54. The long awaited reunion

Abraham strode purposefully through the crowded streets of the residential area, his boots thudding against the cobbled ground. He was lost in thought, mulling over how he will start the conversation. His keen eyes scanned the faces of the passersby as if he was scanning them.

Abraham was switching between his normal sight and the dragon's vision. He made sure to avoid looking at his own hand.

As he rounded a corner, his thoughts were abruptly interrupted by a collision. Through the dragon's eyes, Abraham was able to see a yellow aura behind the wall. But strangely, the person looked to have intentionally collided with Abraham. The man had seen Abraham arriving through the portal. He wanted to test Abraham's strength by sending Abraham sprawling to the ground. Alas, due to the colossal strength that Abraham possessed, it was the man himself that was kissing the muddy ground.

The man quickly got up and scrambled to his feet, brushing the dirt off his coat.

Understanding the whole situation, Abraham just walk past the man and continue his way.

As expected, the man he collided with was now shouting and cursing at him, accusing him of purposely trying to knock him down.

Abraham raised an eyebrow in irritation but said nothing in response. Abraham took another quick turn ignoring the angry shouts and curses as they faded into the distance.

"That is not your normal behavior to let someone like this get away. Seeing the situation I was thinking you were going to teach him a lesson." The system could not help but question Abraham's unusual behavior.

"I'm in such a great mood today. I don't want to ruin it. Maybe he will act like those stupid scoundrels and try to take revenge when he sees me another time. Then we will see."

Abraham continued to walk until he arrived at the center of the Section B area. There were buildings all around and in the middle, there was a little playground for children.

The cheerful noise of the children playing and seeing them running around playing catch brought back so many memories. On the side, there were parents sitting on benches talking while occasionally checking on their children to supervise them.

Just as Abraham was going to turn around to enter a building, he caught a glance of someone. The person he came looking for.

His heart started to pound heavily and he approached a bench. On it, two men were casually sitting.

Abraham reached the bench and stood just in front of one of the men. He kept a little distance between them and he extended his hand toward the man.

"Hello, Albus."

Albus has finally taken the day off. He decided to spend it with his family when right now he was watching his wife taking care of their child on the playground. Suddenly he saw a strange man approach until the latter finally stop just in front of him. Due to the man's full clothing, Albus was not able to know who the man was.

But against all belief, the man has given him a handshake while calling him.

"Hello."

Albus got up from the bench and responded to the handshake. The man's skin was extremely smooth but the handshake was very firm. Albus was tall compared to others but the man in front of him was even taller.

"How are you, Albus?" said the man.

"I'm fine. Sorry for my short memory but I don't seem to recognize you. How do you know me?" Ablus was finding the situation bizarre. He had a very good memory but he doesn't remember even meeting such a person before.

"Is everything alright darling?"

Just then Albus heard another voice. This time, it came from someone familiar. During their conversation, his friend who was sitting next to him on the bench also got up and went toward Albus's wife to tell her about the situation.

Albus saw his wife came standing next to him while holding the hand of their child. Just as he was about to respond to his wife, he heard the strange man talking.

"Oh, hello. You must be Ginny. Albus sure has a good choice. And wow, you have become such a big boy. Have you been a good boy Quinn?"

Blank. That was the only reaction and thought Albus was having after hearing the man. The person knew that Ginny was his wife and he even know about Quinn. From the way he was talking, it looks like he was seen Quinn after a long time and the tone he was using was a happy and joyful one.

With all these analyses, Albus could not find any person from his memory.

Abraham was finding the whole situation a funny one. His brother Albus was around 25 years old but due to Abraham's several evolutions, he was now taller than his elder brother even though he was technically 13 years old.

Just looking at Albus from such a close distance was bringing lots of emotions to Abraham.

On top of that, he was the one that inherited the facial traits of their father. Albus looked very much like a young version of Dracul.

As for Ginny, Abraham had only seen her when both Gunny and Albus were in military school. At that time, she was a young teenager. She has turned into a very sweet and beautiful woman. A great life partner for Abraham's brother.

As for their child, Abraham was paying full attention to him. After all, the boy is Quinn Talen, the main character in the original book.

Abraham calculated that Quinn was around 8 years old. He had curly black hair and was wearing big round glasses. He was sweating and looked tired from all the playing he had just done.

Quinn had given him a nod when Abraham had asked about his well-being. Ginny on the other hand was looking at Albus. She wanted to know who the person in front of them was.

"I'm sure you must be confused right now about how I know about you and your family. Then let's see if you can guess."

As soon as the strange man in front of them finished his sentence, Albus saw him moving his hands upward and he reveal his head by removing the hood.

There standing in front of him was the most beautiful man Albus has ever seen. What stand out the most was the red hair that the man had.

But still, after the revelation, Albus had not a single idea who that man was from his look.

As if the man could guess that Albus has not yet identified him, the man smiled a little before talking again.

"Why don't we move to a more private place to talk? I have a very long explanation and a great surprise for you all." The man signaled Albus to look around.

As Albus turned, he could see lots of parents in the playground staring at them.
