chapter eleven

The proposal....

Eric's pov..

I proposed to her to be my girlfriend and she accepted it with tears of joy... I know I had finally found the one I was looking for ... Tracy my ex... Was also a lovely girl but I had never felt this way the way I do with Emily .... We later went back to the camp to join our mates after the dinner...

Emily's pov.

We went to our various home's the next day after the purpose of the trip has come to an end ... Eric never stopped asking and looking for me to find out how I was doing and other stuff happening in my life each day... My love for him grew so stronger that I never wished for anything again. We now learn together, eat together, which brought suspicion to the minds of our mates... They knew our relationship was part of the game for us to date for one week but the due time has passed and they could smell something fishy...

Eric later announced if two weeks later after we had we come back from our trip and had started schooling again... It was his birthday the next day which will be Saturday... I saw envy eyes from most girls especially Tracy , who was said to be Eric so called ex girlfriend... I wasn't bothered though... He also took the chance to invite all of us to join him in the party he is hosting for the celebration of his birthday ...

During the party, he came up to the stage, which was created to invite upcoming artist to perform in his birthday party .. Can I have your attention guys, the whole place went silent because everyone was waiting to hear what the birthday boy had to say... Well, I'm glad and thankful to all my friends who came here today to celebrate with me this important day... Without wasting much time, I would like to call Emily to join me up here... Everyone started murmuring to each other after I was called up...

Emily please I want you to be my girlfriend ... He said as he went down on one knee to propose Infront of everyone... I felt very emotional... OMG!.. I didn't like the tension I was getting now...Yes!I will be your girlfriend I spout it out...

He immediately stood up to hug me..I don't know why but I felt tears of joy again...

Kiss her!,kiss her!, kiss her!... came out loudly from the crowd,I felt shy by their cheering... we then lean in for a kiss...Wow!! ... the crowd said loudly as they started clapping for us...I could see some people were happy for us but some were not especially Tracy,who couldn't stand the view and walked out of the room...

Finally,it was late,so the party had ended and we were all going back to our various houses but I couldn't see Eric around...I had wanted to give him a proper good bye before leaving because he had really made my night...where can he be?..I asked myself...
