TUESDAY. 7:50 PM
She bursts out laughter, "It's just that Jake has had no interest in girls, he always pushes them away. When I saw you two together at first, it was kinda suspicious but now it makes perfect sense." She lets out a loud giggle, like the topic of discussion excites her.
I squint my eyes at her, "Really are you high?"
Her expression goes flat as she thinks about my question, "Well, Benji's water tasted different."
My eyes bulge and I press forward, "Water!"
Oh no.
"Didn't you hear that senior boys are sneaking alcohol into camp?"
"Well, Benji isn't a senior."
I deadpan, "Oh, like you don't know what kind of boy Benji is." I say, "I think you should stop hanging around Benji."
Her facial expression changes all of a sudden and I don't know if she's playing around or if she's actually mad, "You sound like my dad."
