Battle (3) Major Rhinos King

It was a rare opportunity for Zhang Qin Feng to walk around his Azure Wind Base. Although he's the boss of this base, he hardly inspects them regularly. Most of the bothering matters are handled by Dan Mi, with Guo Fu working hard on the base improvement.

When he thinks about it, doesn't he just acts like the trash boss often seen on the blockbuster movies?

"I should reward Dan Mi and Guo Fu suitably when there's a chance to do so. I've been working them too hard for the base's improvement." Zhang Qin Feng made sure he put a note regarding this as he continued walking around.

"Sir," Hei Niu and Niu Ke made a salutation at where Zhang Qin Feng chatted with the workers. From this view, he looks like a wise ruler, walking along the slums to understand his people's suffering.

"Two of you are here. Come and accompany me as we walk around." Zhang Qin Feng clasped his knuckles together at his back and continued walking along the side street.

On his last visit, only the Upper, Middle, and Lower streets are in use. But today, their works doubled, and all five streets belonged to Shangqing Plot is filled with various kinds of machinery.

The two Majors walked with Zhang Qin Feng until they finished inspecting the Shanghai Plot, and ends the journey at Shangwen Plot.

Although they're still occupying only three parts of the 15th Zone, expansion works are being done by the workers and residents to take over three more sections.

In total, there are 18 smaller districts and 1 Business Zone in the 15th Zone, covering 2,000 acres worth of land.

Back to the Military HQ, Dan Bao and Guo Jing asked for Zhang Qin Feng's forgiveness to not attending him in person. Although it is a weekend to Zhang Qin Feng, there's no such concept of an off day here in the apocalypse.

As long they want to eat, they'll have to work. Zhang Qin Feng's kindness is taken as a form of reward instead. That's why in the mind of the people of Azure Wind Base, employed by Zhang Qin Feng's means they'll be fed with human foods instead of the processed ones.

All other forms of reward would be counted differently, in a performance system that allowed them to change their achievement point with foods. Assortments of options are available to choose from, such as Honey, Coffee, Sweets, and Rice.

"At ease. I'm coming out because there's nothing for me to do back there. So I thought I'll entertain myself by looking at the base you guy's worked effortlessly to improve and protect." Zhang Qin Feng holds both of them up from their half-kneeling posture.

"Are there any updates on the battlefield?" Zhang Qin Feng went to the couch instead of his working table. Since it's an unofficial visit today, he'll put aside the paperwork and listen.

"Xicheng Base remained quiet after their failed attack. Instead, a difficult person made his presence outside of our outpost." Dao Bao shared the latest intel from the battlefield with everyone in this room.

"Difficult? Why would you say so?" Zhang Qin Feng smiled. It seems that not all smaller gang leaders are weak on the western front. This made Zhang Qin Feng is even more interested.

"His name is Hei Niu. Leader of Obsidian Bull Gang. He's a leader of an 11,000 people base, with researchers skilled in making serums. From what I heard, Hei Niu is capable of turn his skin into obsidian, making him impenetrable by bullets or Titan's attack."

"During the Titanfall, the news said that Hei Niu fought against a class of Warriors without getting infected or wounded." Dan Bao's evaluation at Hei Niu's ability is remarkable. Put aside Dan Bao, even Zhang Qin Feng wants a helper with Hei Niu's profile.

"But the most troublesome thing is..." Dan Bao sighed. He knows that he has to tell Zhang Qin Feng about it without keeping it aside himself. But if he did, Zhang Qin Feng might have a negative opinion of the extent of his ability.

"Tell me," Zhang Qin Feng tossed the Mother-Key aside and cast his sight at Dan Bao.

"This Hei Niu is best in trickery. He'll annoy us from day to night with his despicable mouth. But we can't relax because sometimes his insult comes with a sneak attack or late-night assault."

"Worst of all, he'll kidnap the people he found and force his enemy to accept them. This way, some spies might infiltrate us, but at the same time, we can do nothing!" Dan Bao lowered his head, feeling hopeless in front of his boss.

"Ah, that's all? And I thought he has six arms and three heads. Just a shameless person, nothing to be worried about." Zhang Qin Feng chuckled. In a fight of competing who's more shameless between them, Zhang Qin Feng won't have an issue of winning!

"Put me to Wu Manya," Zhang Qin Feng ordered with an arm raised. It was the one with the Luna III on his wrist.

"Sir?" Wu Manya answered after it rang twice.

"Did that bull harass you?" Zhang Qin Feng's word is straightforward. If Hei Niu tries to make fun of his people, then he'll make fun of them in return.

"Yes, sir!" Wu Manya is more of a straightforward soldier. And by pitting him upon a battle against the shameless Hei Niu is going to be a disadvantage.

"Alright."

"I'll send some Great-Wasps there to deliver more foods to you. Right now, throw the Protein Bars we have out of our barricade. If any of you guys know how to create a dummy projectile, made it so you can launch the protein bar right on where they are."

"Then, once the protein bar is finished, continue doing so with our leftover. Hell, blast the empty slugs and bullet cases and rubbish over at where they are." Zhang Qin Feng's shameless battle tactic finally appeared.

When it comes to harassing an opponent, an expert in Mooncraft 2 trolling battle will lose to nobody! If he's able to make his opponent throw their headphone at him in a competition, then making Hei Niu crazy with little tricks like this is nothing much!

"I'm sure you guys have some reserve Ashanti in your Minos truck. Use them, and fires randomly in succession. Annoy them with the loud gunshots."

"Meanwhile, tell our people to rest well. We have underground levels inside the main building, right? Just go there if it's time to rest. Don't worry. Aim the other King-Rhino at the top of our own barricades, so if they attack, we'll give them our walls too!" Zhang Qin Feng's idea comes one after another.

An hour later, when Hei Niu is preparing to harass Zhang Qin Feng's soldier again, something caught his attention.

"Did they riot after I've provoking them too much? Or else, why the Protein Bars are all on the ground?" Hei Niu inspects his surrounding before signaling his people to pick the food.

"Bam!"

"Dang!"

A cannon and gunshot made Hei Niu's soldier scampered back to their rabbit hole. Luckily for them, they have nothing to release via their refuse channel due to eating Protein Bars. Or else, who knows how many pants they'll have to change?

Hei Niu's group remained hiding under the collapsed concrete ten minutes later. And as they thought it is safe to go forward, gunshots came and forced them back. A guy dared the sniper to shoot him, and Zhang Qin Feng's soldier did as he asked.

Too bad, the bullet changed into a resin bullet, so he's only heavily injured instead of dying straight away.

"What a stroke of rotten luck!" Zhang Qin Feng's sniper complained. If he's using a real bullet instead, he'll have another kill in his record. But now, he only managed to make him suffer.

"Go! Move forward, and provide us a cover fire!" Hei Niu ordered. He's been stuck under the rubbles for twenty minutes now. But as his soldiers move forward to provide assistance, a few cannon fires.

Food waste, refuse, and bullet casings drop on and nearby them. Hei Niu's troops are totally humiliated without a single casualty.

"Aargh! Qingfeng Troops!" Hei Niu is angered. And with some men still unscathed by the refuse, he takes the lead and charged with the Leishen Rifle pointed at the barricade.

"Targets entered the firing line." an Ashanti Gunman reported.

"Fire!" Wu Manya's order came right on time. Fourteen cannons fired at a line, creating a wall of flames burning in between Obsidian Bull Gang and the Azure Wind Gang.

Half of his soldiers died under the barrage. But not a drop of blood is seen from Hei Niu's body. Instead, he's wrapped with a layer of obsidian crystals, like he's an active mineral golem.

"Is that what made him famous?" Wu Manya stares at Hei Niu intensely. He's awed by Hei Niu's strength. If it was him on Hei Niu's position, a blast from the explosion is going to cost him few broken bones on his ribcage.

"It's the Rhinos Team Leader! It's the Rhinos Team Leader that blows our first army apart from one barrage!" the soldiers escaped. Even Hei Niu hesitantly steps backward.

"What a king amongst the Rhinos. It was a good name."

"The Major of Rhinos King, I'll come back and repay all these favors you gave me!" Hei Niu shouts. Fueled with anger, he made a great leap back to his troops and ordered a temporary retreat.

"What the heck? He calls me Major Rhinos King without any reason!" Wu Manya complained. Although he's addicted to shouting out loud during firing, he does not enjoy being named as a Rhino.

"Congratulations, Major Rhinos King," Yu Yang Kai jokes.

"Good work, Major Rhinos King," Sun Ben and Tian Yao also laughed at Wu Manya's new nickname.

"Pfft!" even Zhang Qin Feng cannot control himself but laughed after he heard about Wu Manya's new name.
