Chapter Four: The truth is revealed.

I held out my hand to Valerie and said," I am sorry Valerie about those guys. You can just sit in the car while we pack and bring everything to your place."

Valerie started to panic and said," Crystal it will not be safe for you to stay with me. Spazz do you think you and A'Kreath can look after Crystal?"

Spazz looked at Valerie and sighed. "That also means ya have to come with us val if ya don't think it won't be safe, we have ta talk to A'Kreath." He said before reaching down and picking val up not caring at this point if he would be struck, he had a fatherly demeanor to him as he picked her up, after picking her up he covered her with part of his coat and looked to me. "At this point lassie don't worry about ya stuff we can replace it." He said and started to walk out of the room.

I nodded at Spazz to agree with him. I can always replace my stuff, I was more worried about Valarie state of mind. As we were heading downstairs I heard A'Kreath saying," I would step away from her Eric. " followed by my father cursing and the sound of something akin to a whip-poor-will whistle and a growl that seemed to put Spazz on edge. "Lass get out of the house now no questions just go!"

I wanted to ask why but decided against it and I noticed that Spazz went to my father and said,"Eric you need to leave this house with your daughter and her friend Valerie. Yall aren't safe anymore."

My father wouldn't want to move and he said," What is that thing?!" My father exclaimed as I ran out of the house hearing Spazz yell at my father. "Get out now mate!" Spazz shoved Valerie into my father's arms and my father ran out of the house as a loud ruckus began to roar inside the house. I could not tell what was going on as I heard growls and howles and the breaking of parts of the house.

I wave at my father and yelled to get his attention and said,"Father over here put Valarie inside the car and we can go to a hotel now and we can call the police or something." I was panicking and I didn't know what happening or what was going on.

Valarie said,"I know a place but Crystal, that means you can't come back here." I was wondering what Valarie ment by that and said," What the hell are you talking about Valarie and why can't I come back?"

Father and Valerie looked up at each other and they said,"Things are never what you think they are." I looked at them like they were crazy and said," okay you both just looked at each other. I think you guys knows what's going on so spit it out now."

I turned the car on and put my seat belt on and I drove away from the house. After two hours Valerie takes a deep breath and she said,"Sadly I had no idea that there was danger going on in your father's house or that he married a blackspiral. I was told to give intell on the town and report any problems that has caused the disappearance of women between 20 to 35 years and as well men from a old friend, I am going to guess those men are with him." She said before sitting there looking out the window to think.

I drove us to a hotel just wanting to get us somewhere safer, I pulled into a parking spot outside of a hotel six and sighed before seeing the man named A'Kreath standing by the office as if he had been waiting for a while, his jacket looked torn up but he showed no injuries as he stood away from the wall and looked to me and the car, a part of me said to peel out now and run again while another part said don't it is pointless to run he will catch me. I looked away and shook my head to gather my thoughts before looking back at A'Kreath and he was now standing right at the window, I freaked out wondering how he did that and started to try and lock the door before he opened it but in my panic I could not find the lock and he opened the door and said simply. " Shhh Crystal you and your family are safe, calm down and relax you are not in danger now." he said his voice taking on a tone that seemed unnatural for him it was concerned and worried as he seemed calmer then before.

I wanted to kick him in the ball's but my body refused to move from what had happened with everything today and I felt my body get very heavy then everything went black.

after I blacked out I felt someone pick me up and carry me somewhere. after several hours I woke up to my father asleep in a chair in a vary elegant room, there was a tray with water on it and a sandwich for a small wake up snack this was not a hotel room at hotel six, looking around I saw Valerie in some soft clothing and asleep on a sofa.

I didn't want to wake up anyone and so I uncovered myself and trying my best to not let the bed to make noise though the bed made no sound and noticing now this bed was a high quality bed not a cheap one you get in most stores. Putting my foot on the ebonywood flooring, I can tell it is expensive, I got out of the bed and walked over to bathroom.

I turned on the hot shower and I got in and god the water felt so nice. As I was enjoying the water every thing from yesterday came rushing back to me and my throat felt dry and I started to scream. Which brought Valerie running into the bathroom and she said," Crystal Shhh is okay, we are in a safe place, Shhh sweet Crystal. Everyone is safe away from your step mother and step sisters."

I hugged Valerie and I started to calm down but something wanted me to push her way for lying about her job but I think I understand why she never told me, just seeing A'Kreath scared me because I knew he was at the house but he met us at the hotel before we got there, and the unnatural sound that came from that house.

She then said,"Come let's put clean clothes on you and get you some food in your stomach."

I nodded at her and kept quite, as we were walking out of the bathroom there was a knock on the door and Valerie looked at me and said," The clothes are in the closet and it is big enough to walk in side and you can get dressed inside. So you don't have to worry about anyone looking."

She walks to the door and she calls out to other person on the outside and she said,"Yes who is it?"

I look through the closet to find nice and pretty clothes that I probably couldn't afford. I really couldn't decide between the soft cloth, black with stars and looks like the moons on them. and soft cloths with black and silver tone linings.

I wanted something different so I went with the soft cloth with black and silver tone linings.

from the other side of the door I heard a deep tone of voice it sounded familiar but at the same time I could not place it. "My name is Damion, I am checking up on little nightingale." He said softly and Valerie only seemed confused before looking in my direction.

Valerie smirks and she said,"Damion my old friend nice seeing you, I will let you check on your little nightingale." As she started to laugh and she moved to the side of the door to let the man inside the room.

Damion smirked and looked to Valerie. "It is good to see you safe Valerie but I did hear you ran afoul of some spirals. I will need you down in my workshop to make sure none of the damage is permanent, less you would like A'Kreath to do the work."He said before walking in and looking around the room to see my father sleeping in the

He shook his head and grabbed a blanket putting it around him before looking to me in the closet. " Ah there you are nightingale." He said his dark blue eyes locking onto me I could feel them almost eating me up as if I was prey again, but there was something odd to him as he slowly walked to me his movements were precise like a cat or a dancers foot work, or a martial artist. All I could focus on was those fluid movements the fact his eyes were locked onto me I wanted more but at the same time I knew I was in the room with a creature of the night as he came into the light of the closet I could see his raven black hair shine just slightly in the light. " How are you feeling nightingale? I know A'Kreath said you passed out in terror." He said softly his hand coming up and his finger touching my chin the claw of his finger barely pressing into my skin as he lightly made me look up at him.

Valerie smirks at him and said," Nah that be to painful when A'Kreath does it and I will be downstairs then." She then left the room and closed the door behind her.

I felt the sparks running though my skin and the desire on taking him here and now. But I shaked my head from those thoughts and said,"Yes I am fine, just shock on what happened and I am wondering where we are? Are we at your place?"

Damion shook his head. " This is not my place this is technically A'Kreath's mansion since he took over it from his mentor and friend Tracer. I suppose you would be wanting answers my little nightingale." He said watching me he placed his hand on my shoulder lightly and lead me to the bed and sat me down upon the bed and sat beside me. " Your life will never be the same again Crystal. You have been thrust violently into the world of darkness, or the supernatural world, kindred also known as vampires, garu also known as werewolves, mages and fey as well as almost anything else you can think of are real little nightingale, they have been hiding among humans for millinia. We hide to protect our selves as from the humans but to also protect the humans." he said looking at me and moving my hair out of my face and tilted his head slightly as he reached into the drawer beside the bed in the nightstand and pulled out a brush and began to brush my hair. " Not all creatures of the night are the same, some are like A'Kreath and want to protect the humans and keep our worlds as separate as possible while others are like the Sabat or the black spiral dancers and want to do nothing but increase their numbers and corrupt and bring chaos to the humans." he added as he brushed my hair it felt oddly good when he brushed my hair and every brush of his fingers against my skin sent shivers through my body it was as if he was raw extacy.

God I wished time would stop in place so I can enjoy this beautiful person beside me and I so much want him, to make out with him for making me feel the way I desire him. I shook those thoughts away deep in my mind and turned around to face him. I smiled at him and said,"So all the fairytales are all real? That are told to scare children who don't listen to their parents."

Damion looked to me and smiled softly and nodded faintly. "Yes they are real little nightingale, with some embellishment. " He said softly and finished brushing my hair and placed the brush back in the drawer before looking back at me. "If you have anymore questions you can ask me or A'Kreath, but only when you are ready. Am I understood little nightingale? " He asked me as he placed his finger at my chin again looking deep into my eyes.

I blushed at him and said,"But I want to ask so many questions and this a perfect time. By the way you keep teasing me, I might just jump you here and now."

Damion chuckled softly and took a deep breath in and leaned into me slightly. "As much as I would love to take you and make you mine there is a couple of things you should take note of. One I am a kindred a vampire, and two your father is still in the room asleep." he said and gets just a little bit closer his eyes locked onto mine and I could see those deep blue eyes slit like a dragons and a faint growl leaves his lips that are close to mine before leaning back and smirked. " I do not think your father wouldn't like to wake up to his daughter getting railed."

My poor heart is beating so fast like it's going to jump out of my chest because of this beautiful person and how he is so close to me now. I wanted to kiss him and feel how his lips feel on mine. When he moved back, I took a deep breath and said,"True I think that'd be awkward on both of us."

Damion chuckled and said simply."On you and him, I don't really care to much." he said and ran his nail down my chin and neck to my collar bone and slowly took his hand away from me and looked over to my father. "So what are your questions little nightingale? " he asked softly and slowly looked back to me with a soft smile that hunger in his eyes again.

I blush and get up and sit in his lap and put my arms around his neck and smirked as if daring him to try something to me. I said," One of my questions are you said there are vampires? Are they like twilight or like True blood? How many are there?"

Damion looked to me and smirked seeing what I was trying to do, he then tilted his head looking into my eyes. " true blood was close but not close enough and twilight was actually based on the fey." he said before I felt his hand in my hair pulling my head back his teeth near my neck I could feel his breath on my neck I almost wanted him to bite me but at the same time it was pleasurable but frightening as well before I knew what was fully going on I was on the bed on my back and one of his knees was in-between my legs up against my crotch firmly and he was over my a hand on my chest near my collar bones and his eyes looking into mine. "Be careful testing me little nightingale you only get one chance." he said in a smooth dark seductive tone. " and there are many different clans and bloodlines thirteen clans and to many blood lines to count." he said softly his hands still in my hair and on my chest and his knee against my crotch.

Biting my lips and trying to not to moan as he is doing this to me making me feel good in everyway but as I was I about to say something there was a knock on the door.

Damion growled low I could not tell if it was at me or at the knock at the door, he leaned down and kissed me deeply placing his hand on my neck gripping firmly but not cutting off the air supply I had, I did feel a sting on the side of my neck but it felt ungodly good it almost made me orgasm from the feeling of it as I began to feel him break the kiss I wanted to protest before I felt a sharp pleasurable pain in my lip and as he was getting up I could tast a small amount of my own blood and he was licking his lips smirking to me before he walked to the door and opened it to see A'Kreath at the door. " Yes A'Kreath? " he said softly and seemingly intrigued by akreaths appearance at the door to which A'Kreath said softly. " I do understand you are interested in our guest Damion but please do refrain from feeding on her, I smell her blood, and I came to ask you to talk with me for a moment." A'Kreath said and Damion smiled running his claw up A'Kreath's neck and he seemed to have no reaction to which Damion seemed disappointed. "Angel has truly torn a part of you out with her passing didn't she." he said in a sad tone.

I heard a sigh and foot steps walking away from the door and I stood up and walked to Damion and said," Isn't it mean to talk about one's passed love like that?" Damion making my hand go down his back.

Damion smiled sadly. " I am allowed to talk like that when both of them are my childer, A'Kreath and Angel, she ruined him in a lot of ways. He used to be so much fun to tease and get a reaction from. " he said softly and shakes his head looking back to me.

I remember on what Damion said,"On being careful with him." I look at him and said, "what do you mean on being careful? Does it have to do with what A'Kreath just said?"

Damion chuckled softly. " because one I want to make you mine fully, more then just this." he touched my neck and I felt an odd sensation on my neck like there was a scar but it also felt good. "Meaning I want to turn you and in order to do that I would have to kill you then give you my own blood, and if we did anything before I turned you, you would become a ghoul and that is a curse in its self." he said softly.

I loved this man touch so much and said to him, "What is a ghoul ? Is it that bad for you do something to me sexual? Does it have to do like mating like werewolves do like I read in the books?"

Damion looked to me and smiled faintly. " I could do many sexual things to you little nightingale as long as it does not involve me penatrating you due to the fact my semen is blood not semen and a ghoul is a servant of a kindred, we give a human our blood and turn them into a ghoul bestowing some power to them to help them survive certain supernatural beings if they have to fight them, and they become addicted to kindred blood. So doing anything that involves my blood would end up in you becoming ghoul, you deserve a chance at life." he said softly and leaned down to kiss my lips again. " I need to go talk to A'Kreath little nightingale." he said to me softly and growled to me watching me shiver again as he walked away.

I enjoy how he kisses me and I wanted more but I understand he needs to go talk with A'Kreath and I hugged him and kissing his lips back and said,"I understand and I can go get something to eat before my stomach starts growling at me." I laughed and walked out of the bedroom and went downstairs.
