In Lucian's room, a slight ruffle sound could be heard coming from the bed and if one didn't know someone was laying on the bed, it would have been a creepy sound.

Although it was slightly last sunset outside, the entire room was dark and the thick curtains fell to the ground and the only source of light from the room was the seeming very high chandelier which only lit up the room dimly.

Seraphina sat up in bed, looking around her as she rubbed her eyes. She couldn't feel her right leg for some reason but she knew it was still there. The sight of the ghoul biting into her flashed across her mind again and a scared gasp escaped her lips, making her look around frantically.

She didn't know where she was but it seemed like it wasn't part of the house at all but the truth is, it was. Lucian just had his own was of making everywhere he had to connect with his inner self very dark and calm, suiting his personality.
