he opened a drawer and removed something from it.

"Here is your gift" Andrew handed Abraham a small wooden box.

Just seeing the size, Abraham eliminated all the big weapons and armor. From the size, it could not even be a face mask. Sliding the top, Abraham was met with an exquisite object.

The Silent Sting was a small black and red dagger with a sleek, deadly design.

"Thank you, Andrew, this is a great gift. It means a lot." Abraham spoke while still playing with the dagger.

Andrew then informed Abraham that there was a VR pod in the next room where he can test the weapon if he want.

"Ok yes. But before that, I have come here with a request. It will be something that will greatly affect you that is why I will give you a proper explanation.

"I'm going to tell you the truth about me," Abraham said. "And then I will ask you what you want to do."

The idea was, Abraham would explain what he was, how he was a vampire, and what a few of the others were with him as well. How he was responsible for turning them. That's right, Abraham wanted to turn Andrew into a blooded.

Abraham was comfortable with telling him all of this because if Andrew refused, then he could just remove this specific memory that recently happened from his head. Not affecting him much mentally, and he wouldn't slip up telling them their secret by accident. Avoiding any trouble from a certain someone.

"From our little encounter, I am sure you should have noticed how different I am. Qi energy is not the only thing that I can manipulate. I also have the ability to use blood energy." In saying so, Abraham formed a similar dagger-like Silent Sting entirely from blood.

Abraham noticed the immediate shocked expression on Andrew's face. Andrew knew that on Abraham's traveler's card, it was mentioned that he had a level 8 superhuman ability. So how could he have two abilities at the same time?

The next words from Abraham confirmed his thought.

"You can consider my ability a little different. On top of being able to control blood, my body is also better than most humans. If you have read some fairy tales from the past, you would know there was a certain type of creature that was known as a vampire, I'm something like that." Instead of just saying that he was a vampire directly, Abraham decided to make it an ability. A way for Andrew to accept it easily.

"To make it easier, we decided to label ourselves vampires. Being a leader, I have the ability to turn someone and made them a vampire like me. I am very selective in my turning, and the reason I am telling you this is because there is a subcategory among us, that is very fit to become a forger. Your strength, stamina, and concentration will increase by bounds."
